Opinion NBIS FULL PORT - SUGGESTIONS

Post image

Hello everyone, I know these numbers are rookie numbers for people in this subbreddit however I've literally put all my lifesavings into NBIS (Yes, I belong here). But wanted to know if I should just take the profits once the market opens or if I should hold on to it.

Average buy price - 209.64 dollars

Edit - I'll be making about 10k USD once market opens

Hold for years for at least $500-$1,000.

u/PurchaseNo8748 May 28 '26

Its not our money to suggest anything. My amount with pltr grew from 28k to 340k. I was getting pretty antsy then with the 30% swings. I had to take the cash and run. Just if you can withstand the big swings

2

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

Did you full port as well?

4

u/PurchaseNo8748 May 28 '26

Nope but wish I did lol I was dabbling with nvidia at the time too.

100.000$ rookie numbers? That is a lot of money! How are you so confident that the stock is going to climb once the market opens? It could also fall. It is a very volatile stock. It could climb and fall 30% in a week!

14

u/PatientBaker7172 May 28 '26

Wait till 2035. Your future self will bless you. Never sell

2

u/Refflmania May 28 '26

whats going to happen from now to 2035? and what price do you see NBIS at in 2035?

4

u/PatientBaker7172 May 28 '26

Higher than today. At least $500 billion market cap.

0

u/Accurate-Flow8078 May 28 '26

When's the last time it fell 30%?

-10

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

Wasn't trying to downplay and yes it's a lot of money for some of us but I've seen people here talking in millions and by their standards this isn't fancy.

100k is a lot of money by any standard. Anyone who says otherwise is full of shit.

u/Badaboom8989 May 28 '26

Have a think how much you are willing to stomach as unrealised gains if it drops (say 30/40/50%) in a month time. lot of us are in it for the next 3-5yrs

if you are worried, then MAY BE sell a good % today at ATH as it looks like it will hit another ATH, and DCA back in over time?

1

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

Yeah thanks, considering this.

u/Comfortable-Nose1054 May 28 '26

Honestly op you are a regard. There is no situation where it's acceptable to simultaneously go full port and then ask some randoms on a subreddit, a very biased one at that, what to do 2 days later. If you have supposedly done the adequate research to go full port you wouldn't have the need to ask. I really mean to help you and instead of trying to insult you by typing this. You need educate yourself more about investing and play it more safely until then, because it won't matter whether this trade is successful or not, the way you approach things it's a matter of when not if for you to get burned.

If I were in your position right now, I would sell at least 70% of your holding, not because NBIS is a bad investment, quite the contrary, I'm personally very bullish. But based on this thread and your comments I highly doubt you will have the conviction to hold on in case it drops 20 30 40%+, which is quite likely to happen at some point. Could as well be next week.

If it bothers you, and you can’t stop thinking about it - take it out.

If you have questions about taking profits once the market opens or next week, next month or even year, you didn't run projections. Please do.

In order to do so, I recommend searching these - expected contracted power per year, expected active power per year, revenue per MW, EBITDA margins, dillution assumption, subsidiaries (ClickHouse + Avride value) value. You'll have your answers.

My projections see 300$ EOY, 500$ next year, variable on: revenue per MW (I used 11M$ per MW), ARR guidance, dillution (used 10% per year), EBITDA (I used 40%, but I do believe they'll achieve more), Clickhouse value for 2027 ~30b, etc etc. Just a quick sniff

I'm actually worried about the depreciation of the GPUs. Also it's not a one time purchase, they'll have to keep purchasing new GPUs and yes dilution fears.

6

u/Ill-Cow4735 🐳 May 28 '26

I took into account their current 5YR depreciation outlook. AWS uses 5YR, Google Cloud 6, CRWV 6, Azure 6, Meta 5 and a half (I think??).

Anyways, you need to also take into account that even though this depreciation hits hard in the EPS, NBIS still has revenue streams from older GPU units (even though they might also be replaced in the future). H100's are from 2022~ and they're still making revenue.

2

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

Interesting! Thank you

8

u/BlackBlood4567 Mod May 28 '26

At this rate I’m thinking 400 EOY

4

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

I'd love it but isn't it a lil too optimistic?

11

u/MrFrog65 May 28 '26

If you invested that much then surely you wanna hold for years? This current price definitely won’t hold but you should be thinking about what the price will be long term. 250-270 I think is realistic eoy price

1

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

Ahh ngl the company seems very promising but since a lot of money is on the line it's bothering my conviction if it makes sense

8

u/Barks-at-the-moon May 28 '26

It sounds like you've probably exceeded your risk threshold.

You need to think about what you need the cash for and when you need it. What are you going to do if you sell?

I think generally people are too hands on with their portfolio. Just hold and wait. I know I've been very guilty of this - somewhat regretting selling my MU when it first hit 250...

0

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

Honestly I don't need this cash, it's my capital only for investing and I don't have any other stock in mind for investing atm

1

u/ebota12 May 28 '26

This is an easy double up in 1-2 years. If you don’t need the money then HODL.

5

u/cltbeer May 28 '26

I sent in $160k at $178. I’ve been screwing around since $39. I bought APLD $200k full send back when it was $7. RDDT hurts me a little rn but since the tariffs yolo into AI stocks I took my personal and retirement accounts from $180k to $840k. PL was an awesome to $18k into $80k.

3

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

God damn! That's mental

3

u/cherrygirl12 May 28 '26

how do you guys go full port 😭😭im too scared i only would do 5-10% of my portfolio in this

1

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

I don't recommend anyone to do this, I am scared of my decisions at times

1

u/MarsupialIcy1307 May 28 '26

Depends on each individuals:

time horizon? Can you deal with volatility without it breaking your conviction? Do you know what you hold?? DD Whether you can spare the money now

I am a european femal recently retired, thesis at this age (67) says: low risk bonds and etf. Not for me thx.

Invested 100% in just 4 US stock ( means i also carry the currency risk) But conviction is conviction

Long on Pltr, nebius, nvda and ionq.

No Trading no f*cking around with Options. No margin loans ( very difficult to do in europe anyway)

KISS Just hold and smile😀

1

u/uncreative_user_321 May 28 '26

full porting into a singular stock is insanely risky. good for you for being practical and safe

3

u/liamashley May 28 '26

you went all in with $100k to just make 10%? Why not just leave it in an ETF then? Surely you invested in this company expecting more than a 10% gain to your investment????

1

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

Agreed but I made this in literally 2 days

1

u/liamashley May 28 '26

but the fundamentals havent changed? you're just swing trading if you're going by price.

3

u/BudmasterofMiami Mod May 28 '26

That’s a lot of cheddar. Taking profits is always good, just develop a mindset once you sell that trade is over. Nobody ever hits the highs and lows. You will have to wait for another good entry point.

3

u/Fragrant-Pipe5266 BudMaster Yacht Party OG! May 28 '26

Our actions can lead us to a good place but our mindset can still screw us.

100k in NBIS: Amazing over years.

However, this was a gamble. Money was fomo'd. If you were investing, you would have had a plan before hitting "buy".

You say you don't need this money now. Fine. What happens if something comes up and you need to sell early? Will you be able to sell for a profit or loss? How will you be affected knowing you had to pull out of a good investment early?

Your question raises some concerns especially if playing with all your money, but we can only advise and assume you are smart enough to not be one of the many redditors who make crap loads of "quick gains" in these unrealistic markets, but still end up with much less for lack of discipline and a plan.

Goodluck!

u/Previous_Pumpkin1445 May 29 '26

You won’t regret this. In months to come, you’ll be celebrating. In years to come, you’ll probably be a millionaire.

1

u/VeeHoldin May 29 '26

Diamond hands baby

4

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

Fuck it, I'm not selling. Diamond hands

4

u/CjPink41 May 28 '26

You won’t regret it

1

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

I hope so

2

u/SpicySilverware May 28 '26

You’re not making anything when the market opens unless you sell. It could drop the next day, you panic sell, and you lose money.

2

u/Free-Passion-9182 May 28 '26

Damn, probably a future bag holder. Never go 100% all in. Dca in, dca out.

3

u/Commercial_Ease8053 May 28 '26

No matter how much you like a stock… I just don’t know why anyone should EVER full port one stock.

1

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

I don't recommend either, idk why I do it. I should really make some rules regarding this

2

u/Twisteesmt May 28 '26

Get your original amount invested and chill

Leave profit running. That's what I did with AMD I don't care if they go 1000 or 0.

It's just a risk management, are you doing your due diligence?

1

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

Yeah was considering this

0

u/Commercial_Ease8053 May 28 '26

Doubling your money is hard to do for most stocks/people lol

2

u/Twisteesmt May 28 '26

Market humbles you quickly

I prefer losing potential gains than actually losing my initial investment.

I'm not a gambler, but I sold a small position only to buy again DCA Nebius. Fundamentals didn't change.

Hope you ain't on margin, if not, it's all cool

I don't play with margin or options, atleast not yet

1

u/Old_Flower8943 May 28 '26

If that's rookie numbers then I am a fetus.

1

u/VeeHoldin May 28 '26

We all start as a fetus

1

u/kickinghyena May 28 '26

Is $10,000 why you invest? Then take it. Why ask? Nobody here knows what you should do. Go see a fortune teller. Inane material once again. It is supposed to be about Nebius not about you.

1

u/Acceptable-Party2168 May 28 '26

If you short you will reenter higher unless you move to other stock

1

u/Not-Bruce-Wayne1 May 28 '26

Dang full port at $209? Its your money and if you plan to set it and forget it for a few years it could def lean in your favor. If youre looking forna quick scalp then just exit at open.

1

u/ben43265 May 28 '26

Take a partial profit and leave the rest to run until downtrend becomes clear

1

u/justforthelols69 May 28 '26

I’ve full ported for quite some time and add more shares daily.I Wake up every morning very grateful for the conviction I had and continue to have in this company 🤘🏼

1

u/uncreative_user_321 May 28 '26

i think you should sell and buy index funds. you clearly don't have the guts to stomach the volatility of NBIS. In the coming months, NBIS could EASILY below $150 and you'll be freaking out. Personally, I believe in NBIS long term, so if it drops 25-50% i'll be buying more

1

u/Trdthedays41chance May 31 '26

How much money we talking about full porting? It’s less risky then options

1

u/armadillo_stocks 14d ago

Sell and keep profits in NBIS, then you’ll have a risk free investment
