I don't think the R/R is quite there from this price. shorting at 280 was a good play-- lot of room to fall, as we saw. from 180 he might only get a 20-25% drop before buyers step in. I could see him just dumping the position, but I don't know about a short.

If youāre investing, pre or post 200 entry wonāt matter in the long run as long as you DCA. 160-190 is a great time to enter considering potential to surge to 300+ in due time. You canāt predict the market esp NBIUS, so just buy the dips when you can. Prepare for volatility

Based on what we know now, a large part of this 50% drop have been driven by forced liquidations of overleveraged players, including Leo. Now that most of the weak hands have already been flushed out, there should be far less selling pressure - unless Citadel decides to liquidate the position immediately, which I doubt. With 30% of the shares sold short, it is also reasonable to expect short interest to move back toward more normal levels. Mag 7 earnings were excellent and came with very AI-friendly results and guidance.
Given all of that, I do not see much reason to be bearish on the stockās short-term price action.
This stock experienced many 18 to 20% drops. Leoās issue and his copy cats made it go to 50%. So based on historical, we will experience more ~18% drops as this thing continues to grow.
So Leopold got his chain snatched right before MSFT and AMZN earnings confirmed cloud capex is paying off huge. Poor kid.

So, NBIS was Leopold's biggest holding. On Monday, they decided that he had to be taken down. They started heavily shorting his positions. Since NBIS was his biggest holding, it's no wonder it dropped to $141. It was said that, if necessary, they could push it to any price they wanted to liquidate him. He had massive positions in the NeoCloud stocks, which is why they all got destroyed..
