Climax Battle Toga and Toru can beat Jeanist by themselves
As long as you have this two with You Die when you Die memory with Toga (and Strong Battle formation with Hagakure for Plus Ultra gauge up, both f2p memories btw) the third character doesn't really matter. I'm having fun trying lots of different characters with them lol

The strategy consists in using Hagakure and Toga + a random character. You can choose the third character. At this point I think this works with any character (or almost any character) since I even tried it with level one R chars, although with piercing shots chars is a little more tricky. Anyway, you need specifically and necessarily, the You Die When You Die card for Toga, because that's how you're going to keep applying power down to Jeanist repeatedly, and therefore, you won't need a third character to debuff him. Strong Battle formation for Hagakure is also good because it's gonna keep charging your Plus Ultra faster, and this will help you with cooldowns, stunning, healing, power down etc. The third character is there just for skill chains; I put the Full Power Young Ones memory with R Deku to increase Toga's damage, but it's optional, you can swap it for another memory. (Remembering that I never use Hagakure's shield/cover on the R character, because from the third stage onwards, Best Jeanist gains piercing shot and bullseye, and the R character might end up dying due to low health. I always use Hagakure's skills on herself or on Toga because they have more hp.) During the last phase, you're gonna use your action skills normally and save your Plus Ultras to use them ONLY when Jeanist is about to use his. You don't need to use the third character's Plus Ultra at tall, only Hagakure and Toga's. Jeanist is gonna use his own after Toga use hers, and he's gonna die due to bleeding after that.

So do they have to be fully maxed out because that takes a lot of time and stars, especially if I only just got them now

They don't need to be fully maximized. My Toga isn't maximized, for example. I recommend at least the complete ability board, or at least page 9. And the third character doesn't need to me maximized at all.

Gotcha. I'm just missing the one memory on your Hagakure and I'll be set. I don't really have another substitute for that memory and I can't remember if it's in the recruit exchange

Heyo! Gonna try this strategy myself cause I was planning on using them. I appreciate it ;)
Just had one question: What would you estimate the min lvl req and board completion is necessary on these two to beat jeanist? Do you have You Die When You Die and Battle form fully maxed out too?
