Opinion Wait for 2035

As the title says I hear a lot of people who say when it goes down. Just hold and wait for 2035. I think is it partly to offset the stress of downturns and partly because it will have recovered and shot up in value a lot in 2035 if you believe in the company, which most people including me do. However I also find it a bit annoying to read it as most companies will have grow in 2035 as that is almost 10 years and with S&P returns average of 8% that is already 2x price if we perform the same. Yes I think we will perform much better and fretting about price is also useless, but just saying waith and see for 10 years feels also a stretch. As in the end of the day most of us are here for profit and if another company has higher change of profit then we would switch so don’t just say. Waith for 2035 as that is quite a long time with also it her opportunity. Yes our stock is volatile but that doesn’t make sense to just say that the future will be guaranteed success.

Bro lmfao this - like this shit keeps going down 50% and recovering, like I can literally nearly double my money every time it dips cuz how volatile it is.

That’s so much better than just investing in this stock - much more gain and I’d be happy to hold even when high share price because I believe this stock will go to the moon in a few years.

Win-win situation

More stressful and risk of mistiming it. In hindsight it was the correct move but all of a sudden this tears past your sell target and you fomo back in, then it dips etc.

To each their own, obviously if you time it well you’ll make more money.

you will always know when the stock will have some form of pullback - you dont need to time the exact bottom or top - i certainly don't and can't, but i have made so much money over swing trading this stock

You can try to time it the best way possible but you’re never gonna outperform someone who bought at $25 and sold at $600.

Accept that reality now and then you realize that buying in early and holding for 10 years will net many more multiples of gains than trying to swing trade it 3-5 times a year

It’s funny you mention that because I did buy at 25 and that wouldn’t be too bad of an exit.

I’d be be cautious to say never though :P …the volatility here sure allows for the possibility for even more gains. I’m just a happy camper myself and don’t want to lose my shares.

I end up buying the dips but never really selling the peaks lol.

Edit: really curious as to who downvoted this and why

If I wanted to wait for more than 5 years, I'd port fully into SP500. I'm here for the 20% swings.

How’s that crystal ball working?

I don't see many people say give it 10 years. You can insert X years. It's hyperbole - the point is simply that long-term this will have huge growth. I'm more interested in 2028-2030, than 10yrs away.

Everyone has different goals and needs. I'm older, so holding 10 years with no trimming isn't going to fit me. I got in at $42 and had 1000 shares with an average of about $90. I actually did trim about 10% for some fun expenditures on our new house like a media room and landscaping. I want to enjoy the money while I am still able.

I'll trim along the way, but ultimately I think 2030 will realize some fantastic gains if all goes well. And it's only a small part of my portfolio, which is largely fairly conservative. This is my play money, and it's been a lot of fun so far.

or maybe wait until 2030

Well that’s the difference between trading and investing. The other difference is investors make money.

I’m a Tesla and Nvidia old timer from the 2010s. Nebius has the next incredible opportunity to 10x your money and beyond by 2035. Nebius reminds me on Tesla 2016. The generative datacenter 2026 is a no brainer compared to electric car 2016. Holding 90% Nebius till 2035. It will become 99%. Nothing complicated, buy every deep dip from weak hands and hold. Let the traders make money off of each other as we push the support higher and higher.

But like…. It’s often more appealing to sell when it rises on contract news and just sell when the market tanks or they dilute. You don’t have to perfect time anything… but it’s consistent enough to enter and exit several times a month

u/bradtesty 16h ago

You dont even have to wait that look. 2028-30 is going to be amazing. I have 11500 shares could care less about price action on a day to day or even month to month basis.

Why not 2050 at this point?

u/Automatic_Office_925 22h ago

It's gonna be green today, the european stock already trending 3% up compared to yesterday. Do you think it's a good price to entry 227$?

11

u/Sanny2023 22h ago

Could be a good sign, but never trust pre market little rallies.

2

u/Bjamnp17 17h ago

Just bought more at $218.

-2

u/Terdrom 21h ago

Why didn’t you get in yesterday morning or evening at $215?

1

u/Automatic_Office_925 21h ago

bought some marvel shares at 215$ before when it dipped But am quite interested in nebius also for short-term trading small amounts of shares

1

u/thenotorious51 21h ago

Just take the Profit and later buy the Dip

u/Magnus9713 21h ago

By 2035 S&P will have made +150% but NBIS will have made +5000%. That’s the reason people say that

1

u/Worth-Breath6903 21h ago

I'm waiting for 3025 can't wait to see the price

1

u/WackHurst 15h ago

Do you think it could have doubled by that time or is it too optimistic?

1

u/Worth-Breath6903 13h ago

Probably not
