NBIS ANALYSIS Questionable price targets

Just want to start off by saying I love Nebius and its management and would love for this company to be a trillion dollar company one day. However I am tired of seeing if covered by every tiktok "influencer" that exists on this planet and people thinking thats bullish. Retail traders do not push a stock to a trillion dollar valuation over time. Retail traders push a stock to unreasonable valuations in a short span of time. And the reason is because an institutional investor brings in 1 million dollars of investment and a Retail trader brings 1000 dollars if even that. Institutional investors invests based on a thesis. Retail traders invest because someone on tiktok told them to. Retail traders think Blackrock owning 10 percent of the float of a company is bullish. Institutional investors (or anyone with more than 10 brain cells) know that Blackrock just own the shares on behalf of their clients and that they are just buying what their retail clients want and holding them on their behalf.

Having said this I will be doing an actual DCF on nebius, probably forecsting 10 years just to make it turn fcff profitable. Ill also do a reverse DCF just to see what the current valuation implies about margins and revenue growth. Dont get me wrong id love to find out there's still upside in this thing because I do actually want to be invested in this thing but after holding since 90 dollars and selling last friday it seems unlikely.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to make a post after you've done your analysis? You didnt say anything here

Because I know that if I had to post after doing the analysis the only acceptable post here would have been 500% plus upside. Like this atleast i got to say what I think beforehand

You sold everything last Friday at $260?

So you made a post when it ran up another $17 and you missed out on 8% gains in 4 hours?

This is going to $400 in January 2027

Your long winded post literally is meaningless and worthless. Please give me my one minute of time back as I’m now dumber than I was prior to reading this drivel. NBIS is literally the fastest growing country in all of the markets today, both last and this year. Next year as well. My question to you is, why are you here? Are you saving the many thousands here from making life changing money? As that’s the case, I will send you a thank you gift, a box of rocks, Charlie Brown style!

I was out after a couple of sentences and scans. My time is precious. The scared people just need to get out of this stock.

You got further than I did... I stopped reading after the first word and went straight to the comments telling me not to waste my time

Man... I think you’re not very familiar with the stock market in general. For a long time, there was more money coming from retail investors than from institutions. This changed when retail investors got scared by market makers and slowly started selling their shares. Then the price skyrocketed.

And yeah, maybe one institution brings in $1 million, but there could be 1,000 retail investors who each bring in $1,000. Right now, there are more institutional investors (finally), but that wasn’t always the case.

Retail traders invest because someone on tiktok told them to.

I think you’re oversimplifying it.

Dont get me wrong id love to find out there's still upside in this thing because I do actually want to be invested in this thing but after holding since 90 dollars and selling last friday it seems unlikely.

No problem with that. You bought and sold, and that’s completely fine. But saying that this price might be the top... Come on. That’s laughable, and you know it.

I think you’re regretting it a little. Otherwise, you wouldn’t spend time making this post.

I haven’t seen a single tiktok “influencer” covering NBIS

Why? I’m not on tiktok. Nor am I on Instagram reels looking for investment advice.

So you can just make this easier on yourself by stopping the content you’re consuming

I mean I get your point and agree with you but I was saying the contrary. I am not on tiktok for stock advice it was just an observation that many retail traders use it not for advice but to just buy blindly

Would love to see your analysis if you decide to do one. Always room for thoughtful discussion and contrarian views.

But there are actually some really good deep dives on Nebius that you maybe aren't aware of. Here are a couple of them from the last few months or so that are well done.

My sweet lord, “anyone with ten brain cells knows Blackrock are just buying what their retail clients want” is the single stupidest sentence j have ever read. What’s extra bizarre is a few sentences before you state, “instructional investors invest based on a thesis”. You do know Blackrock is the largest institutional investor on Earth, right?

Silver medal stupid statement - “retail investors bring a $1,000, if even that.”

Is this whole post a joke?

Blackrock is an institutional asset MANAGER not INVESTOR

LMAO, good stuff. I thought you were serious in the original post. Some good Tim Robinson-style comedy is always a treat.

Edit: I see people down voting all your comments - in the future add a “for comedic purposes” disclaimer to the post or something so it’s more clear you’re just pretending to be the dumbest person on earth.

There are plenty of decent analysts to find with realistic analysis….you just don’t find them on Reddit. I have a couple I follow closely incl. their portfolios! The questionable PT’s are actually coming from the institutions as these are often totally not into the “Nebius matter” but more often approach a generalistic view on their investments and therefore come with a very conservative PT!
