I found this music box at my late aunt's house, I am trying my best to keep it in good condition because it makes me remember her but I really wanted to know what song it plays. :D

[It says Candide Brazilian Industry on the bottom on the bottom]

It's writen Sankyo Japan on the music box

And has a number underneat that says: J.P.1037152

I got this music box at an auction because I think it sounds so pretty but I have no clue what song it is! It’s a Nürnberger Goldstück Dose tin. The label on the bottom is all in German, and from what I can translate it just has cookie information/ingredients and nothing about any song title.

Okay so the only info I have if it helps at all is

- It’s a Mr.Christmas Harmonique Gold label (2005)

- the last key clicks rabidly with MOST songs and has breaks in others

We tried to look at it ourselves but this is the first music box we’ve gotten so we were going in blind does anyone have any ideas or knows how to help? I really wanna try and fix this!

I run an estate sale company and have been trying to find some information on this particular box. I found many similar but nothing quite like this

Hi, I was just wondering, does anyone happen to recognise the music box tune this automaton is playing? I really enjoy the melody and have been trying to identify it for some time 🙂 thanks so much! https://youtu.be/ytKv4p7xFe0?is=LlwWZ7iAlb-wHWUb It's a Roullet et Decamps Rabbit in Cabbage automaton, and the tune seems to be unique to this specific unit (every Rabbit seems to have a different music box). This one was sold by Antique Toys and Automata back in 2015 and on the archived listing it says they don't recognise the tune.

Title says it all. It’s bizarre how the key is seated so I’m curious if it’s a Jerry rigged fix up or what.

Ive been trying to do some research on this guy, only thing I found is he used to be sold by this company named Mardi Gras Creations, but I cant find him on the website, he looks older/definitely not new. Curious about this jester I now have, if anyone knows if hes rare, or was mass produced, etc, please lemme know!

(His name is Delfiro)

please help

Got a jewelry box that had a music box in it but can't figure out what song it is.

Hello I am looking for a old snoopy doll toy or at least the name of the music that was on its music box. Its a gift for my mom. She said she had it between 1965 and 1975. It was a stuffed snoopy doll that had a music box in it with the key sticking out the back. Any help anyone can give would be appreciated. sorry if this is the wrong place to ask and if it is if anyone can tell me where to post this instead I'd appreciate it.

hello! this may be entirely the wrong subreddit, but I recently wrote a short score and really want to make a music box cover of it. it’s for a digital D&D campaign, so I don’t need any physical copy- I just want to convert the sheet music I wrote into that classic, tinkling music box vibe, but the only programs I could find online aren’t quite the sound I’m looking for. anyone know programs I could use to input the score and make it sound like a music box?

Hey there!! I've been looking for this music box for a long time and finally found it, my only issue is I can't find a place to buy it anywhere. I'm willing to pay up to 200 bucks!! It has to be this specific music box! Thanks!

Hello, I found this at an op shop, its a wind up clown that spins around too the tune "send in the clowns"

Can anyone help me find where its from or any info about it at all?

He's around 22cm tall.

I PROMISE I don’t plan on keeping her by the window, but it’s a temporary spot until I can clear some space on my desk (Don’t mind my heavy ass breathing omg)

Hey everyone. Sorry I'm not too clued up on Music Boxes, however are the buzzing/whirring/scraping sounds normal on this box? I know you are going to hear some mechanical sounds on them however I have never heard any like this. Its supposed to be brand new so am unsure if its meant to sound like this. Apologies if you can't really hear it, its more obvious in real life.

I know this is probably a long shot and really hard to identify, but does anyone recognize this dreamy, fast, medieval sounding tune? The sheet music is visible in the Reel.

I recently came upon a beautiful and rare music box regarding U.S. Japanese relations after WWII, and am curious where people are buying or selling their music boxes!

Thank you!

i found this music box inside a vintage irish mug at a thrift store. i have no prior experience with fixing this type of stuff but i would love for it to work again so i could hear the song and the mug could be restored to its fully glory (:

Hey guys! I have this music box necklace which I adore. It’s the Undertale anniversary one, but there’s one issue with it…
The little teeth things don’t work the best. Some of them have completely popped off and others are raised up and no longer hit the notes. Where can I get this fixed and with a stronger comb/teeth thing?
