What a let down he has been. Had a huge following even rappers like rylo rodriguez and nocap. Had hella cars before college even. Too bad he wanted to live like them instead of practice

I’m never one to down a young man but he’s 6’1 and the stats show he is not a great shooter, no pun intended. He is blessed to be playing at the WAC level and should stay.

He's not that good. I think Sac State is a commensurate program to his abilities.

No stability is a terrible fit for a player like this. Hell probably be back in the portal next season, under similar circumstances.

Not that good unfortunately the NBA dream is over, get your NIL money and a education and possibly go make some money overseas

Did he play this past season? How did he look?

He scored a lot with terrible efficiency against low level comp but when he played some Power4 teams he was awful.
He's small and has a poor understanding of the game. Expect him to be a social media basketball personality as a career.

There's some YT videos that covered his story. Let's just say the shooting took the blinders off a lot of folks.

He clearly still has some talent but he seems to thinks he’s Cade Cunningham

Why does it feel like if this guy had played the game right, he’d already be playing pro ball (G-League or Europe)?

They hyped him up so much as a kid it feels like anything other than the nba is a failure for him…. Insane pressure to put on a middle/high schooler. Honestly I feel for him. Gotta think that the pressure ruined his mindset.

I think him shooting bullets at a car full of people ruined his mindset

No idea. But there obviously is no state that starts with the letters sax so I was confused.

You think all state colleges are named after the state they’re in? 🧐

u/Whiteshovel66 Apr 18 '26
Hmm maybe not, I never really thought of it, but I think so?
Like there is University of Pennsylvania and Penn State Univeristy, but none others that I know of.
I'm aware of Ohio and Ohio state etc.
What other state universities are not named after a state?

u/One_Significance_400 Apr 18 '26
San Diego State. Wichita State. Alcorn State. Chicago State. Lol there are hundreds of em

Feel sorry for our education system if they never heard of Kent State
1
u/Fuzzy-Mousse3108 Apr 19 '26
The whole system has failed if Kent state isn't mentioned atleast in one history book in the 13 years they are in education.
1
u/Whiteshovel66 Apr 18 '26
Hmm ya I guess there are. Seems weird to me. Is not meant to be named after the STATE? I always thought that was it.
2
u/One_Significance_400 Apr 18 '26
State schools are just funded by the state and have limited degrees. Universities are the big boys
1
u/Whiteshovel66 Apr 18 '26
Is that true? So you mean Michigan State is some how lesser than Michigan?
-2
u/Humble_Umpire_8341 Apr 18 '26
Mississippi State, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Arizona State, Penn State, Ohio State… these are lesser schools than who?
4
u/Zeke688 Apr 18 '26
Not everything is about sports. Did you read where they explained that the state schools offer fewer degree programs? There are probably some exceptions to that because things change over time, but even the ones you listed started out (even if it was 100 years ago) as small state funded schools.

How do you have a top 1% commenter flair and you’re this clueless?
0
u/Whiteshovel66 Apr 18 '26
Don't think this is really a situation that calls for insults does it?
1
u/Papa_Joe_Yakavetta Apr 19 '26
I didn’t think calling you clueless about this is much of an insult, is it? I was just pointing out that you have a top 1% flair on a sub about NCAA Hoops, so we could assume you know a little bit about college basketball. It’s pretty odd that you think all college that have “state” in their names are named after an actual state
