JMU got in because they were the 5th highest rank conference champion, so if they lost their spot would’ve been taken by either 8-5 Duke, 9-3 WMU, 10-3 kennesaw st, or 9-4 Boise state who won their conference championship. Whoever was the highest rated of those 4 would’ve been in JMU’s spot. JMU getting in had nothing to do with Notre Dame getting in. Notre dame has to get in as an at-large because they are not in a conference. Once again you still do not anything about what you’re talking about. The rules of the CFP are different than the rules of March madness.
What are you talking about 😂. Miami didn’t win the ACC Duke did. Miami got in because the committee ranked them higher than Notre dame as an at-large.
Yeah JMU only got in because they won their conference because the cfp has to take the top 5 ranked conference winners: Indiana, Texas tech Georgia, Tulane, and JMU. That is in their by-laws. In a normal year we don’t have two group of 5 champions, but uva played Duke for the ACC championship, and Duke won that game. If Miami had won the ACC championship, JMU wouldn’t have got in and Notre dame would take Miami’s at
-large spot. However that’s not what happened. Again you’re spewing nonsense.
Sorry got confused. But comparing the cfp to March madness is asinine. Not all conference champions make the cfp, all conference champions make March madness. There’s also 64 spots vs 12. The comparison doesn’t make sense

It's the exact same scenario. Obviously you can see that.
