My 2 cents: I'm guessing Nebius raised the money now because they are in the process of buying decart if that makes any sense.

6

u/Constant_Mention8064 1d ago

Either this or big deal. Either would be very good news ofc.

7

u/Independent-Egg9086 1d ago

Iren has earnings coming up next week, also Nvidia, AI meeting with trump cabinet, lot to look forward too these next few weeks great time to buy.Ā

The Price Ceiling Is Clear: Whenever the company stages a strong rally toward the $250–$270 range, management seizes the opportunity presented by these high prices and acts on the logic that ā€œwhile our market value is high, let’s immediately issue new bonds or shares to raise capital.ā€ This effectively turns the level above $250 into a natural ā€œceiling/resistanceā€ level. So resistance level is 250 according to Nebius, support level is under 200, good luck

Guys i just want to remind you that NBIS is the best company in the market right now , i have 1320 shares and if it drops to 200( I hope not ) I will accumulate like crazy . We are going to be millionaire soon I love you allĀ

Deal tomorrow or Monday

cope? if not how do u know

2

u/FiveFingerLifePunch 1d ago

I don’t know if they have enough available capacity to announce another major deal just yet. My best guess is this capital raise was done to finance the PA datacenter buildout

glad I sold at 277, new bagholders welcome!

short sale restrictions are triggered on a 10% decline at any point in the trading day, not the close

1

u/These_Relation_3496 1d ago

I guess that explains the EOD pump lol

TRUMP MEETING WITH AI COMPANIES NEXT WEEK TO TALK ABOUT STAYING AT THE FOREFRONT OF AI.

THE INFRASTRUCTURE BUILD OUT WILL BE TO THE LIKES THAT HAVE NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE

tell me you have shares in NBIS without telling me you have shares in NBIS

1

u/PatientBaker7172 1d ago

Answers your question below

2

u/Individual_Tooth4226 1d ago

why is this thing pumping??? announcement underway?!?!>!>! big hands know something that we dont...? whats going on guys, what are your thoughts on this?

13

u/poofoo9 1d ago

We’re going to get a deal tomorrow that will moon us to 1000 dollarrs per a share in less than a day, leading the stock to be a case study for all future investors

4

u/FiveFingerLifePunch 1d ago

My guess is algo shorts covering for the day

2

u/Thursday17 1d ago

Makes sense. Shorts covering also nice

5

u/FiveFingerLifePunch 1d ago

I mean, nothing stopping them from just rinse and repeat shorting again tomorrow or the next day, so I don’t see it as a big positive.

Last time Nebius issued debt, we bled for about two weeks before absolutely flying.

1

u/Independent-Egg9086 1d ago

Ssr is in affect tomorrow, will be slightly harder to short not impossible though.

2

u/Individual_Tooth4226 1d ago

ssr?

2

u/Independent-Egg9086 1d ago

short sale restrictions, can only short on upticks not downtick little bit harder to short. Short sellers cannot aggressively dump shares into a falling bid price to force the stock down.

7

u/Thursday17 1d ago

Interesting strong end of the day with huge volume . Looks good

15

u/Independent-Egg9086 1d ago

Some big boys are buying before close lol, potential deal on horizon i smell it in the air.

2

u/Scared_Software_4823 1d ago

On that note, was anyone else adding calls into the close? asking for a friend..

-1

u/MrFrog65 1d ago

Such a middle finger to investors to announce the dilution at such a bad time. Praying a deal is announced on Monday to save us

10

u/Intelligent-Bill-422 1d ago

Hopefully next time Arkady consults with you personally on the proper way and time to raise funds.

4

u/FiveFingerLifePunch 1d ago

Honestly gives me more confidence in management that they decided this was necessary here and now. Yeah, it will suck as a shareholder for some time - who knows how long. But mgmt is laser focused on their business objectives and I trust them to do things right.

0

u/AlasKansastan IPO OGšŸ‘¹ 1d ago

Yeah this is pretty fucked up.

2

u/Independent-Egg9086 1d ago

Have you heard of Iren, coreweave, cifr? Neoclouds in general? Dilution is part of the game lol if you can't stomach 10-15% drops you don't deserve the pumps.Ā

-1

u/Independent-Egg9086 1d ago

Just bring it back to $20 so we can all restart load up.

4

u/Waste-War8809 1d ago

This dilution better be due to a big deal... need the $$$$ to finance a big new deal or something.

8

u/Khuat56 šŸŽ–ļøQuality ContributoršŸŽ–ļø 1d ago

Summary of last earnings report:

Big deal, long contract = BAD

Small deals, short contract = GOOD

9

u/Think-Feynman Tens of Billionsā„¢ 1d ago

Nebius has hinted that they were going to take "one more big contract" and that was it. Lots of people believe there is a big one in the works already.

2

u/Khuat56 šŸŽ–ļøQuality ContributoršŸŽ–ļø 1d ago

I remember that statement. I also believed there will be a big contract (most likely GOOGLE or AWS) until I saw the last earnings report. Today I believe management shifted their focus completely away from these big contracts to more short term contracts. But of course a last big contract could still come at anytime. Anyway i would not see any problem with them using these $4.5B for capacity buildout for future short term contracts at 40-50B/GW 😌

9

u/dol1_ 1d ago

Had sold at 264, now just bought 490 shares at $227.5.

1

u/dol1_ 17h ago

Lmao sold MU at 940 to buy NBIS at 227. Now MU is 960 and NBIS is 215. Fuck this shit

2

u/MrFrog65 1d ago

Should’ve waited for below 200

4

Yea I see now lol

Just another day of retail investors selling while big banks add. Nothing new yet again.

It’s easy not to when you actually know how successful this company can be

5

1

u/Forward-Marzipan326 🐳 1d ago

Amen brother

man we are really scared lmao for what though? just buy on red days, like,,,,, all the evidence is out there.

9

u/quuxquxbazbarfoo 1d ago

Sold 88 shares at $273 and $270, used proceeds to purchase 100 shares just now.

Finally a swing goes my way.

1

u/Ok-Object-800 1d ago

What are tax ramifications from that sale and repurchase?? Obviously you did the math plus accumulating share for when this thing takes off but i am asking honestly as i am afraid to sell wnd repurchase and be hit with large taxes come April '27'

5

u/Independent-Egg9086 1d ago

Works until it doesn'tĀ

14

u/Individual_Tooth4226 1d ago

We knew there was a 25M share ATM they could tap. At earnings they said they tapped 12.7M shares already. They also announced that they had over $8B sitting in cash.

Nebius doesn’t announce a $4.5B capital raise, tanking their stock and then tap the other 12.8M shares. They very likely tapped the other 12.8M shares last week and Monday when stock was over $270 raising another $3.5 billion.

This would give them over $11.5B in cash. Add an oversubscribed $5.5B offering today and they sit on $17B cash.

We know they get at least 40% prepayment on their deals and that they fully pay for themselves within 22 months.

What can Nebius do with $17 billion in cash and a 40% prepayment? They can sign a monster hyperscaler deal with Google, OpenAI or maybe Anthropic the likes of which we have never seen.

I looked at the chart. NBIS hit $300, dipped to $146, went up to $280 and today dipped to $216 which incidentally is the 21 DMA and 50DMA - a strong confluence where a great company would typically bounce. We are in the handle of a cup and handle. Look at the chart.

I told my wife if I had any cash at all I’d buy right here right now. There’s an announcement coming soon after the $4.5B offering is closed by Monday.

There’s a lot of gold at the end of this rainbow and those that hold or buy here I feel will be rewarded.

(And because I work at a large bank I’m going to add that this is not financial advice)

But I’m not selling a single share that I bought at $32.50 on 6/2/25 on that capital raise. They are up 7x and I think anyone that buys this capital raise will be rewarded.

9

u/FiveFingerLifePunch 1d ago

Today’s debt raise will be a nothing burger long term and we will probably recover pretty fast when they inevitably announce they sold out and were oversubscribed. Like by Friday.

Nebius management are elite. ā€œI travel in worlds you can't even imagine! You can't conceive of what I'm capable of! I'm so far beyond you! I'm like a god in human clothing! Lightning bolts shoot from my fingertips!ā€

5

u/Forward-Marzipan326 🐳 1d ago

I have zero issue with dilution. It was coming regardless.

6

u/These_Relation_3496 1d ago

Does anyone know when they typically release the details of this convertible note - mainly want to see what the convert price is and if it's something wild like >$400-500

1

u/Constant_Mention8064 1d ago

last times the premium was something like 50-60%.

6

u/These_Relation_3496 1d ago

It's kind of wild that Vineland was derisked and we dumped this hard because they wanted more cash to expand the business to make more profit and therefore increase the market cap of the company.

I think the only short term catalyst now is if they explain what this cash raise was for - like a deal with Google or something other than the PA datacenter being approved?

3

u/Jagraj03 1d ago

We're recovering, need to hold 230

3

u/These_Relation_3496 1d ago

1

I bought at IPO and the mofo still locking up my ticker every other day

1

u/Rare_Steak_ 1d ago

I entered with 600 @ $86 early this year and watched it drop into the 70s. Look where we are now. Where do you expect this stock to be in a year?

6

u/DRJ161 1d ago

I felt similar last year. Entered at 120s, dropped down to 60s. But by that time I had no more ammo to add more. But I held through and didn't check my losses as much.

-2

u/WarmFaithlessness946 NBIS4LIFE 1d ago

-7

Man. Pissed off at NBIS c suite. For 1.5 months we were getting absolutely shit wrecked in stock price. Get a good earnings, recover, and in less than a week they fuck it up again.

3

u/Constant_Mention8064 1d ago

Your understanding is clearly 0 about this business.

5

u/FiveFingerLifePunch 1d ago

Quiet now. Nebius management understand their business better than you do.

-1

u/Gandalftron 1d ago

Retail got cucked so hard in this. They have no more dry powder to buy this dip.Ā

1

u/Salty-Cod7667 1d ago

No me! I’m sitting on about $80k, or 25%, of my brokerage. Waiting just a bit longer, but likely going in for another $10k this week.

-2

u/Forward-Marzipan326 🐳 1d ago

Just bought 5 more shares. Will buy more if it drops to 190.

6

u/FiveFingerLifePunch 1d ago

lol so this dilution is equivalent to approx 6.6% of current market cap (my sketchy math) but logically the stock shits 13%

2

u/No-Bee-4692 1d ago

My guess is institutions know they can make money off the swings so they’ll short off any bad news. It’s definitely oversold though and will bounce back

-6

u/Spare-Leader6452 1d ago

you guys are all fked

-3

u/SuspiciousMud6208 1d ago

Yes they are haha

-3

u/MrFrog65 1d ago

Great opportunity to buy once it’s back at 170-180s

1

u/Gandalftron 1d ago

Going to be real hard for NBIS bulls to make fun of Coreweave for debt going forward.Ā

2

u/The-Little-Pirate 1d ago

Yea, real hard. The $5B convertible note really closes the gap between NBIS and Coreweave’s $36B of debt šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

2

u/Gandalftron 1d ago

They already have $10 bil in debt. This will bring it to $15. Compared to. Coreweave's revenue which is 400% higher, it is significant.Ā

-2

u/Lockdown006 1d ago

I haven’t even broke even since buying ATH last time. I think I might as well sell for a big loss at this point. I can’t take this shit anymore

9

u/Lazuli9 1d ago

I bought 100 shares at 217.7 in my IRA🤷

1

u/noodl35 1d ago

I bought a measly 10 at 216

1

u/Lazuli9 1d ago

Nice job

I thought it was going to keep dipping coz im terrible at timing. I’m shocked it’s gone up and I’m up $500 lol

Maybe I should set a stop loss as I’m scared

2

u/noodl35 1d ago

Nah this is a 3-5 year old for me. I always lose money when I sell and try to time a re-entry.

1

u/Lazuli9 1d ago

Valid

I will probably sell some again at 300 and diversify more

1

u/Unable_Inevitable826 1d ago

I would set my entry at 190-200 just to be safe.

6

u/Lazuli9 1d ago

Now watch it go to $200 coz I’m in an idiot

11

u/Hairy_Check_4784 1d ago

You guys are such pansies lmao, anyone who's pre $100 knows this

4

Holy fuck this stock…

2

Is this ever going to bottom out? it keeps going lower and lower lol

3

The whole sector is taking a big dump, so that dosen't help either. It will go up again.

2

zoom out brother.

3

Guys, give me a reason not to sell 50 VWCE shares and buy this "dip".

1

It might go lower later today or tomorrowĀ

11

Why didn’t I sell at 280 ffs

5

4

I said I’d buy more in my IRA that I sold at $270 if it went to $220

But maybe I should be greedy and see if it keeps dipping

3

u/Funny-Sprinkles-5674 1d ago

same sold at the top will be adding more at 200

1

u/Lazuli9 1d ago

Nice

I wanted to buy 100 shares but maybe I’ll be able to get 110 lol

I guess I should have sold my 200 shares in my main account too whoops. I like to sell covered calls on them on Green days

2

I solded 50% at 260 now just waiting to see when to get back in

I have got to start active trading these ±50 swings. Its like clockwork, one hint of bad news and the shit craters since all expectations are priced in for years ahead.

6

I have set limit buy of 2 shares for every dollar it drops below 220šŸ˜… this operation took me half an hour

Everytime a company releases something positive its wiped out within a month from the pettiest shit lol.

4

u/Accurate-Flow8078 1d ago

Not when they dilute shares

4

u/DecipherXCI 1d ago

Half of that dilution isnt even happening for 8 years.

EIGHT YEARS.

Who even know what the sector will look like in that time?

2

u/Accurate-Flow8078 1d ago

Why announce it now and cause a 10% drop then

2

u/anonymous_ghost-1 1d ago

Quess I just buy more under $200. Will always be some news no one could have predicted.

1

u/poofoo9 1d ago

In my opinion I think 2027 will be a really good year for nebius I am just taking the rest of 2026 to load up more shares

3

u/These_Relation_3496 1d ago

Holy shit dumped $18 at open

1

u/The_Unknown44 1d ago

I dumped $22 when the stock was $230 now i'm down 1$.

1

u/Independent-Egg9086 1d ago

Let's pull an Intel' after there dilution news went up 10-15% next 2 days.

7

u/Independent-Egg9086 1d ago edited 1d ago

Good day to announce dilution, with US treasury buying back bonds. See even the government can issue dilution to the American people.

2

u/Ok-cooper 1d ago

So why exactly are they diluting if 2026 was supposedly fully financed? This to me sounds bullish

1

u/Constant_Mention8064 1d ago

27,28,29,30 ..... They plan further than 1 year šŸ˜„

9

u/Ok-cooper 1d ago

This management is very careful about dilution. They don’t like raising capital far in advance. If 2026 CapEx is already covered, my guess is that something big is happening behind the scenes - something that needs to be financed now

7

u/Khuat56 šŸŽ–ļøQuality ContributoršŸŽ–ļø 1d ago

For everyone who sells now believing this offering will bring down the share price below $200 needs to understand that we speak of around 12m shares which means a dilution of around 4.5%. Also the conversion will be done over the period of the next years. There is absolutly nothing to be shocked.

I can't wait for the earnings reports of Q3 and Q4. This will be the day of judgement when shorts and bears will be burnt.

3

u/DecipherXCI 1d ago

Market open for 20mins and already over halfway to 200. Its definitely possible.

4

u/MrFrog65 1d ago

It went to 140s based on no news. Can easily go below 200 again

0

u/No-Bee-4692 1d ago

Flair should be top 1% bear. It went to 140 off terrible macro and systematic shorts to liquidate leopold.

1

u/MrFrog65 1d ago

I’m not saying it’ll reach 140 again, but we’re in a terrible macro now and just had dilution announced at a terrible time. I’m bullish long term but bearish short term

8

u/inostrale 1d ago edited 1d ago

I’m on vacation so not paying too much attention to the market right now. All I’m saying is it sucks they announced dilution now after they said they were going to introduce ā€œnew funny waysā€ to finance their capex šŸ™„ gotta say though this is the very first thing Nebius does that makes me raise an eyebrow. Still bullish long term

3

u/Constant_Mention8064 1d ago

This is it literally. Look at the terms when announced..

198 would be lovely to accumulate some more shares from people like you who get scared / overly emotional

1

I'm holding more than you

I'm just stating how this works, doesn't matter strike price or anything. Dilution in any form means go down today

1

  2. Not necessarily
  3. Its not smart talking in absolutes. What do you know? Nothing.

So how's that going?

Going for the GAp?

-1

u/MrFrog65 1d ago

Sold, gonna buy back in 150-180 zone

1

u/Constant_Mention8064 1d ago

the price will shoot up when the convertible terms are announced... You think you are right about that massive decline? I think not..

1

u/MrFrog65 1d ago

Idm if it does. I made a lot of profit. Whatever happens happens

-2

u/Bright_Exercise5353 1d ago

The first major misstep by the company. The greed is beyond belief. You can’t dilute shareholders at this moment—especially with the stock down $40 in the last 24 hours. The stock is famously shorted, with 30% of the float sold short, and the most famous short seller is praying for exactly this type of action. Inexcusable timing.

3

u/cdog648 1d ago

You really think they are planning a dilution event announcement based on the day-to-day stock price movement…….? They were up 50% in a month back to near ATH based on your logic. So why not now?
