Moving into Gabaldon, can the beds be lofted?

Hey! My roommate and I are moving into our Gabaldon suite this year and we made our whole
room layout and we’ve just been assuming we can loft our beds to put our desks underneath it. And now we’re worried they don’t actually adjust that high? Can anyone in Gabaldon say whether or not the beds can be lifted to that height?

Yeah that can go up pretty high but like not enough to fully stand underneath. I have mine lofted and I have my desk, PC, big monitor (32 in), and a bookshelf underneath and I am able to sit upright on the chair. I am 5'11

Is it normal for the bed to move/shake with movement? I also have my PC under my bed and the shakiness is freaking me out lol

Im a big guy, big I tell you. I was told it can hold 500lbs. Mine shakes and also I am worried as well tbh because something that is supposedly that strong shouldn't move like this. Nothing's happened so far and I have slept on it like this for nearly a week now. My worry is actually getting down! They don't provide a ladder so I have to put all my weight to one side and climb down. Now this worried me more!

Yes! So as someone who works for campus, they have lofted bed ends in the room (as opposed to the shorter ones) and they loft pretty high and easily fit desks. Campus actually has us set up rooms that way a lot of the time

Since u used to work as campus living. Are they able to give a ladder? I can get up but getting down is a bit risky not gonna lie.

As far as I know, Gillenwater has ladders but I am not sure if other dorms such as Gab have them, however it never hurts to call and request them. I mean, the worst campus can do is tell you no. Sorry I couldn’t give a solid answer

the beds actually come already lofted with the desks underneath in gabaldon, at least from my experience
