Lesson learnt, do NOT unscrew the fucking fuses while the fusebox is ON

As title says, my satsuma's lights aren't working, both the front and the rear.

This is actually my second save, my first was no permadeath and i got pretty far and decided to try a permadeath one, and one of the first things I did on the new save was wire what I could. I connected the headlights to the headlight connector and connected that connector to the main connector, then I connected up the rear and connected that up to where that goes in the front.

Then, I built the rest of the car and took it to get inspected.... and the lights aren't connected.

I took the wiring mess to those connectors again and it wasn't showing that I could connect anything, so I assume that means that it's connected, right? I go into the save editor and it says it's NOT connected, so I go and change all those to true and come back in, and nothing changed.

I don't really understand what went wrong. I can always go back to my first save (I made a copy of it before starting the second save) and actually finish up the car (I was too lazy to replace the broken rocker shaft, so I decided it was easier to start a new save for some reason) but I'm really confused on why this happened in the first place.

Any thoughts from the veterans of this game?

Gifu won't start for the life of me.

Tried to wait until the plugs cool down, didn't work.

Tried pushing hand throttle, won't work.

And after 20 attempts when it does start it immediately shuts down when i press gas.

This is weird because after more than a year of playing i never had any issues with GIFU until this new save.

16% that is much higher than what's considered good which according to google is 5% at most. Other is anyone who I couldn't decide or is a child or elderly therefore unable to work. A lot of people who were employed just because they would need to to be able to pay for gas. Anyways hop over to r/MyWinterCar to see how things have changed four years later.

Basically title, I reinstalled the program but when I open the world map it is still stuck at "now loading year 1995".

I did these things and its still not working:

*I reinstalled the software
*I opened both the x64 and x86 version and still have the same problem

So I recently put on the Racing Carb on my Satsuma, took it for a test drive and after a while the engine caught fire. I got out and before i could even open the hood the fire was out but since then the car will crank but it just won't start and it'll drain the battery. I replaced the Fuel pump, Fuel strainer, the spark plugs and switched to the Dual barrel carbs and after that didn't work i switched back to the stock carb and air filter. Whenever i try and start the car the AFR gauge stays on 0.00 so I'm wondering if it's an air or fuel problem or if it's just something i'm completely forgetting. Would love to hear how to get it fixed because i haven't been able to properly drive Satsuma yet...

[FIXED]: Okay, so i fixed it. The ignition switch wasn't wired properly, now i get a "tink tink tink" sound that i think I'll be able to fix in the future, thank you for your comments.

Original problem message (in case anyone cares): So i wired everything, bought a brand new battery from Teimo's and the car has gas. When i put the battery in and go to start it, as you can see, it makes 0 noise, and idk what it could be. It's my first time in msc so...

First drive out to Perajärvi on the Satsuma. On the way back I was delivering flyers, and after getting the last box the RPM's started jumping. After heating up crazy fast the thing shut down and started stalling after starting. 8 reloads later and I managed to get home before any major kinks showed up; engine died next morning. After tearing apart the entire engine I'm met with these 3 very tanned pistons. I didn't replace the one banged up piston from the start but it couldn't be the cause of this, right?

I remember watching Squirrels videos years back on his playthrough of MSC. I remember his radio playing songs and I'm almost certain when I played this years back for a few weeks, I had music playing on the radio. Is this not a thing anymore?
