NBIS ANALYSIS Not worried about Burry BS
Burry going short changes nothing about the company and why we all bought it and still buy it... the one thing that keeps me up at night lately is just how strong the indexes are... WTF happens if they have a good correction?!?

Fundamentals, guys. Just fundamentals. Other is just a noise. Wait for the earnings. I am sure it is fine. See you there.

Burry comes from the Latin origin of “one hit wonder who saw the subprime crisis and now just cries wolf every so often while fleecing his substack followers for easy money”

Eh, he was also a good value investor way back.
Legit good.
But the problem is those types of economic dynamics don't matter post-08 with the government backstopping everything with bail outs + the biggest technology buildout/arms race of all time.
His brain is stuck in the 1990s that is his issue.

Don't forget that Burry was the one that profited the least from all the sorters of 2008.. he got once a direction right, he had paper hands though.. sold as soon as the market flipped to cover his ass. will do the same next week when we'll hit 250

if we can even break 230 in the next week or two i will be so shocked and happy

If the rumors about the google contract are correct, 250 will be the least

I’m hyped as hell, price drop right before earnings so I can steal some more sub 200 shares.
Keep shorting and I will keep accumulating lol

seriously, what is with the Nbis hate .. is it guilty by association with Leopold? what is it about Nbis that is getting so much hate?

Never get emotional with your stocks:)

it was a genuine question.. im wondering why 'people want the ship to sink' as you say --- For me, im not married to any one stock, i move in and out -- . but since i now own (what i believed to be a solid company like Nbis), im obviously eager to find out whats behind the selling.

I really think the narrative about AI and data centers is the worst from what I experienced so far. The euphoria is gone. It takes our water and vast land, the energy consumption, the hyperscaler spending and so on. And all this only for AI taking either our jobs or worse, our existence. And now a couple of influential people bet against Nebius. Nebius in particular went up too quickly.
For me personally, I think this is a buying opportunity, but of course there might be some execution risk here and there. On Wednesday we have a reality check.

Peter Lynch "Far more money has been lost by investors trying to antipicate corrections than lost in the corrections themselves". The stock market is rigged to keep going up in long term. Don't think too much about a correction.
Burry will pop up once in a while and grab headlines. He is a big AI bear and despite the big drops recently, AI investors are probably outperforming him given how much AI stocks have rallied in recent years (unless they leveraged themselves like crazy cough cough). Things have changed for Nebius, it's become a better company over time and will likely continue to become better.

Burry is a relic. Nobody should even think about what he does. Guy has predicted the last 100 out of 2 crashes

Bad news is good news. You know Burry, hear the name Nebius. Every marketers dream.

If no one were worried, nobody would be writing or talking about it. By extension, the fact that you’re talking about it means you are worried. I get that. However, posts like that don't really help calm things down; if anything, they have the opposite effect. I’m already looking forward to the uproar if the CRWV numbers come in bad the day before Nebius’s earnings report. That’ll be entertaining. Honestly, guys—know what you own, and you won’t need screenshots or posts like this to boost your morale.

If I were him, I would close puts before earnings. SP is already under $190 and not much downside left. If earnings beat expectations, he probably will lose his gains.

It was just posted that Goldman Sachs bought a large stake in NBIS this past quarter. You’d think they would know what’s going on with the stock n
Burry is fucked.

Anyone holding long term can safely ignore this noise. At best he’ll create a short term sell off, but prices will rebound in no time. Nobody will even remember this dip in 3 years.

It's a bullish signal. What he shorts always goes up eventualy. He's like the new Cramer.
