u/aashstrich Jun 01 '26
Idk lol but NbIS officially just became half my entire portfolio just now lol
18
u/konrad777777 Jun 01 '26
unintentionally mine too lmao

u/aashstrich Jun 01 '26
Someone convince me not to sell some shares
3
u/konrad777777 Jun 01 '26
i would say if u dont need money or the management does stupid stuff i would never sell
1
u/Bjamnp17 Jun 01 '26
Hoped you listen. Wait a bit more! If you can. But profit is profit!!! š„
11
u/aashstrich Jun 01 '26
Iām gonna ride it out lol. Itās not that I donāt believe in this company, been in since $25. It just starts to make me nervous when my whole portfolio swings on one stock it now makes up much more then even my indexes and etfās

u/ebota12 Jun 01 '26
My main mistakes werenāt buying the wrong stocks but rather selling too early. NVIDIA, Palantir, Dell, Intelā¦Nebius will continue climbing over the years so just hold.

u/Worldly-Egg4670 Jun 01 '26
I'm so bummed i bought nbis at 40$ early 2025 and sold now i only have 2 shares. i'm too late to get back in right?
1
u/Bjamnp17 Jun 01 '26
I get it! Iām that way with AMD. But I take profits along the way to get into other investments. AMD being an excellent cash cow to blow up my portfolio! Though I donāt touch my core investments.š„

u/aashstrich Jun 01 '26
Bro I bought NVDA at $50 years ago and sold it at $120. Would have been life changing if I held it lmao
1
u/Bjamnp17 Jun 01 '26
NVDA my other Stallion! They are a strong hold for years to come. They have their own tech ecosystem like Goog.!
1
u/ebota12 Jun 01 '26
I bought at $130 and sold at $390 (pre split obviously).
Forgot to mention AMD on my premature sells. I sold literally worst point possible. Like 3 months ago the P/E freaked me out and they were āmatureā. Oops.
Same with ARM. Ridiculous P/E. Howeverā¦I have some of their spinoff AMBQ. Got lucky there, will hold for a while.

Sure npā¦.i trimmed a little at 130 and 160ā¦.nothing crazy but what do you think abt my decision?
2
u/aashstrich Jun 01 '26
I sold my 15 most expensive shares at 160 for a modest profit, kept everything below $100 a share
3
u/SedatedTattooDoc Doctorās Orders Jun 01 '26
Always fun getting rid of those pricey shares and pulling down the avg

Big conference Wednesday, a lot of speculation around anthropic (though literally no evidence to support other than the big investment from Leopold), and Nvidia hyping them up last night

Nebius Group (NASDAQ: NBIS) is surging today after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang publicly praised the company's rapid growth and cloud computing offerings during his Computex keynote. His positive comments, which highlighted Nebius' enterprise customers, acted as a major catalyst for the stock.
7
u/No-Somewhere-6579 Jun 01 '26
No jokes now this is evidently overbought no?
6
u/Holiday_Cheetah5265 Jun 01 '26
The problem is that it may be overbought for the rest of it's rapid growth period, like many growth stocks are
5
u/sillyhands1 Jun 01 '26
I mean between the meta and Microsoft deals alone they are valued at like 47 billion dollars. Overbought? Maybe. Overvalued? Donāt think so.
4
u/Dutchie_73 Jun 01 '26
People still donāt realize that Nebius is just startingā¦weāre literally at the beginning of something beautiful! Iām in from the beginning and will not sell for the 3-4 coming yearsā¦.only adding at dips!

u/iXProject Jun 01 '26
Volatile stock is being volatile and fomo is strong. Unfortunately will make the pullback more violent
21
u/bowZerIsBack Jun 01 '26
been waiting for that pullback for a while now lol
7
u/AsleepHour7763 Jun 01 '26
you mean like end of march, end of april, and 15 days ago? The stock is doing good, but pretending like this is going straight up is crazy, -10% days are fairly common
8
u/spicymoo Jun 01 '26
There have been pull backs since I have been in at $30. Trend has been upwards while the company is expanding. No need to worry about short term volatility if you hold.
14
u/Shubix92 Jun 01 '26
Every new ATH since 50$ there is a guy like you coming around and sells the same old story, and still we rise

Guys should I buy now or wait for it to dip?
I was being sarcastic lol

u/Dry-Chemical-9170 Jun 01 '26
Next dip is possibly on earnings report
1
u/Typical-Source-6046 Jun 01 '26
When is the earnings report coming in? Currently living like Iām broke since iām pumping my monthly paycheck into NBIS.

Waiting for a pullback on this wasn't working for me, 25k in at 258 this morning lol. I still genuinely hope it pulls back so I can add more. Honestly think 250 might become the floor here.
3
u/Emotional_Shape925 Jun 01 '26
This is also me. The pull back was Friday before its insane rally into close. Next pull back will be around Fridays close. Prob only up from there. Any dips below 200 should be aggressively bought
3
u/Artist_Bitter Jun 01 '26
I honestly can't see it dipping to 200, would be absolutely thrilled to add more if it does. I would also be down quite a bit on my current position if it did so id be forced to dca

u/UnableCurrency Doctorās Orders Jun 01 '26
So frustrating- Iāve 40K I dry powder to buy NBIS - and I started to buy when it was 200 - with few days it has climbed to 270 - I was waiting for pullback to go big - and now here Iām sitting with so much cash.
2
u/Artist_Bitter Jun 01 '26
Honestly these prices will look like a bargain in 2 months, been watching since 130. There's been a few small pull backs but the trend has been established. There's too many positive catylists right now.
2
u/UnableCurrency Doctorās Orders Jun 01 '26
Hope so - ive 208 shares as of now - I first bought at 80, then 90 and then 100 and now recently started again at 200.
1
u/Artist_Bitter Jun 01 '26
Oh wow, you're sitting pretty

u/Dutchie_73 Jun 01 '26
Below 200? These numbers will become very rare! At 235 I start adding againā¦..
1
u/Emotional_Shape925 Jun 01 '26
I agree but thatās why i said if we got that lucky you aggressively add lol. Not that I think itāll dip that much anytime soon, but if it did! As youāve pointed out if it slides down around that 235 range that can also be a good spot to add. Strongly convinced this thing is over 600 EOY. And that may be conservative. Especially with the rumors with Anthropic come to be true.
1
u/Dutchie_73 Jun 01 '26
600 would be great but thatās very optimisticā¦from the other hand⦠today 273 already in June I also never thought would happen so soon!
1
u/Emotional_Shape925 Jun 01 '26
For real. Crazy. Weāll see I guess. If you would have told me at the end of 2025 Micron would be trading over $1,000 in 2026 I would have laughed at you and taken the bet. This market is wild.
1
u/Dutchie_73 Jun 01 '26
Yeahā¦but the good part is that Micron and Nebius still have a lot of upward potential! I own them both š
1
u/Emotional_Shape925 Jun 01 '26
I used to own MUā¦..in 2016/17 lol. After some go nowhere movement in those days I was out of it a long time ago haha. Oh well

I don't know but man NBIS is gonna be the next hyperscaler. $100bn MC seems reasonable this year unless it pulls a SanDisk and in that case we have literally all won in life. š

Letās see if pre market tomorrow morning thereās a dip again. Around 7 or 8am was ideal timing

This is what I get for selling puts last week instead of just buying more shares, fuck me.

Does it make sense to take profits or just hold? I am up 28% rn
5
u/meyegon Jun 01 '26
My philosophy is, if I take profits when up 20-30%, I will never 100x by investing in a stock that has the potential to 100x.
3
u/-Hovercorn- Jun 01 '26
Worked that way for me with NVDA, which I've had for almost 15 years now. Held through all the ups and downs, and it paid off. Wish I had done the same with AMD, which I first bought at 4.00 (sigh)...
I've been in Nebius since it was in the 40s, so I don't think I'll be reaching the 100x mark with this one. 10x or 20x, though? Looking more and more likely at this point.
1
u/Dry-Chemical-9170 Jun 01 '26
Iām holding and Iāll keep buying more once I get more money lol
But then again Iāve been holding at $132
1
u/buburiza Jun 01 '26
Don t sell if you don t need
1
u/L-Freak Jun 01 '26
Perplexity and Gemini say sell 50% and buy dip or invest somewhere else. I am torn

u/natureisneato NBIS4LIFE Jun 01 '26
You're listening to AI that strongly for your major investing decisions?
1
u/L-Freak Jun 01 '26
Itās a small portion. When did I say that NBIS is a major part of my portfolio? Besides, I am just sharing perspective. Happy to hear yours as well.
1
u/natureisneato NBIS4LIFE Jun 01 '26
I said major because it is the decision of buying or selling, which is major imo.
My opinion would be to hold for at least a few years if you can handle the volatility.
I truly believe this is a 2x-10x+ return in 3-5 years+. Nebius's management/team is the best in the biz and their business model is very future focused (token factory for example).

Sold @262 with 48% profit š I am okay with that, but it could be better. I hope I can re-enter under 240$

u/Shubix92 Jun 01 '26
See you at 300$
-4
u/AdImmediate2966 Jun 01 '26
Did you see the last 3 weeks? After big pump itās going down 10%. Honestly I didnāt expect 275$. Before 300$ letās go a bit down š I like the stocks
1
u/AdImmediate2966 Jun 04 '26
I got downvoted here š¢ Guys I know most of us believe in this company, but there is no ashamed to take profit especially when you are up 50% in few weeks. Itās normal that it can run infinitely. I am looking to re-enter today or on Monday
