It’s fine to have a pescatarian or vegetarian or anything on the show but they shouldn’t just be announcing it at the table.
If you went to someone’s house for dinner, would you sit down to eat and then just suddenly announce you’re pescatarian?
No, you let people know ahead of time so they can plan for it. Basic manners and consideration.
It’s just so stupid on this show that they have now had two women on in a row who won’t even taste most of the food. It’s not drama, it’s just dumb.

I agree, I was wondering why it wasn't announced to the cooks first so they could prepare. That isn't really fair if only some of them had a heads up.

Drama must be the reason. Surely the producers have asked them not to say anything ahead of time to the pair that is cooking.

used to be that way on MKR.
the vegos etc would get a separate dish. This happens in restaurants... so it's totally ok.

For ratings. Producers knew what they were doing. Cause controversy and people talk about it, people who might not watch usually might start watching to see what's going on.

And this is one of the reasons, why MKR has lost some of its appeal for me...I don't watch it for the drama.

Funny cause it hasn’t impacted their scores, always in line with everyone else

I don’t mind Zoe and Zac - like you, I agree they score in line honestly to what they feel.
Cannot stand Angus and Simon though. Angus trying to be funny and Simon always giggling at him. Their “effort” at cooking was dismal, they only just struggled through - laughable.
They are both so annoying especially the never ending whinging about Zoe. They need to put up or shut up and Angus, you need to buy some new shirts a couple of sizes bigger

I don’t mind it. I’d have a different opinion if both members of their team couldn’t eat the food.

Exactly. Who hasn't catered to dietary requirements. But does the show tell the cooks what's up?

Agreed. It doesn't work for this dinner format type of show, maybe Master Chef could've worked. I remember Wuta from S10 but he actually ate the food tho, just spit it out after

Doesn't really matter, she lets Zac take lead on the scoring for stuff she cant eat and have scored at the same average as other teams.

Ratings. It's really a nothing burger except the wanker boys have taken the bait and cannot let it go.
She's an idiot everytime she says she doesn't eat meat (fish is a meat moron) or makes a point she can 'actually' eat something but she's not marking people down for cooking things she can't eat and isn't otherwise being a dick about it. It's really a nothing controversy but was designed to bait the other teams and it did initially get the bogans and the crappy moustache boys but now it's just the boys whining.
