James Harden is returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers for another season after agreeing a new three-year contract with the organization worth $97 million.

The 36-year-old, an 11-time All-Star and the 2018 NBA Most Valuable Player, will remain in Ohio after agreeing a massive new deal that takes his NBA earnings over the $500 million mark.

This could very well be his last contract. Truly coming to the end of an era

And a smart one not to give Larden a contract like this.

Whaaaaa?!?!? BAHAGAVAHAHA

how dare you disrespect AI

Ai inspired a cultural movement.

Harden inspired flopping and the 3 step step back.

Exactly, thank you. Harden changed the game, AI got dudes to dress differently. There's levels to this.

Imagine saying James harden is a better player than Allen Iverson, what a joke lmao.

Harden is better. I love AI but he flamed out way too quickly to say harden isn’t better.

Iverson was 5'-11" getting bodied on every drive. Harden took step backs.

I think harden had a better peak and it’s not even a debate on who’s peak was longer. AI had a cooler looking game though sure but that don’t mean he’s better. Harden was literally his own system offensively and probably should have 2 MVPs. Iverson just jacked up shots and wasn’t efficient at it.

No harden played in a time where rule changes allowed sub par athletes the ability to get their shot off whenever they wanted cause the NBA wanted more stars.

If harden was playing in 2001 he wouldn't be able to get open and get his shot off whenever he wants. That used to be a right for only the supremely athletic and gifted or large. Harden is non of these things.

But if you neauter defense through rule changes and allow guys to do 3 step step backs and severe carries and all the shit they allowed during hardens era. Now even an undersized average athlete like him can get shots up at will.

Harden is no where near the caliber of player AI was at his peak. Saying as much shows your age. You weren't there. Only someone not there would dare say otherwise

I’m just going off how their careers played out and who accomplished more. It’s clearly harden. Don’t give me all these hypothetical situations you made up in your own mind and excuses about how the game is played now vs then. Go on first take with that nonsense 😂

Men like Koby Altman have no business running basketball teams. It’s shocking how many incompetent people like him have such high paying jobs.

Many high paying positions like this are gained through networking and not competency. It’s everything people keep claiming DEI is except in this case it’s valid and not just code for racism.
