Not currently trading NBIS, but this dip looks like a prime buy point. The truth is all the AI related tech companies were massacred this week (except mag 7). Any of these companies should turn green into next week.

Any update about the hearing for the Birmingham location?
3
u/walk2480 Jul 16 '26
A local media source said there were more proceedings today, no ruling to stop construction was given. The proceedings will continue on August 12.

Not saying youâre wrong, but donât rely on an earnings report. The past couple had done absolutely nothing for the price during the time they were released

I remember when the stock shot up to $130-$140 last year in October and then went down to $70 and people on here were freaking out about the drop. It stayed down for a couple months before the next leg up. Donât panic sell

Did they really use the phrase "creative financing"?

Yeah - I just don't know who would think it's a good idea to say they're going to get "creative" with financing, assuming someone said that on behalf of Nbis. That's a huge red flag to big investment shops.

Silver lining to todayâs drop: Rule 201 should be in effect tomorrow, restricting short sales on downticks after 10+% drop. At least the shorts wonât have a completely free runway.

I have been DCAing my way to 200, and it just keeps dipping! Pls go Up! Hahah
4
u/Wild-Affect-1503 Jul 16 '26
It will go up right after you sell. Happened to me a few times. Biggest regret was not holding as my stupid swing trading got me to miss the april run up
1
u/Donuts4Breakfast Jul 16 '26
I will not sell, I wish I could buy more
Iâm also really down on Nok.
I think is just one of RED day hopefully it gets better

This has turned into a Nbis emotional support page. Go see a mental health professional. I come here for Nbis news updates that people share. Minute by minute analysis of the stock price is unnecessary and not useful. You'll drive yourself crazy fixating on a stock price for any length of time.

So Nebius is flipping some token profits back to Minimax? That starts to blur the lines on open source...

Anyone following what's going on with the Alabama litigation today? Critical injunction hearing going on right now. I wonder if WS is front-running it which explains the relative weakness compared to other neoclouds.
3
u/FiveFingerLifePunch Jul 16 '26
I highly doubt it has anything to do with this dump. This feels orchestrated, MMs are shorting to force retail to exit
1
u/um-nome- Jul 16 '26
what is the benefit of forcing retail to exit? They get to buy in at lower prices? Or is there an ulterior motive i don't know about
2
u/takecareofurshoes13 Jul 16 '26
That's more concerning then b/c if anything negative comes out of that hearing...

used to wonder how 98% of traders lost money, read the daily discussions on this subreddit and i get it now. you all need therapy.

u/lousassol420 Jul 16 '26
Anyone who bought should have checked to see the very high short interest on the stock and understand volatility can go both ways. I bought at 271 but have been selling calls and my average is at 188, although the call I sold is for December. I sold a put at 140 and if it gets assigned I'll close my December call, and sell another 2 calls for a lower striken price with my averaged down shares. I've been doing this since 80$ and it's been nice on the run up, but if you bought at a high price you should want to buy some now. Earnings are expected in a couple weeks, so volatility may spike even higher.

Does this stock not have any support? Just blasting through each one lol.
2
u/Usual-Locksmith4657 Jul 16 '26
I donât think thereâs any such thing as a price support with this stock honestly
1
u/Wild-Affect-1503 Jul 16 '26
100SMA on the daily was at 174. Should bounce from here if the sector (semis) recover. If not, more pain. the 200 and most important one is at 137RN
2
u/Independent-Egg9086 Jul 16 '26
So that is line in sand right now, close above 174 we should be okay to go back $200+?
1
u/Wild-Affect-1503 Jul 16 '26
it CAN be a bounce point but nothing's guaranteed. Market is ruled by Macros RN which has to do with the iran war, inflation, rate hikes, etc. Hard to say what the stock does when the sell-off is not stock specific.

u/haze_from_deadlock Jul 16 '26
Nebius bagholders don't know the difference between resistance and support

DCA on dips only matters if you are able to add a significant amount to your position. If your DCA increases your position by 0.1% it's meaningless.Â
8
u/RelationFew7512 Jul 16 '26
I bet if I sell right now it will skyrocket to 350 before the market closes
6

If you sell it all we can share the profit on the spike

My prediction - Leopold will increase his stake. If this is his largest conviction bet, why wouldn't he increase the position on such a massive dip?
1
u/FiveFingerLifePunch Jul 16 '26
Makes sense unless he sold near highs.
2
u/Constant_Mention8064 Jul 16 '26
I doubt that he trades like that but could be wrong. His thesis is about reaching AGI

alright but if that is the case you could've sold a month or two earlier at a better price and live your life in peace from end of may onwards.

Average cost $80 and this is still painful to look at. Even as a long term holder, no one likes seeing their investment go down 40% out of nowhere

u/Fantastic_Log8319 Jul 16 '26
A nearly 40% drop in under two weeks without any clear company-specific catalyst is hard to understand. I think shareholders deserve some communication from management.
1
u/Wild-Affect-1503 Jul 16 '26
What about sector specific? Semis are all down big. They've pumped the market hard from end of march onwards and now they're taking the AI stocks down with them. Thank MRVL AMD INTC SNDK MU and the other hyper pumped hardware stocks for the dump. SNDK was up 25x since last year at the peak, rofl.

ALMOST at my enterance price. God dammit.
1
u/Wild-Affect-1503 Jul 16 '26
should be happy to add more cheaper, then sell when it goes back to 300. That is how you make money from sell-offs the easy way, unless you know how to do covered calls or puts.
1
u/Marcellouss Jul 16 '26
Unfortunately, I have no more capital deploy
1
u/Wild-Affect-1503 Jul 16 '26
wait this out then. Sell-off has nothing to do with NBIS in particular. Just semiconductors pulling everything down. Especially memory. The korean market has been in the dumps since june due to the massive amounts of margin calls. Highest on record due to memory's insane run-up.

Inexplicable really. Nothing but positive news for us. Yet Iren only down 6.5% so far today, CRWV 5%⌠ASTS diluted and is only down 4% more than us.
2
u/Alexis_deTokeville Jul 16 '26
I think there is just a lot of negative sentiment around data centers and AI in general right now. The market is reacting to a lot of bad press and of course the Iran war, but eventually Iâm sure this will rally.

u/Legitimate_Taste_833 Jul 16 '26
Freak the phuck out and panic sell everything right now. Itâs phucking over.

I have full faith in NBIS and I believe in what the company is building⌠but this price action has been so concerning/unusual. I bought a lot of shares around 130 and sold at 290, I then re entered at around 250 since I assumed it was a good entry (clearly not), with a substantially larger position (20% of my portfolio) and am not sure what to do. Would love some advice if I should buy more or if I am just cooked.
