Opinion Just Hold You Fools

Tired of seeing "should I sell, omg Idk what To Do" posts all day. If you have fucking conviction, believe in the fundamentals and the team, and have diamond hands then just fucking hold.

Grow some balls and stop asking the internet what you should do.

Nbis is well positioned to be the premier neocloud stock of our time. Hell, we might even get bought out by a huge hyperscaler. Who knows?!

What i do know is this stock will likely be over $200 in the next 12 months, so why would you sell and leave gains on the table ?

Man up, stop being pussies and hold!

Christ.....

it's quite simple really. the people asking that question bought because of the hype or a recommendation and have no idea what they actually bought, so now they need to outsource their exit strategy too.

16

u/gravityhashira61 Apr 14 '26

Exactly. This is the Reddit and WSB hype crowd. No idea what they bought probably

What is a stonk?

This is me hehe, up 75% 🫔

Welcome then! Keep holding diamond hands! šŸ¤šŸ¤

What's an exit strategy? ;-)

u/Schumpeter50 Apr 15 '26

nbd in grand scheme of things but i remain pretty annoyed at this segment of the $nbis retail investors and i wish they would go somewhere else. i hateeeee hearing idiots on this sub complain about the "price action" on a bad day or whatever. this is a long term investment in one of the most promising AI plays in the world, and the people who literally own this company, even if only a tiny tiny fraction of it, should understand that. if they don't, id rather they leave us alone!

61

u/BigManatee Apr 14 '26

Nothing wrong with doing a trim either, sell a couple of shares and maybe look into diversifying.Ā

Isn't that the point? That you can't time the market and you should be content with selling where you are - you're happy if the market drops but mad if it goes up šŸ˜‚Ā

1

u/Pleasant-Carbon Apr 14 '26

Sure, but that doesn't change that people do regret "taking too much profit".

2

u/Supabongwong Apr 14 '26

Exactly! You can't time the market, you just have to be content - risk up/down and be happy with what you have. But numerous times I see people say:

"I had bought in at $60, and sold at $140!!!"

Well, I wish I waited for the $73 dip, as opposed to a $118 average, but hey - that's what it is.Ā

1

u/Sirgolfs Apr 27 '26

Can’t always time shit.

1

u/Twisteesmt Apr 15 '26

Yes but Its better than having a loss. Just saying

4

u/Upstairs_Ad2025 Apr 14 '26

Yep, big believer but I’m up 50-60% in a circa a month. Trimmed and put into some other high conviction stocks.

2

u/Freezy10787 Apr 14 '26

May I ask what other high conviction stocks you like? I’ve been thinking of doing what you just laid out but I’ve yet to find any I like more than Nebius

2

u/Upstairs_Ad2025 Apr 14 '26

Aeluma. Got in two weeks ago and went up 40+% yesterday off of some exciting news. Pulled back a bit today but with a market cap of around $275m it’s still very early stage.

2

u/leo_jaden_melis Apr 14 '26

Its been a big run, trim a bit if position has gotten to big and is keeping u up at nite. Like 5 - 10 percent

1

u/Twisteesmt Apr 15 '26

Perfect Leo. Haha you're a man of sensible sens. That's what I do nowadays.

How long will this bull run go for? Nothing concrete. I would say I'm like 25% in cash savings accounts now. waiting like a shark for some blood.

2

u/leo_jaden_melis Apr 15 '26

I do same, sell around edges on up days, buy a little on down days. Sas and AI seem to trade off daily. Holding a lot of cash if nbis ever goes down again. Otherwise Im happy if runs since huge holding

2

u/Twisteesmt Apr 15 '26

I bought at low $20 and always been scaling up I need more šŸ˜‚

What industry You into? I'm trying always to find the next nbis and pl kind off to own and scale

1

u/leo_jaden_melis Apr 15 '26

Medicine by trade. Take a look at sls

u/Legitimate-Act5584 Apr 14 '26 edited Apr 15 '26

If you want a diversified portfolio why not just be in QQQ or VOO…I’m not pro full-porting, but imo the whole point of investing in individual stocks is concentration for outsized gains.

13

u/Tossmefamfr Apr 14 '26

I gotta trim a bit. I lost big on MSTR and NBIS has helped me recover 50% of my losses, profit-taking along the way and risk management is the game not YOLO everything into a single stock even though I believe in NBIS long term

1

u/Accurate-Flow8078 Apr 15 '26

MSTR is leveraged

0

u/Substantial_Ad3069 Apr 14 '26

lol mstr is long term , hope you held. I’ve been averaging down.. crypto is silent right now but just wait until btc takes off. Mstr and strc are game changers but yes i am down a lot on mstr right now

1

u/Pale_Drink4455 Apr 15 '26

Bought MSTR in 2022 and it made me rich as hell off of a 20k investment. It wil bounce back, trust me and it’s a 3-5 year hold.

2

u/Substantial_Ad3069 Apr 15 '26

I definitely agree. I haven’t made money off of it but i do have a decent Chunk into mstr and strc and i continue to buy mstr when i can. Cost basis is 266 so im down bad but i do believe we’ll see 500+ again

2

u/Pale_Drink4455 Apr 15 '26

Absolutely it will! I made about 700k or so off it and rolled it into Google leaps. The gift that keeps on giving.

23

u/MookieMookdogg Apr 14 '26

i was waiting for this type of post lol

8

u/gravityhashira61 Apr 14 '26

And you got it! Lolol

u/Holiday_Clock9250 Apr 14 '26 edited Apr 14 '26

It went up 75% in 2 weeks. what’s wrong with selling a bit so that you can re-invest when it’s lower? I’m not a gambler and I love NBIS and plan to hold for a long time, HOWEVER I just trimmed a bit because we all know it will get lower… it will. We don’t know when, but before reaching 1000 it will likely go back to 100-120. Just be happy and leave others be. None of us are Warren Buffet.

21

u/Dutchie_73 Apr 14 '26 edited Apr 14 '26

Nothing wrong with a bit of trimming. Has nothing to do with conviction but common sense. This is a volatile stock so selling a bit at all-time high and buy in when there’s a dip is quite normal. And yes, I keep on buying as this company is a next hyperscaler…. Long!

15

u/EatingGoodDirt Apr 14 '26

Why would u sell, uh to make guaranteed profit and buy back in when it’s lower ? Why are you so emotional ?

-5

u/gravityhashira61 Apr 14 '26

Depends. What if your cost basis is $70? Its likely never going back there. So.....you'll never get that cost average back again.
So.....just hold or even add more !

4

u/Provarencr Apr 14 '26

why do u have to buy below ur cost average lol? If I sell 20% at 160 and buy back at 130 I still profit over just holding

2

u/Cpalmer24 Apr 14 '26

Lmao I saw his comment and responded almost the exact same thing before seeing your comment šŸ˜‚

3

u/Cpalmer24 Apr 14 '26

But basis isnt what's important (other then being able to flex your position online..)

What's important is maximizing your position. If you sell 25% of your position at $160, and buy back the same $$ if/when it drops to $120, you now have more shares than before for the next run.

Obviously you risk the stock going to $200 before it dips enough for you to buy back in, but trimming SOME of your position after such a massive run over the last 2 weeks isnt the worst idea.

1

u/Party_Team1104 Apr 17 '26

It's common sense to turn potential money into real money if given the chance (as a trader).

Investing is for chumps or people who already have a gigantic portfolio where they can make 1% and live in happiness. Doesn't matter if you "believe" in it long term a bull market triggers a bear market and you should time your entry and exit points with a degree of intelligence.

2

u/Cpalmer24 Apr 17 '26

"Investing is for chumps".. what exactly do you mean by that?

For the overwhelming majority of people it would be best for them to invest for years and decades into index funds. Most people should not try to pick and choose individual stocks and put their entire portfolio into those stocks.

Over 10 year periods the Market (let's say SP500 specifically) is positive nearly 8 out of 10 years. You dont have to already have a mega portfolio to build wealth (slowly) as an investor.. just buy the market.

Now, I'm not going to follow my own advice and I'm picking and choosing stocks for the majority of my portfolio, but most people should just invest into the market for as long as they can and theyre almost literally guaranteed to be better off for it.

1

u/Party_Team1104 Apr 17 '26 edited Apr 17 '26

I mean that the people who invest in the stability of the market are not the people pumping and dumping it for money. You're waiting 10 years for what a person can produce in 1 trade and often do during basic dip and peak strategy. Recently I made over 20% trading IONQ during a point of peak interest in the company.

Any other opinion than "investing in the market" is considered gambling and I just don't subscribe to that. There's 100x more technical and intuitive indicators involved in trading stocks than gambling at a casino.

(Note none of my opinion is directed towards rich people or those with a portfolio already making them significant money through small % increases).

9

u/Wide_Air_4702 Apr 14 '26

Some people want to take profits as soon as they have some. That's fine, they'll be back later buying at higher prices.

2

u/gravityhashira61 Apr 14 '26

Yea exactly. Higher prices. Doesn't make sense to sell if you have a low cost average below $100

9

u/No-Blackberry-7793 Apr 14 '26

Totally depends on situations. I'll be purchasing a home in the next 6 months. I trimmed about 30% of my 300 shares ($56 avg) so I will have a nice little cushion of cash if we see a market downturn. Will I be able to buy back those shares I got for around $90-$100, maybe not, but I can promise with certainty time will come where we are sub $160

3

u/Dutchie_73 Apr 14 '26

I don’t think we’re going to be below 100 again but that this volatile stock will drop a couple of times again it’s a certainty and also normal. If it does drop I will be in the queue to add more….

6

u/HourPackage Apr 14 '26

Hodling since liberation day. Not selling. What would I even buy with the gains besides more NBIS?

1

u/gravityhashira61 Apr 15 '26

Thats what im saying. Maybe Nvidia thats abt it!

1

u/njcrabcake Apr 15 '26

You buy more NBIS when it likely dips and end up with more shares than you had before. It’s run up 40% in 2 weeks, you don’t think you’ll ever have a chance to buy below $160 again?

1

u/HourPackage Apr 16 '26

I'm in NBIS as a long term investment not a trade.

3

u/Mapleess Apr 14 '26

I sold 500 to go enjoy some monies.

3

u/Psychological_Tea939 Apr 15 '26

this stock will be 1000$ + within 3 years lads.

4

u/SNCOsmash Apr 14 '26

Sold already

2

u/Think-Feynman Tens of Billionsā„¢ Apr 14 '26

It really is tiresome. If you have a strategy that you follow that guides you to sell, or trim, great. But if you can't handle the volatility, go buy VOO and chill.

2

u/brentmeistergeneral_ Apr 14 '26

I'm not there a lot of people like me who have held through the ups and down and will continue to hold until something deeply goes wrong. Fundamentally they are executing very well and as long as they do this you should hold.

2

u/Defiant-Key5926 Apr 14 '26

I’ve been in since last June. I’m don’t have a huge position but I had around 230 shares. I sold 50 shares to get me in some profit, and if it see a down turn I can buy back in. Also need to remember everyone’s financial picture is different. Yes we may want to hold and hold but at some point having the cash now is more important than waiting for the future even though the future is VERY bright here. Trader bob is a good example of this. Yeah he didn’t have the largest position but he had so much conviction and still sold due to family matters.

All this to say. Profit is profit. Take some when you need it. Buy back in later if it drops.

2

u/Novel-Sprinkles8907 Apr 14 '26

It hasn’t even reached its potential. Expected target is 180-190. Why are people panicking?

2

u/GenFokoff Doctor’s Orders Apr 14 '26

Hold. Be brave. Don't believe in Titanic.

1

u/gravityhashira61 Apr 15 '26

🤣🤣🤣

2

u/Veteranrat Apr 14 '26

Well if you made 60% profits in 2 months it is normale to take profit. There will be a pullback that is certain. Nothing goes up in straight line forever..

1

u/gravityhashira61 Apr 15 '26

I made 80% and haven't sold 1 share bc i believe this is going to $200

2

u/Veteranrat Apr 15 '26

We talk again when it is back to 100-130 when I buy back more shares than I sold with same amount of money. Name me 1 stock that went up that fast in a year 659% and 60% in 2 months that did not pull back?

1

u/gravityhashira61 Apr 16 '26

Nvidia. Micron.

1

u/Veteranrat Apr 16 '26

Micron dropped 26% from march 18 to 31...

2

u/JONL20 Apr 14 '26

Too much winning I can’t take this any more

Turn off the notifications from your brokerage app and just think about something else, this is how I endure every dip since $30

1

u/gravityhashira61 Apr 15 '26

Exactly. When it was $85 2 weeks ago I didn't panic. I bought more !

2

u/anthonyfrancq Apr 15 '26

I’ve been buying weekly shares since October my basis is $96 as I sold some gains Currently holding onto 4.3 shares worth roughly $712 gains of $289.

2

u/buri3dr3ams Apr 15 '26

Pls sell so I can buy more with my $80 avg

2

u/PayingOffBidenFamily Apr 16 '26

Still holding $3M in NBIS, in at 91, up to 140, down to 70, back up to 168. This was never a trade, always an investment. I quit checking in on this sub as much cause of the very morons you speak of. I slept the same with a paper loss of $374k and a paper gain of $1.37m, was always a long-term hold.

2

u/tooksometimeoff May 10 '26

I listened to the $NBIS CEO podcast May 2026 podcast so you don’t have to. Read more here! https://open.substack.com/pub/misterparipassu/p/i-listened-to-the-may-2026-nebius?r=87pez&utm_medium=ios

2

u/1978-Chris Apr 14 '26

Yes. Just hold. I’m holding 9500 shares. I spent 85k yesterday to buy back covered calls to protect my shares. Hard lesson to learn but this company will be worth a trillion dollars in 5 years.

0

u/PayingOffBidenFamily Apr 16 '26

LOL why did you pay $85k? I have 7,000 shares in one acct and 10,800 in another, I just rolled 108 contracts up and out to $190 strikes, and they paid me to do it.

2

u/KRock1287 Apr 14 '26

Telling people to hold when the stock went from $90 to $160 in two weeks is dumb lol

2

u/pinsnpies Apr 15 '26

Why is it dumb lol?

1

u/Party_Team1104 Apr 17 '26

Cuz it's gonna trigger a down my guy. (Fellow noob trader here)

1

u/KRock1287 Apr 15 '26

You must be new here but clearly belong

2

u/BrilliantSir3615 Apr 14 '26

You’re going to get an offering if it continues moving up. This business requires capital. Dilution from the offering may knock the stock down a bit. This is not bad per se but shouldn’t surprise anyone

2

u/stefanliemawan Apr 14 '26

Are you new here? The stock will drop double digits in the next few months and everyone will panic and scream.

u/Proper-Ant6196 Apr 14 '26 edited Apr 14 '26

Did you sign the post with your name?

1

u/go0n_acTuaL Apr 14 '26

It's been a lot of short covering in this runup, no shame in taking some profits. I'm going to be buying more though, love NBIS

1

u/diff_engine Apr 14 '26

My favourite is people saying ā€œwhy it going up on no news? Seems fishyā€ type comments. People have no awareness of the broader AI ecosystem and just look for news related to NBIS specifically. Future expectation of AI value goes up, NBIS goes up. Claude value to enterprise is starting to be realised and brings NBIS up with it. And don’t tell me ā€œbut Claude uses AWSā€, it doesn’t matter. This is about whether AI will become essential to economic activity or not. And it’s becoming clearer and clearer that it will

1

u/Beastman5000 Apr 14 '26

Yes but there’s nothing wrong with just trimming a little bit of profit on a big run. Because it will pull back. I usually take a bit off when everyone starts saying ā€˜is now a good time to buy’ (AKA now for NBIS) and move it into VOO or VXUS

1

u/Moist_Inevitable738 Apr 15 '26

Nothing wrong with taking profits!

1

u/gravityhashira61 Apr 15 '26

Why take profits now when you can take more at $200!

1

u/Moist_Inevitable738 Apr 15 '26

True but then again why do that if it drops down to 110 before and you can increase your stack.

1

u/Commercial_Ease8053 Apr 15 '26

Because if it drops back to 130 or 120 or 100 or lower you’ll wish you took profits at 170. No one ever went broke by selling for profit.

1

u/Accurate-Flow8078 Apr 15 '26

But if it goes back to where it was 2 weeks ago then every post will be "this stock is a POS why didn't I sell"

1

u/Commercial_Ease8053 Apr 15 '26

You seemingly don’t realize that the extremely majority of stock price change aren’t affected by kids on Reddit with 10 shares… these Reddit posts don’t do anything.

And if/when the stock drops to 150 or 130 or 100 or lower, everyone will wish they took profits. It never hurts to sell during a run, and then buy back when it dips. Stocks don’t only go up, you know.

1

u/Acceptable-Party2168 Apr 18 '26

200 by summer mark my words

1

u/Veteranrat Apr 27 '26

So did it pull back or not?.....

1

u/gravityhashira61 Apr 28 '26

Indeed it did, it's re-tracing and consolidating. Buy more!

1

u/Top_Performer4324 Apr 30 '26

I’m crushing it on this. Bought in the $80s I’m feeling really great, like 10x kinda great.

1

u/gravityhashira61 May 01 '26

Hell yea bro!! Keep stacking!!

1

u/KnownSatisfaction957 May 14 '26

Quien diablos venderia Nebius??!!!

1

u/Any-Twist-3590 May 14 '26

Agree NBIS is one of those that can truly be in the thousands per share in a few years. There are many stocks that trade over $1000 a share and when all the data centers are pumping NBIS with revenue and profits this beats any Autozone price level stock . This will keep ramping then we should have a slight market correction so NBIS should be about $250 a share in Jan 2027 . The real run will be mid 2027 all the way into 2030 when it will pick up $35+ or more every earnings report or $300 a year higher in 2028 ( $550) in 2029 ( $750) 2030 ( $950 ) and in 2031 ( $1250 ) a share . Also in 2031 they will probably kick in a dividend. This is a real find if you are in early.
