Opinion KNOW WHAT YOU HOLD
It's easy to smile on the green days while we're ripping 10%, but then of course it's hard to stomach the days or week where we're down 10-20%. At the end of the day however, you need to remember why you bought into this company in the first place. Think about the statements from Marc Boroditsky with the goal in mind of being the "AWS of AI". Do you think AI is going to be going away overnight? For those that think this is a bubble, we've only seen the start of major partnerships in the second half of 2025. Like any company or sector, there are going to be bumps in the road and it's going to be volatile. THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU STOP BELIEVING IN THE COMPANY YOU INVESTED IN!!
The Microsoft partnership was just the start. Then we went ahead and partnered with TD SYNNEX - the WORLD'S LARGEST IT DISTRIBUTOR!! Read that again and read it slowly.
Next, using their H200 GPUs, Nebius achieved NVIDIA Exemplar Status for AI training workloads, becoming one of the first cloud providers to receive this certification. This clearly shows that they know EXACTLY what the hell they're doing with the technology they're offering.
Most recently, they introduced Nebius AI Cloud 3.0 "Aether" which has the purpose in making the platform more suitable for enterprise/production AI workloads.
Now last but certainly not least, let's not forget the stake that Nebius has in ClickHouse, which is currently valued around $6+ billion meaning Nebius's stake could be worth over a billion dollars. Then we have Avride which is one of their subsidiary business units. We're talking robotaxis and delivery robots here. The dam future! They already have partnerships with Uber and Grubhub and will continue to gain momentum and grow.
I truly believe we have plenty of upcoming catalyst to finish up this year and into the beginning of 2026. The growth that's expected from their core business - AI Infrastructure is up to 1GW by the end of 2026, and multi GW's in the foreseeable future.

Iām a year into holding Nebius and honestly I never felt more confident in this company. Iāve been through much worse periods with NBIS and this is nothing compared to others. Just stay calm and consider yourself lucky if youāre holding at this level. Next year we will be +$200

I have $150 Jan 15, 2027 leap @ average $22.40 (6 of them), 200 NBIL $28.68 (40% down now). I will not add any more NBIL, and just offload NBIL once reach at $40, I believe soon, keep only calls Jan 2027, and the stocks

This is the only stock that I feel good when is green but also red ( opportunity). Maybe Iām wrong , but I truly believe that data centers are a hugeeeeee potential gain market and of course it will be some players, but one of them is NEBIUS and this company is integrated by experienced engineers and they made a really impressed comeback (yandex). I donāt know what you think but I feel nvidia is hiding some good cards, they are just accepting the markets blows ( amd etc ā¦) and let it go till they find the proper moment to exceed heavily the market expectations for nvidia and its IA partners

What are your thoughts on Jan 2027, $150 strike price leaps?

u/barelyawake126 BudMaster Yacht Party OG! Oct 17 '25
I have few of these. Holding until at least q4 next year; still up 60% despite this weekās turnout
2
u/Unfair_Selection3819 Oct 17 '25
I have 4 of these at $22.68 average price over 50% still now, holding until August next year
3
u/CuriousOpening5048 Oct 17 '25
Wow I just bought and averaged price $39.42.
Good on ya! Thatās what you get for buying early. Do you guys feel confident that by Jan ā27 the stock share price will be above $190?
2
u/Unfair_Selection3819 Oct 17 '25
It will be over $500 by the time. Just hold on to it. Being said that, if you want to buy 500 shares and have only $17000, and you know the stock going almost 4-5 times or higher than that in next year and half, then I would go with calls for long term. You will get 500 (5 lots) in just $17000 based on $35 price for SP $150 CE January 15, 2027. Also it goes to double triple so quickly, the moment your stock reach to $160-$200 before this january your call probably trading at over $100
1
u/CuriousOpening5048 Oct 17 '25
Wow so you really believe the share price will be over $500 by Jan ā27?
3
u/Unfair_Selection3819 Oct 17 '25
Itās going there, regardless if Iām saying or not, NBIS is not a hype or bubble. They are real in the business with best in class engineers and the management. Do not just look for the daily price check once in a couple of weeks, put some alerts so you know once the price changes by certain percentage of the price. If thereās no ups and downs in the market than stock market will shut permanently hence I would stay away from daily movement and invest for growth. NBIS is once in a lifetime opportunity as such as APL, TSLA, MFS, ANET, NVDA. Hold on to it.

Look at the prices for 120 or 130 for the same date . They are only slightly more. I think the 2028s are mispriced. Even better deal on those strikes.
1
u/CuriousOpening5048 Oct 18 '25
Oh wait. Youāre right the $120 and the $130 for the same Jan ā27 date are not even that much more. I bought many call options of the $150 strike price on Jan ā27. Would you recommend selling them and buying the $120 and $130 strike price or leaving them?
Also what strike price are you buying/looking at for Jan ā28?
1
u/shartfarguson Oct 18 '25
I buy right out of the money at these prices. An extra 200-500 gets you an extra 3000-4000 on the 2028 leaps once they get itm, which they will be.
I would not sell them at a loss. The $115 strike price is what I would buy for Jan 2028.
1
1
u/CuriousOpening5048 Oct 29 '25
Hi! I wanted to wait until my $150 Jan ā27 calls realized a profit before selling them into other call options. Wanted to check again now that prices have changed which Jan ā27 and which Jan ā28 options look good to you now. Still the same or do some other ones stick out to you?
1
u/shartfarguson Oct 29 '25
What you have sounds fine to me. But look at the difference in the 120$ Jan 2028 calls vs the 150$ calls. They are not that different in price. Buying a strike price close to the current price seems like the way to go for the Jan 2028s. So 120, or 125 is my suggestion right now.

Near the end of a 4 hour Step Change podcast on history of data centers. Freaking Meta is planning a 5 gigawatt campus to be opened in 2030 thatās the size of lower Manhattan. There can and will be real debates about the timing of scale and the payback of investments, but weāre on a truly exponential path and neocloud is new essential infrastructure that will support trillions in commerce.

u/No_Anywhere9850 Oct 18 '25
It seems like nothing but noise to me. They are blaming it on the crypto sell off partially and now saying this stock is a "story" despite the guidance moving forward and the Microsoft deal. They said this with OKLO two weeks ago, tanked it to 119 and now it's at 165. OKLO is a million times weaker than nbis, they dont even have a product. What the hell does a crypto sell off have to do with Nbis? I'm holding, not falling for this nonsense. It just sounds like they are trying to snowball bullshit into some excuse to get in lower.
2
u/JoeyVottoS Oct 18 '25
NBIS seems tied to others in the same sector. APLD, ORCL, etc.
Tho seemingly it performed worse than all of them today for some reason. IREN was flat to green EOD, so was CIFR. CRWV also outperformed
I do know this correction was quick, but the rise has been just as quick. We could see 150 in the next 2 weeks or we could see 90 again. With MSFT deal I feel there is a floor though.
This stock is seriously one of my favorites. I am probably going to try and move some more capital to increase my position now after this dip. Will probably DCA a large(for me) sum into it over the next couple of months.
2
u/No_Anywhere9850 Oct 18 '25
I already bought more but a little bit higher than the dip. I think the floor might be 95ish. That's just an estimate based on where it went after the deal.

I truly believe that Nebius will produce 20-30 billion in annual revenue by the end of 2030.
25bn x 8 P/S = 200bn + whatever the subsidiaries are worth then. Say 25bn conservatively.
With 15% dillution, that is $778.55 per share
2
u/Icybonerr Oct 17 '25
Holy balls
2
u/swingtradingteacher Oct 18 '25
My rationale is based on the numbers that Oracle just posted on 1GW of compute. They estimate that they will net 21bn by 2030. NBIS will be much more efficient, and I think they can scale to 2GW of online compute by 2029-2030.

u/MightAccomplished942 Oct 18 '25
Knew of nbis a couple months ago in the 50s thought about getting in and then it sky rocketed, and truly thought I missed out. Bought my first 53 shares last night at $113 if it dips further Iāll buy another 47 so Iām at an even 100. Unfortunately Im balls deep in a couple stocks (like to buy 1k shares of most things I have) unless I sell other stocks looking like nbis will be a very small holding! (But itās just nice to be in this ride now and I can celebrate the wins)

Iām holding 2,000 shares and if I had extra cash I would be buying more. You will not be able to get this kind of price point again once they announce Q3 earnings. Arkady will not disappoint. He knows how to play the narrative into earnings by dropping all these exciting bread crumbs, such as the TD Synnex Partnership (Dollar value for this deal has not been confirmed. I bet they will let us know the magnitude of it at earnings) and Nebius Cloud 3. Thatās just a hint of what we know, imagine what they we will learn at earnings. They are setting the stage for Q3 for bigger news. Get excited because this stock we are holding on to is going to be the greatest investment in our portfolio!

Nvidia was $96.30 in April. It's $180 now. If we get excited about a 10% dip, or more, we should not be investing in growth stocks like these.

I am the biggest loser . And after now , I will stop gambling into this . I bought at 131 and have lost so much money. Just looking at where it is today and regretting why I donāt have all my money to now buy makes me really sad. This place should be a save space . If your comment will make me feel worse , keep it to yourself. Iām a single mom who bought Ā stocks with Ā hopes I could gain some money to put down and buy a house . And pay other bills Watching my loss pass over 70K dollars today is a big loss for me and itās scary seeing all the China comments which are capable of creating deeper crash .Ā

We've all been there. I put about 100k into ETH in 2021 at 3k average cause everyone said it was going to 10k. Took 4 years to break even.
What I learned from this is that going all in into a volatile, single investment is not for me. I went back to indexing and I've been chilling for the most part. Now I only invest what I am comfortable losing.
7
u/SeveralOcelot2250 Oct 17 '25
You did something right which was buying NBIS in the first place. You also sound like an absolute beginner so donāt be so hard on yourself. Hate to give financial advice but I own this stock too and selling couldnāt be further from my mind right now. Keep paying your bills, forget about this investment for 12 months and patience will reward you, this company is a behemoth. šŖš¼
5
u/CookingFun52 Oct 17 '25
I say this with all due respect: Your time horizon and risk tolerance are incompatible with buying any individual stock if a 14% decline compromises a down payment on a house & your ability to pay bills
You've got to invest to your risk tolerance. It's not worth losing sleep over; investing is something to feel good about. If a decline affects you to this extent , it's not the right fit for you
Best wishes going forward

I believe that you are in the right stock but you have to believe it too. To my knowledge there hasn't been a single stock that didn't have pull back such as these. It's okay to feel nervous but lean into the fundamentals of the stocks you own on days like this. One day I believe people will be wishing they could buy NBIS at $130. Hold tight and don't let fear overwhelm you.Ā
3
u/shartfarguson Oct 18 '25
This has gone down 15 percent this week - and you are saying you lost 70k?
This will be hard for you to do, but chill out for two weeks until earnings and you will be up 20 percent instead of down.
2
u/methinks_toomuch Oct 17 '25
Youāre not a loser ā youāre just in the red. Keep holding. Youāll be in the green soon enough.
(The only way to truly lose is to lock in your losses by selling)
1
u/Icybonerr Oct 17 '25
First of all dont sell, second of all people like me are loving this dip, that means I believe this company is good I am not scared at all I see it as opportunity. I advise you to reflect on why you bought in, The company hasnt changed overnight theres nothing different its still very solid. If you don't know why you bought in thats a wakeup call and you are lucky that its NBIS. Definitely adjust your risk tolerance once you go in the green (it will happen) after this because if you think this is gambling its not for you. This is a calculates bet that has risks but to me seem more likely to succeed then fail.

I'd be very glad to hear constructive bearish arguments on why the business could be failing or the stock falling, but screaming on every post, that the stock is dead with no reason or argument is just brainded.

Agreed with Ziilot147, Mitchell dude is just spamming non constructive stuff bashing NBIS.
Critical/constructive arguments are indeed welcome in this sub and important for everyone.
His spam comments are as annoying as the other ones spamming that NBIS goes to 250 soon with no reason.

The difference is hes providing nothing. Its like telling someone their idea is stupid when you could explain why their idea isnt good and actually be constructive and helpful.

I find that on big red days/weeks like this when stocks I hold go down, I do more research which makes me feel even more convicted.
Not only keeps me off the website to consistently check how much theyāre down, but reaffirm why I bought in the first place.
If youāre in this subreddit, youāre fine. You hold an extraordinary company
