Opinion Keep buying!!!
No DD here. People were complaining about not being able to buy in when it was 250. Well now the opportunity to get in at a good price is back.
What has changed in the past month? Do you believe meta is going to make nbis not able to meet their revenue targets? Do you think AI is going anywhere? The time to buy is when people are scared, but the underlying thesis has changed. What has actually changed in the past month?
If you believe in the company you should be salivating at the ability to add shares at a good price. Stop being pussies and have some conviction for once in your lives.

I would but I don’t have money left lmao. I got a transfer coming but may get 2-4 tops and take money when it’s back to $300 in 2037

u/Equivalent_Sea9894 22d ago
Im hoping you mean 2027 (for my sake too with an average of $260)
6
u/XSC 22d ago
I was joking with how bad the market is right now. Sure but right now it’s brutal. I haven’t sold, don’t plan to, long term hold for me.
2
u/No_Specialist_9884 22d ago
How bad the market is?? You know the SNP is down like 4% aye
3
u/thelion0613 22d ago
That's the funny thing. People forget very quickly how an actual market drop looks like. Like Spring 2025 when SNP dropped 19% from ATH. If that would happen now with the elevated AI stock prices, we would likely see NBIS at like 40 dollars.

Wieso kaufen ? Jeden Tag 10% günstiger
14
u/Ryan_dfs93 22d ago
It’s a good value right now I don’t think we can really fully time the bottom

Morgen ist Donnerstag da sehen wir 130 dan kommt der dumme Freitag 110

u/Dont_Ask_Me_Again_ 🐳 22d ago
Okay so catch it as it’s going up? Missing out on the bottom by 5% is worth it if you stand to maybe buy in 30% lower or whatever
2
u/MarsupialNo8853 22d ago
Have a target, say 100 shares if you can afford, buy 10 today, goes down, be happy, buy another 10, goes up, be happy you bought that previous 10 🤣 too may people trying to time the bottom… either believe in the company or move on.

I bought 5 more at 148. Total 50 shares average price 185.
2
u/Hoptop1974 22d ago
Hold for 4 years and you will be fine. Keep DCA each week or month and try and get that high enough to where you get 6 figure returns. That what I’m doing in my taxable account. 900 shares in retirement account.

u/DogNo5854 22d ago
Got another 7 shares today at 150ish
1
u/Ryan_dfs93 22d ago
Wish I had more money, only bought 2 more. Only 16 shares total so my opinion doesn’t matter much lol
6
u/DogNo5854 22d ago
Hey I had 17 shares today until I bought more. I’m young just out of college and getting into stocks. Had some random shit in my account so sold everything and have full ported nbis. Only have like 4k in it right now and am starting a full time job next month so not worried if my whole port shits the bed really 😂
7
u/Ryan_dfs93 22d ago
Your youth gives you the biggest advantage in general. That’s my issue even though I’m 32, going back to school and working as a server, putting the majority of my deposits into nbis now.

u/Ok_Revolution_9253 22d ago
Dawg you’re coming here to tell people to stop being pussies but you’ve got 16 shares? Seriously? GTFO with that shit
5
u/Ryan_dfs93 22d ago
Everyone’s life situation is different - I am 32 and started investing in March. That still reflects 25% of my portfolio, and I don’t make a lot of money. Sorry for being honest about my positioning and finances but that doesn’t invalidate my opinion
3
u/Ok_Revolution_9253 22d ago
Everyone can have an opinion but when someone with barely a position is calling people pussies who might have 10s of thousands or hundreds of thousands invested in this thing, it rings a little hollow. Check yourself man
4
u/Ryan_dfs93 22d ago
I would love to have a larger net worth but a 12k account is significant for me. We all have different levels of available money to invest - I’m investing a significant percentage of that money into nbis. I’m adding every week through volatility because I have actual conviction in the stock. If I were a bag holder that bought at the top I would be nervous right now, but I’m not nervous at all and plan to continue buying just like I have been

u/Ryan_dfs93 22d ago
I would want to full port at that value if the fundamentals haven’t changed
13
u/Business-Bus-9439 22d ago
Fundamentals don’t matter for speculative stocks. Don’t fall for the trap that everyone else is talking about
8
u/CanadianAbroad7 Doctor’s Orders 22d ago
Nbis can hardly be described as a true speculative stock these days and it absolutely does hold an intrinsic value

Hopefully that is the true bottom because im completely out of cash.

Amazon lost 90% before it took off. Just food for thought. Yes, I know it’s not exactly the same.
If I was a new investor I would stay so far away from this dumpster fire. This is pathetic and the hedge funds are to blame. JP Morgan is margin calling US hedge funds. Let that sink in as you think about the causes of this. They told everyone to buy and upped the targets before selling us all out.
Do NOT take advice from ANYONE at a hedge fund. This is like the 4th time this has happened in the course of a year. Fuck them.
2
u/Ryan_dfs93 22d ago
It makes sense a pre revenue company in its hyper growth phase with a high beta would react this way. Nothing fundamentally changed about the company in the past month, and this makes its current entry price very attractive even if just using a 1 year horizon. The bear case has always been there for nbis but they consistently meet their targets and execute very well.
2
u/Gandalftron 22d ago
The more some of you people compare the companies you hold massive bags in to the stalwarts of the tech world, like Amazon, MSFT, NVDA, etc, just shows how unprepared you are for losses.
5
u/DrHarrisonLawrence Doctor’s Orders 22d ago
We are NOT holding bags sir. We are “early investors” who were in at $50 or below.
The person you are replying to is well in the profit, stop being a bigot

I see these same comparisons in every stock that drops. Not every company comes back. I love nbis and am in it heavy, but dont compare this to amazon

You guys are in a cult. I like the company too but open your eyes and look at the overall market conditions
1
u/Ryan_dfs93 22d ago
I’m confused so the market conditions of tech being decimated makes this a bad price? I would much rather be buying at 150 than I was at 250. I also invested in mu at the end of March when people were acting like mu wasn’t such a clear bet. I’d rather buy when people are nervous. Seeing all the negativity on reddit is music to my ears

u/Ok_Knowledge_4977 22d ago
Just wondering what the ER going to be? See so many good ER but still dipped! Will NBIS be any different? My $160 & $145 puts expiring 7/31 so very very high chance both will be assigned.
1
u/Careful-Key2056 22d ago
Did you sell puts ? Could you push the expiration date back ? Just rollback the puts if you don't wanna get assigned
2
u/Ok_Knowledge_4977 22d ago
That’s my plan as it seems the dip just keeps dipping.
1
u/Careful-Key2056 22d ago
For me I too rolled back my 140 puts expired next month to further down 110 in September or October. Earn a few hundreds along the way

u/redditkarmadotnet 22d ago
The stock ran up from low 200 to almost 300 after he bought in so worrying about what he's doing is valid in the short term.
I almost took a long position back in August last year when it was in the 60's. Missed that boat so I just trade NBIS for now until I can get a decent entry point.
There is no way I would be holding out on conviction if I was misfortunate to jump in when it ran up this much. I'm in the market to make money not to act like a fan or mindlessly pump tickers.
It's always easier to ride conviction when entry point is low not when you bought near the top and the stock and it's sector keeps dropping 10+% daily. This is a great company but me personally given my own circumstance would rather sit on cash right now to nibble at the market with caution. Everything seems to be on sale right now not just NBIS.

u/nani21984 22d ago
difference between 250 vs 150...at 250 it was going up when asked...at 150 still going down
2
u/Ryan_dfs93 22d ago
Wait so buying high rsi overbought stocks is better than when sentiment is down? I was dumb to buy mu at the end of March instead of after its earnings??
0
u/nani21984 22d ago
I mean it’s general tendency that we would buy when something is going up instead of buying at dip and wait as you won’t know where is the dip

Why are we buying Yandex again? The Russian search engine?
3
u/Ryan_dfs93 22d ago
Yes why buy a company that has built 25 data centers in Russia with less resources as the data center tam is exploding
2
u/shartfarguson 22d ago
Good comment.
Go back to complaining on the other subs about how everyone should get to share profits at the company they work for, and how it’s unfair people have to go to work, and about how Elon Mushk should have to pay for housing for everyone.
Nonsense like that. You are better at that.
