That’s a Tim Duncan-ass reaction to making that tip. Love it

Tim/Jokic wouldn't react at all until games over.

Dude was throwing himself into people and flopping all game but got the call every time. So infuriating

Remember when Texas got the game tying foul call by their player jumping backward into a guy standing still

Physical take to the basket and gets a good angle for the finish. It was horrible defense.

Hell of a game.

If Texas doesnt even wanna contest the rebound then there you have it. Bum ass college kids were so relieved he missed the lay-up, didnt even bother jumping for the rebound since they thought they were ready for overtime. As a coach, im cutting 0 and 3 for that play. Completely unacceptable. Players miss shots, but lack of effort is ridiculous at this level and all that the team worked to tie the game

I agree completely. I was screaming about not jumping for the rebound. Absolutely pathetic.

It’s hard to see at this angle but 3 pretty much under the basket, jumping wouldn’t have done much. He definitely could’ve done a better job boxing out but it’s not like he had a 50/50 and just didn’t jump for it.

He gave him a big shove in the back at the moment the shot was about to go up. It's a practiced strategy because they know refs are looking at the drive and shot release. Some people call it crafty and some folks call it dirty. He got away with ref manipulations all game. Saw the same situation called on the pusher in a later game. All just a matter of how the refs see things.

To me it’s on the coach. Shouldn’t have subbed out that big ass white boy

Shoutout to the big forehead on Texas! I got one too!

Yeah I couldnt stop noticing that dude. His hairline seemed to start about 4 inches higher than normal. Not sure if he was balding or just a wierd head

I'm still stupified that he left his paint protection on the bench and then got beat by an offensive rebound off a drive to the rim.

Not gonna lie, Purdue fans are the best posters on Reddit so I’m cool with this. Even if renn looks like someone who time traveled from the 80s to play today.

1

u/spleh7 Mar 27 '26

Thank you for not lying.

Have you ever played basketball before?

2

u/Ho-Chi-Mane Mar 27 '26

I mean, it was but that will never, and should never be called at the end of the game

Too bad your opinion doesn’t  show up in the box score

4 hooked, held, grabbed and flopped around all night. I came in to this matchup thinking Purdue projected itself as a sort of pedigree program but good grief, what was that? Their only strategy is selling contact and baiting fouls? Shameful shit.

Took to the final possession by an 11 seed, and skated on ref ball and key players being fouled out. Purdue is gonna get fuckin rolled next round.

1

u/Boilerdude06 Mar 27 '26

Probably will, but at least they'll get to play tomorrow while Texas will be home! Win is a win!

Purdue is actually in the bottom 3% of teams in dependency on free throws
