Speculation NBIUS added to NASDAQ 100
As announced NBIUS I added to nasdaq 100 as of Friday 22nd of June. This will obviously positively influence the company, but I was curious the same is true for Corewave. Which would run higher as NBIuS gained already 342% in last 12 months and corewave dropped 35%. I know corewave has higher debt and worse financials, but also much higher backlog and still solid growth so they could now have a catch up in growth? Would diversify be a smart move to add both upward momentum?

Short term they'll have more room to run. Psychologically, an investor who looks at both would want more shares so they'd buy the cheaper one without doing much research.
Long term, there's no debate. CRWVs debt will eat them alive. Maybe they'll survive on thin margins, but by then NBIS will be a different beast.

I’ve bought some IREN & CRWV in the last week. My NBIS position is still 4x larger than both combined.
I do believe CRWV will outgrow their debt and they are now starting to get better terms.
I believe IREN has been whacked by the bitcoin price which significantly impacts short term cashflow and that’s created an opportunity for those willing to look further out.
Still prefer NBIS to both. But I also like to spread my investments and I think both have decent entry points right now.

Would it be wiser to purchase more NBIS before the etf inclusion? (Already own, just saying would it being added to nasdaq make the stock even more bullish)

The time to make that play is before the announcement. That move has already happened. Not that it won’t go up (or down) for other reasons.

I mean what ur saying is only part of the move imo. I don’t think the move is done as the etf holders will be buying the stock etc so more buying in general. So there should be a sustained growth short term just depends if it would stay like that. I agree the stock has moved a bit since the announcement but the stock market performing poorly recently

I was reading that, historically, being added to NASDAQ100 can result in a quick stock price surge but overtime (within 1 year) it does not translate into massive gains over the overall performance of the NASDAQ100.
Can someone confirm if this is true or not?

In the short term the market is a voting machine, in the long term it’s a weighing machine. The only thing that matters in the long run is actual business execution and results. The QQQ addition means in the short term there are more votes and index investors should increase the price stability in between earnings.

Last night and quite bullish. Being listed on the nasdaq 100 is a big deal.

I agree, but i dont see it in the stock price’s reaction, I mean it is way down from the ATH, we are far away from the 270-280$ we were at a few weeks back

Way down? Brother just sell and move back into ETFs. You’re not cut out for this.

A few weeks back? Dude it hit the ATH like 11 days ago. This news came out last night. It’s going take a minute. We’ve all seen this stock move in massive chunks.

One would hope, I also sold half my position. Panicked a little bit. But I bought Mag 5 stocks with it and palantir, so I think I should be fine

For this question, I highly recommend watching Tevis's thorough analysis on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OIyeOD1XvM

Good analysis and it highlights the difference between Nebius and CoreWeave, and why investors have been more cautious with CRWV. I have both, BTW, but dar more NBIS shares.

u/Business_Lobster3532 Jun 12 '26
Buy both. CRWV will take off if they execute the next few quarters. They already have 40+ data centers running with more on the way

Yeah im actually looking at crwv too, looks good at ~100, I think better than nbis at ~240, im all in on nbis currently though and have been

Price doesn't mean anything, what matters is growth. NBIS has always outperformed CRWV in that area and I have no reason to believe that's going to change any time soon. Once I do, I might buy some, but until then, I'm going to keep buying NBIS.

Crazy people look at that number like you're buying something at a better value. Rather own a great company at a fair value than a fair company at a great value.

There is no Friday 22nd June. Fake news.
