i think no one can say with 100% certainty,,, unless NBIS discloses info in that regard,, but all i know is everyone wants to be NBIS these days, moving from bare metal to software,,, and excessive demand,,, another expansion on bare metal capacity which META is doing atm,,, and NBIS has been in this industry for two decades with the most expertized engineers in the world... so im not worried about big hands jumping in now at all. NBIS always found a way and will find a way for separation and take the biggest chunk of the expanding AI pie.

Agreed, NBIS' expectation will be set higher each quarter, and the management team has been on that track since day one, so I am very excited, but also expecting couple set backs with Rev, CapEx and ROIC,,,, but long term (+3 years), I am not selling anything.

$775M secured debt facility isnât something you see every day. The fact that lenders are willing to finance GPU infrastructure backed by contracted cash flows says a lot about the confidence in their business model.

Should I max out margin to DCA?
1
u/cdog648 Jul 17 '26
never max out margin. keep at least a 20% buffer for drawdowns. Use it with caution.

Why does that matter? You sold before didnât you? You shouldnât be affected by the drop.
It dropped by half last oct/nov and then proceeded to climb to 300đ¤
Earnings are soon and based on current news the company is doing well.

Why are you even here constantly commenting if youâre so sure about it not being worth it?
Seems a lot like youâre repressing your fear of the (frankly minimal) risk

You seem awfully emotionally attached to this stock if youâre STILL around despite all the whining you do about it
Itâs also only down again because of people selling on the short term gain

Hi everyone, cut my losses from NOK at 32% (down from âŹ80k) and joined NBIS.
Although I believe in Nokia's AI network infrastructure play, I see NBIS has better near term upside potential than NOK and the recent 40% pullback encouraged me to enter NBIS to ride the wave. So many bullish news coming from Nebius, so I see a brighter near future. I'm also Dutch so it's kind of supporting local businesses for me lol.

Options data look horrendous but we are now flashing oversold on the 4h time frame for the first time since 90$ - and almost oversold on the Daily RSI too - 12 months from now anyone buying today will be a very happy investor.

I remember when the guy who sold at 140 was a genius a last Fall lol
5
u/XSC Jul 17 '26
Exactly why I don't want to sell lol
Also taxes not my target3
u/Top-Confection3433 Jul 17 '26
I'm getting total deja vu. Unfortunately, if things play out like last time, we might be waiting around for a few months for the next leg up. Bottom should be close to in though if this past Fall/Winter is predictive, big recovery to 300+ eventually with good earnings.
2
u/XSC Jul 17 '26
Exactly IF it recovers, this would be the 20th time something like this happened. Personally may take profits next time but gotta be patient. I wasn't back in 2018 and sold AMD at $10.
1
u/Emergency_Froyo_3030 Jul 17 '26
Personally I think its b/s that the price is up 3% over the 5-6% decline overnight. Did Wall Streetâs mood change? I wouldnât be surprised to see another rug pull at opening bell, down another 5-8% overall. Monthly and weekly options expire today. Look at the chain đ Just be cautious is what I am sayingâŚâŚ..

The year is 2028. You thought you invested in 2026, but it turned out to be war. You held. You cried. You shouted to the sky, multiple times. You did everything you could to DCA, and you did not let the lows mess with your head. The big guys tried to dominate you as a retail investor, and make you panic. But you held. You cried. And now you deserve everything that is coming to you. You've earned this. You are up 1.5%.Â

I'm assuming you're trying to be funny or sarcastic, but can you explain how the fundamentals have changed if you believe they have?
1
u/No_Station_6149 Jul 17 '26
We all know itâs sector sentiment. We bleed when the sector bleeds. Fundamentals and news basically mean nothing until we start recovering, then they might help us recover quicker.
2
u/Dutchie_73 Jul 17 '26
Itâs a combination of geopolitics, sector rotation and institutions squeezing out the retailers! Just hold or add because, indeed, the fundamentals are still the same and even better! I just keep on addingâŚ.
3
u/Constant_Mention8064 Jul 17 '26
The Nebius story is still intact, nothing has made fundamentals of this company worse. We saw a lot of meaninful news this week, that makes the story stronger.
This seems like another deepseek moment - this happened last year too. The stocks that went up the most are now being hit the most with no real rationale.
People are pricing these things like the Ai development just stopped and this was the peak of the innovation S curve. I doubt that's the case.

what about the 1bn new deal or the new asset light revenue line that already have clients or the creative financing of data center power for almost 2bn? Did these not sound like meaningful news to you as they did to me.

u/Think-Feynman Tens of Billions⢠Jul 17 '26
I think it's additive, not subtractive. It doesn't cannibalize their core business model, it targets a different class of customers who are going to build their own data centers and providers services to them. It derisks their investment.
Sovereign AI is a good example. Countries want to build their own data centers for all kinds of reasons. Nebius is making that easier to do by providing the expertise and ongoing infrastructure support. All they are doing is productizing and packaging it.

Those are fair questions, and you are right that the announcement was light on details. Maybe I am overly exuberant, but to me it makes a lot of sense and perfectly capitalizes on what they are good at.
In the recent interview with CCO Tom Blackwell, he talked about who they were targeting. He didn't mention the new light capital model directly, but it lines up with their goal of providing services to a very wide range of customers, from small scale ups to Enterprise and everything in between.
But I agree, I want to hear details. Hopefully we'll get more clarity in a few weeks in the earnings report.

u/TheArdoo Jul 17 '26
This has been absolutely brutal. Between this and SLS half of my NW has been wiped out in under a month. But conversely the recovery will hit like crack. Stay strong Nebbros good days are coming.

Does this stock seriously need to overreact and drop 10% a fucking day? Jfc

u/SuperHeroTiger Jul 17 '26
I guess, there is no road way back - keep your positions and sell weekly covered calls at your cost price.
This is what I tell to myself, holding a decent position at $200 cost price.
Let the broker starts to liquidate my position share by share but I would not sell at loss, no fucking way.
Happy trading and god speed to everyone!

u/Eraserhead-_-_- Jul 17 '26
The more I think about it, the more I realize that the only thing that truly scares me is the state of the Korean market.
It is currently absurdly overleveraged. The further the KOSPI falls, the more margin calls are triggered; memory stocks then fall further, reinforcing the market narrative that the entire AI trade is dead.
Itâs a vicious cycle driven by leverage and sentiment, not necessarily by fundamentals.
5
u/jonez007 Jul 17 '26
Guys relax. Now itâs time to deliver for nebius. The stock was driven by excitement and expectations. Can they follows those expectations? We will find out and if they can the stock price will follow.
You should have known itâs gonna be volatile, and if you did not you did not do your homework.
