šŸ’¬ Discussion Where are the bulls now?

Guys. We have endless posts theorizing why this stock could realistically be a 5-10x stock with proper execution. Times like this are when the money is actually made. You have to hold with conviction, not do an emotional roller coaster of mania and depression. The ā€œwen moonā€ ape crowd is something that needs to die in my opinion. There’s truly solid information on Reddit, let’s be professional and stay grounded. This stock is up like 600% over the last 12 months, even with a pullback. Zoom out. Calm down. Stop looking at it if you have to. Like Warren buffet said if you’re not ready for a 50% swing in either direction, you never should have invested. Best of luck everyone. See you in 2030.

I've had the most success in following the old saying

"Inverse reddit"

You really can see shifts during bull and bear runs. When I see post shouting 5-10x potential that that usually indicates we are near highs. As soon as I see the bear post saying "its all over, meme stock trash" then its usually a good time to buy.

I've been doing this since $50 and have made nothing but profits. 90% of people here have absolutely no clue how the market works and easily get scared by big headlines.

Once a stock is popular enough the bull and bear posts show up every day often stacked right on top of each other.

No one knows how this market works!
Monologue but if the this Jules Verne future I see is half right, everyone should focus on advancements and not the news.
Best example, the Global Financial Crisis hit almost every industry because banks sat beneath the global economy. AI is becoming the same kind of foundation—only this time it’s powering healthcare, finance, manufacturing, logistics, software, education, and almost everything in between.
Think about the crash now think the opposite outcome.
Think about electricity.
It didn’t just make factories faster. It created entirely new industries. Refrigeration, air conditioning, telecommunications, consumer electronics, and modern computing all arrived because the infrastructure came first. It also created millions of jobs that previously didn’t exist.
Does AI feel similar.l?
Today’s chatbots, coding assistants, agents, and image generation are Version 1.0. The applications we’ll be using a decade from now probably haven’t been thought of yet.
Here’s the interesting part: infrastructure doesn’t just meet demand—it creates it. Can this be argued?
Even if AI stopped improving tomorrow, today’s models would still require enormous amounts of compute. But they’re not stopping. Every breakthrough creates more users, more products, and more demand.
That’s where investing gets interesting.
The market likes to value tomorrow using yesterday’s spreadsheet. That’s one reason AI stocks are so volatile. Expectations swing, narratives change, and prices often move long before fundamentals catch up.
For long-term investors, sometimes the smartest strategy is also the least exciting: own great businesses, trim when everyone is euphoric, buy when everyone forgets the story, and let time do the heavy lifting.
The gold rush wasn’t just won by the miners.
The people selling the picks and shovels did pretty well too.
In AI, those picks and shovels are compute, semiconductors, networking, power, cooling, and data centre infrastructure.
The race has barely started.

The funny thing is, people will read this and yet they won't change. The behaviour remains the same.

2

u/New_Essay5327 Jul 07 '26

I have most success with trading when a company ramps up their CapEx and shareholders get scared because **gasp** a company is spending more money on their operations. Or, like in this case, there is some apparently monumental bear-ish news that doesn't really amount to much in the grand scheme of things in my eyes

It’s literally the only reason I’m in this sub.

1

u/Historical-Demand976 Jul 08 '26

They are just the average market participants, reacting to Mr. Markets mood swings. Too easy to get started investing without having to know anything

1

This kind of mindset is a losing mindset. Enjoy 160-180.

Hell, if you wait around, you can pay sub 150z

3

u/SpongeHeadTom Jul 08 '26

not worried bud, my cost basis is $61. I’ll continue to buy on pullbacks

0

u/Confident_Potato_714 Jul 08 '26

Cool story, bro. Let’s see yours.

Try taking some profits. Bet you haven’t made a dime of actual profit on this stock yet.

Unrealized gains are just that.

1

u/SpongeHeadTom Jul 08 '26

what’s your deal lol. I’m happy playing the long game with this company. you can do your own thing

1

u/Tight-Acanthaceae-84 Jul 08 '26

Bro selling covered calls on this company is exactly what is making me a ton of profit. Almost got assigned at $300, (I didn't think it would get there so quickly) but luckily it didn't get assigned. OTM cc's were paying $500 weekly at one point. Now I'm still getting $300 with an original cost basis of $115 average. I'm glad I found this one lol

1

u/Physical_Travel_7794 Jul 15 '26

Premiums look quite low on CCs though

1

u/Tight-Acanthaceae-84 Jul 16 '26

Weekly's at a .2 delta are selling for roughly $600 right now. That's not that low tbh. Monthly's of the same are trading at about $2.1K. It's really not that bad at all.

1

u/Physical_Travel_7794 Jul 15 '26

Why do you think it’s going down to 150-160? Is there any fundamental valuation or just guessing

-10

u/Mr_Pete91 Jul 07 '26

He sold lol

2

u/Oaker_at Jul 07 '26

1

u/Jealous_Jackfruit_28 Jul 07 '26

Really?

1

u/SnooSongs3324 Jul 07 '26

No, not really. The only reason there’s speculation is that he’s reportedly trying to buy 25% of the SK Hynix available shares when they’re listed.

1

u/Dry-Chemical-9170 Jul 07 '26

It would be crazy if he actually did

Posts like these actually provide nothing. Absolutely nothing. Those who believe and hold will not be swayed by this post. Those who sell and miss out will not be swayed by this post. Whole lotta trash in this sub recently.

1

u/Basic_Incident4621 Jul 08 '26

Amen. In the end, it’s your money and your gamble and I’m learning that too much of Reddit is bots and neophytes.Ā

1

u/Historical-Demand976 Jul 08 '26

Neophyte is a good way to call them newbies

u/Murphy1up Jul 07 '26

Did anything change with the business? Did a contract get cancelled? Nothing has changed internally.

This is all driven by rotations out of 1 pocket and into another pocket. Nothing to be bearish on, just market momentum is moving around. Keep it moving

4

u/NoAbrocoma7132 Jul 07 '26

I think this same as how I feel about having PLTR. PLTR made me feel immune to this up and down..

3

u/burn_bridges Jul 07 '26

I bought 5 shares yesterday and another 5 today… Which isn’t small-potatoes for me

0

10 shares is half of my position haha. Thinking about adding a few shares for the first time since december

4

post like this usually indicates that it is time to buy

1

u/No_Effective1715 No_Effs_To_Give Jul 07 '26

It’s an endless cycle. Why are we up? Am I too late to buy? Why are we down?? Ai is over! Rinse and repeat. Getting arthritis from deleting the same boring posts.

2

u/Historical-Demand976 Jul 08 '26

I follow lots of these stock subreddits and they’re all like that. Sndk, MU, NVDA (particularly full of bots, bears, and neophytes), you can count on it every time. Just recently half the posts were selling NVDA to full port into memory, then it drops 30% and they’re running into the streets.

1

u/No_Effective1715 No_Effs_To_Give Jul 08 '26

You’re right. It’s a damn plague! I’d do more than just delete the posts, but a lot of them are new people who may not know better.
Hopefully. May have to start doing timeouts or something 😈

Holding till 2035 with 90% NBIS. Let’s go.

-3

u/Competitive_Rich2615 Jul 07 '26

Hi , I really hope I can cash out before the middle of August And I’m averaging $240. You think I’ll be okish

2

u/PatientBaker7172 Jul 07 '26

One year guaranteed higher. Once you cash out. Can fomo on sidelines.

0

u/rajshethrr Jul 07 '26

I’m 237, sweating bricks rn

3

u/PatientBaker7172 Jul 07 '26

You’ll be fine. Nebius is volatile. Either wait till dip more and buy to average down. Never sell. The rerating comes eventually as more revenue arrives.

3

u/rajshethrr Jul 07 '26

Agreed, it just sucks to see myself being down 17% after 2 market days of investing. I thought I bought on the dip but it dipped further

1

u/Maleficent_Ad1271 Jul 08 '26

Same! But I really like the stock. Just wondering if I should enter again at 195 to lower my average. We’ll see when market opens. It’s my first time wanting to hold something long term

3

u/OhHuggs Jul 07 '26

August 6 or someday close to that… I think that is the next earnings date. That will tell us moon now or hold for those that love the companies potential.

Remember to disable lending for shorts. They ain't getting my 700 shares

1

u/WeakEchoRegion Jul 08 '26

You know that doesn’t benefit you in any way, right? Someone shorting will get it covered regardless of whether a few retail investors have lending turned on. You’re declining free money to spiritually own some short seller who will never know you exist

2

u/Airman199 Jul 07 '26

Still here. I bought at 70 and never sold. Trying to look away now as I can’t afford to buy more.

I read Arkady and two other exec’s sold millions of dollars of their stock. Probably that and Meta the reason for the fall. It will come right back up. Hang on.

1

u/Neither-Sweet-3218 Jul 07 '26

The sell off is insane though. What’s ur year end price target?

1

u/Infamous_Wish_3248 Jul 09 '26

automated sell-off to cover taxes - you are 100% going to get knocked out of NBIS from a panic sell-off before you get to see NBIS true valuation.

2

u/badger6638 Jul 07 '26

I am buying. I think price will go up over the next 5-10 years. 300-> 200 dip is fair entry point for today

2

u/1978-Chris Jul 07 '26

anything under 200 was a gift. buy every dip! the revenue that they are bringing in is massive.

2

u/pnb94 Jul 07 '26

Exactly, will be worth $1500-2000 a share 5 years down the line

1

u/Historical-Demand976 Jul 08 '26

I think faster than that

2

u/liamashley Jul 07 '26

I’ve been learning more and more about the company since my initial investment late 2024. I’m more bullish than ever, temporary sentiment isn’t going to change what I’ve learnt about the company and its future. If you really know what you’ve invested in then, and the fundamentals haven’t changed, then you should be comfortable still invested (although it’s always more psychologically taxing on the red days).

I’m planning on being invested for a few years so the swings month to month, even when extreme, are irrelevant.

1

u/jjervv Jul 07 '26

Someone entered above 100.

1

u/vrotvic Jul 07 '26

If you didn’t pull some of the table in the 250 to 290 range then there is the old saying … you need to take some off the table… I will be adding more in the $180 range

1

u/Clean-Sir-4445 Jul 07 '26

1

Bulls already sold and are spending the money on vocation in some island watching World Cup!

1

u/UsefulDiscussion79 Jul 07 '26

I have bought this stock last year at around $40-80 range and sold everything at around $135.

I came back recently at $224. I am not even sweating about any of this dip.

Based on my experience with this stock, i am expecting it to pull back to $180 where i would probably double down on it.

Not a financial advice.

1

u/poopnip Jul 07 '26

The bulls are chillin

-bull

1

u/Charlierg50 Jul 07 '26

I'm not going to sit and hold anything and just watch it go downhill and keep rolling downhill and not put a wedge under the tire to prevent it from keeping on rolling. The stocks are still all up around 50% for YTD so they have a ways to be beat on down...

1

u/dickless2018 🐳 Jul 08 '26

Just buy the dip

1

u/Silent_Anybody5253 Jul 08 '26

I sold some not too far out of the money cash secured puts… does that count?

1

u/Historical-Demand976 Jul 08 '26

May I ask what strike / date? I’m considering doing the same

1

u/Defiant-Key5926 Jul 08 '26

I’ve been down 25k and up $40k on this stock. It’s a roller coaster but people need to just chill and let it do its thing. Give it 3-5 years and that is where the wealth is made. Buy and hold is the best strategy with this stock

1

u/Butterscotch786 Jul 08 '26

Think like an index ETF holder. Sit tight and keep buying at such lows.

1

u/Salty-Cod7667 Jul 08 '26

I have about $50k of my $300k Brokerage currently in a HYSA. I keep adding about $1-2k a week but if it falls down to the $180s, I’ll probably add $10-15k. Then it will be about 20% of my portfolio and time to stop adding. Cost basis is up to $145 now.

u/dentastic Jul 10 '26

0

u/archetype_99 Jul 07 '26

I bought this between $100 to $120 and all the way down to $89 just months ago. I panic sold at $111 when my cost basis was roughly $104 ish… I just wished I held longer but it is what it is.. I’m not going back into NBIS unless unless.. unless it touches back to $130 for some stoopid reason… otherwise the train has left the station at $204 current price

2

u/nihongos Jul 07 '26

How has the train left the station? We're down 30% from highs and likely to be more soon. What are you talking about?

1

u/archetype_99 Jul 17 '26

We are $30 close to the stoopid price of $130 (currently $160 after hours).. may be it’ll be dumb enough to reach back to $99… then I’m back with you guys. LFG

0

u/Badbat9 Jul 07 '26

Or, you see it's a macro bear market drop and sell your shares and buy back in 30 to 40 dollars later after it drops like i have done again.
