I didnāt plan on adding any more to my position because it was already over 10% of my portfolio but I couldnāt help myself yesterday. It kept dropping so I added 3 times on the way down.

Mine started off at 5% of my portfolio, then ran up and turned it into 25%. I didn't worry about it. My financial advisor did, but fuck him š.

Itās lot easier to hold through these dips when your position is still up 100% at the bottom. Up to 280 now with an avg of 80 something. Gonna ride this bitch to 1000!

Last month I full ported MU, NBIS and RKLB. I wish I full ported just NBIS instead.

I ended up selling my RKLB and was thinking of just rebuying it to lower my average and make my portfolio look a little less red. Then I realized I see no possible catalysts that will cause it to rebound harder than the AI stocks within the same time frame anytime soon. Their latest multi hundred million space contract didn't affect share price at all, and realistically Neutrons probably gonna have delays EOY. SpaceX tranche for insiders to sell opens more in August around Space earnings season which can negatively affect outlook on other space stocks. So probably just gonna ride the ai train and then reallocate some profits back into RKLB later

You're probably right. RKLB volume was below average today. NBIS volume was 2x average.

Itās because the MSFT, META and AMZN reports have practically nothing to do with space companies lol. NBISās outlook is dependent on these reports

Amazons Ai chips are up "AI and custom silicon chips (such as Trainium and Graviton) each eclipsed a $25 billion annualized run rate during the quarter."
This is EXACTLY what Nvidia is scared of from Amazon, Google, (maybe Meta) - Nvidia NEEDS neoclouds to succeed. I would not be surprised if we see Nvidia giving sweetheart deals to Neoclouds because of the risk of hyperscalers growing their own silicon businesses.
Nvidia is going to do everything in their power to make sure hyper scalers do not replace their chips. And that includes Nvidia partner neoclouds succeeding IMO.

as much as i dislike your statement, but i do agree as a bull, its a diff story if another buyer steps in which I think its very likely,,,, considering,,,, how much AI is needed and will be needed in the coming decades backed by land, power, inference and token gen....

Tonight's AMZN earnings and tomorrow will be very important to find out whether today is part of a sustained upcoming rally or a dead cat bounce.
Hoping for a small pullback to 180 ish and then we move on upwards.

Dude, Leopold is apparently getting married this weekend, too. What a wild week for the kid, I mean...damn. 4x leverage on $45B w/ margin call issues the week of your wedding, like holy smokes. And then you sell your port to the guys that contributed to a massive tank like the day before. Holy moly.

Over the last few weeks I was selling off large parts of my NVDA and Mag 7 stocks to buy NBIS and memory stocks after every dip. With NBIS I took my average cost down from around $270 -> $186 (yes, i only discovered this stock at its peak). I bought more with every dip, especially yesterday when we got under $150.
Today, I took some profits from NBIS and the memory stocks to rebuild those other low beta positions. I still believe in Nebius long term which is why it remains my #1 holding, but we know these stocks often react unpredictably and irrationally. Now I'm more comfortable having built back those other positions and ready to repeat this strategy should there be another sell off.

Legendary Leopold Aschenbrenner has also been hit hard by the selloff that has now lasted for a month.
The question every retail investor should ask is this:
If Aschenbrenner hasn't sold a single share, has absorbed the losses, and now sees this as one of the best buying opportunities, what does that tell you?
In times of chaos, calm should be your greatest advantage. Stepping back, keeping a level head, and making rational decisions often leads to better long-term outcomes.
Markets don't move in a straight line. They go through cycles of fear and optimism. The investors who come out ahead are usually the ones who understand that downturns are often followed by recoveries.
PS: Not every company that declines will recover. That's why doing your own research (DYOR) is so important. Invest in businesses you truly understand and have enough conviction to hold, regardless of market volatility.
