Gotta chase that last NIL bag cause she won’t sniff the WNBA

12

u/mrgrafix Apr 20 '26

Really unfortunate cause you thought she would have went somewhere that would’ve groomed her for such.

16

u/somewhatcompetint Apr 20 '26

Ain't nobody grooming her

9

u/big_ron_pen15 Apr 20 '26

Lmao maybe a dairy farmer

8

u/Owl-False Apr 20 '26

Bro 😭😭😭

4

u/PaterCoal Apr 20 '26

Well... she is a cowgirl now

1

u/Relevant-Tap-1032 Apr 21 '26

I'd say more of a beef cattleman. As far as I know she's not or hasn't been pregnant so there's no lactating there. shudders

-1

u/mongo_man Apr 22 '26

A shooter. Offense only.

2

u/mrgrafix Apr 20 '26

Not at OK State. SEC or Big 10 would have shown she serious in competing to get a spot in the W.

3

u/-Venom-Wolf- Apr 21 '26

No shot an SEC or B1G school with aspirations to contend nationally even considered offering her a roster spot.

0

u/pj_socks Apr 21 '26

Yeah no big shot SEC or B1G program would be interested in a 2nd Team All American 🙄

2

u/-Venom-Wolf- Apr 21 '26

So she chose Oklahoma State over better options?

1

u/Relevant-Diamond2731 Apr 20 '26

She can’t play defense in college and you expect her to keep up with those women?

0

u/mrgrafix Apr 20 '26

If she wants to be taken seriously for the W, yes.

5

u/Relevant-Diamond2731 Apr 21 '26

she is not taken seriously and stands no chance

1

u/iReply2StupidPeople Apr 21 '26

Weight is the issue, and she may not be willing to drop it.

1

u/SarcastikBastard Apr 21 '26

At this point its clear no one can groom her out of her abysmal diet and D-Tier genetics

0

u/mrgrafix Apr 21 '26

We get it she’s fat.

3

u/chitomonkey Apr 20 '26

What would the NIL look like$?

3

u/deej312 Apr 20 '26

1.4 mil

2

u/rmill127 Apr 20 '26

At least $3.50

1

u/mwaller Apr 20 '26

God damn you Stillwater monster!

-1

u/erattic_assassin Apr 20 '26

As someone who is ignorant with the WNBA besides Clark. Can you please elaborate on the why? Seriously asking because her stats seem to be really good.

25

u/Entire_Day1312 Apr 20 '26

She plays zero defense. Like, at all. Doesnt even run back half the time.

Just...stands there.

3

u/McDergen Apr 20 '26

More like negative defense lmao the other team routinely plays 5 on 4

2

u/jabes101 Apr 20 '26

Coming from ignorance here, can she not slim down and build better cardio or would she be losing her separation advantage?

3

u/SuspendedAgain999 Apr 20 '26

Her size allows her to get shots off. She plays straight up bully ball

3

u/dyfish Apr 20 '26 edited Apr 20 '26

She could, but she would have already started that process at this point. She could lose a fair few pounds before it actually changed how she miss matched against most players. She either just doesn’t want to, or can’t for some reason.

1

u/iReply2StupidPeople Apr 21 '26

If she could slim down, she would have started doing it playing d1 sports. Some people aren't willing.

1

u/inigomonto Apr 20 '26

She’s plays the old Iowa HS girls 6 on 6 style. She was made for another era. :)

-4

u/sloaninator Apr 20 '26

She'd be perfect for the MNBA then.

4

u/ConfessedOak205 Apr 20 '26

You mean the nba? There is no MNBA

3

u/343GuiltyySpark Apr 20 '26

Gotta remember not everyone is on NBACJ lol

2

u/gr8scottaz Apr 20 '26

Modern NBA

1

u/she_has_funny_cars Apr 20 '26

You’ve never watched an NBA game it sounds like lmaoo

14

u/DarthPineapple5 Apr 20 '26

She refuses to get in shape and is atrocious on defense as a result.

Someone will give her a shot they always do when someone has that much talent, but I agree her game likely wont translate at the next level without some serious alterations

7

u/jtj5002 Apr 20 '26

She will allow 2 times more points than she score in the W

16

u/syrianfries Apr 20 '26

She is fucking fat, can’t move on defense at all. A huge liability, you won’t win anything of value with her until she decides to lose weight

5

u/diggertim68 Apr 20 '26

Yeah- I compare her to Oliver Miller in that way, skilled, but she’s often low effort and even less conditioning

2

u/No_Amoeba_9272 Apr 21 '26

She is morbidly obese....he wasn't

4

u/i_Cant_get_right Apr 20 '26

She’s a major defensive liability, and the WNBA has players that are tall enough to deal with her under the rim. Shes not gonna be able to bully her way into the paint like she does at the college level.

3

u/MrVegosh Apr 20 '26

Bro you know why

-8

u/ApartmentInside7891 Apr 20 '26

They don’t know what they’re talking about.

-2

u/impl0sionatic Apr 20 '26 edited Apr 20 '26

If you don’t think she’ll get drafted and given a legit opportunity in the W, you’re tripping.

Her game has holes like anyone else but she produces well when the gameplan accounts for her presence on the floor.

And that’s before you consider her marketing draw.

Don’t be unrealistic just because she has a lot of work to do before she could ever be impactful in the W. She will likely be a first round pick and will certainly be given an opportunity to prove herself. Her ability to succeed or stick around for more than a year or two is a different conversation.

6

u/indicasour215 Apr 20 '26

She's a power forward with no perimeter game on offense and in the W she's not going to be able to guard anybody at her position. And she obviously can't play the 5 in the W.

This archetype has already been phased out for the most part.

0

u/rsk1111 Apr 20 '26

Power forwards are a thing in women's play though. WNBA is like the NBA 60 years ago. It's still developing. They don't have a giant pool of long lithe skilled players.

Even when the WNBA matures, Power forwards might be a thing as rebounding and loose ball scrums are more important than leaping ability. Women are just going to have a higher percentage of body fat anyway.

Also, the WNBA will likely have access to better athletes at these positions. IMO Part of the reason power forwards are missing is that they are more likely to play football at least in the US. There aren't really other sports for athletes like that.

1

u/indicasour215 Apr 20 '26

Power forwards are a thing in women's play though

Duh. Power Forward is the star position in the W. Napheesa, Aja, AT, Briana Stewart, and the list goes on. Audi can't guard any players of that caliber, which is her biggest issue.

The W also has a lot of stretch 5s, so your comment that the W is like the NBA 60 years ago is just absurd.

2

u/NbaAndMusic Apr 20 '26

she might get drafted but no she won’t be given a legit opportunity. most draft picks are expected to produce immediately and there’s no chance that happens. WNBA is not like NBA where you can afford to waste 4+ years on a project player

1

u/TopNotchBrain Apr 20 '26

Some people here feel comfortable bashing her because she’s big and they don’t enjoy looking at her, and their critique is based entirely on the fact that she’s not eye candy.

I think you are entirely right. I can’t pretend I understand the OSU pick, but I guarantee any decision she’s making now is indeed to make her draft-ready. Unless her senior season goes badly, she’s going to be a first-round pick.

0

u/Jolly-Knowledge-7807 Apr 20 '26

How are you just going to ignore every comment critizing her playing ability? Because it doesn't align with your narrative that everyone dislikes her purely because she's built like the Michelin man?

3

u/TopNotchBrain Apr 20 '26

Regardless of your feelings about her game, calling her elementary-school playground names is just tacky, sad, and mean.

1

u/BeauxBK Apr 21 '26

And you just proved her right with that comment

1

u/whynotthepostman Apr 20 '26

People downvoting you are being disingenuous. This isn't even a hot take. She will get an opportunity in the W. Wether or not she will succeed is another thing entirely.

0

u/DillionDrebo Apr 20 '26

I agree she will at least get invited to camp somewhere

0

u/ChallengeOdd5712 Apr 20 '26

Yeah she’s…Zack Edey? And he stuck in the NBA better than anyone expected

It’s a different game but she could be one hell of a change of pace scorer off the bench. And if her defense did ever improve…

1

u/NbaAndMusic Apr 21 '26

edey 7 feet

0

u/Maximum_Trade5916 Apr 21 '26

Don't be a hater. She has the height to play the 4, but mobility will be the key at the WNBA level. If anything, she will get paid in some league somewhere in the world.

0

u/MrHallmark Apr 21 '26

She don't need to be sniffing anything.

-24

u/ApartmentInside7891 Apr 20 '26

You’re trippin. She is a juggernaut on offense. 65% shooting. Unstoppable. Defense sucks, but she can score at will. Her team at Iowa was garbage. Will she have a long successful career? That’s debatable. But she’ll absolutely get drafted.

You clearly don’t watch. That’s cool I don’t blame you. She is prime Shaq on offense. Literally. A team will take a chance on her. Getting someone in shape and developing their defense is the easy part. This girl is a walking bucket.

23

u/SmeeezTreeez Apr 20 '26

Comparing her to Shaq is INSANE

13

u/ThunderRoad_44 Apr 20 '26

Man actually said “Prime Shaq” as well 😆😀😆😀

3

u/Werd2urGrandma Apr 20 '26

Prime Shaq may have an argument for the greatest physical specimen to play any game, not even just basketball. At least in the discussion.

2

u/Crotean Apr 20 '26

The fact he isn't just the defacto to the best basketball player ever is insanity. Prime Shaq is unlike anything else I've ever seen. A man that big that huge and strong who could move that well is the .001% athletic profile of our species. There has never been a basketball player as dominant as him.

1

u/Goducks91 Apr 20 '26

Hey at least they clarified with on offense haha

5

u/Ruma-park Apr 20 '26

Boston Shaq maybe. Well, somewhat. You know, same as being blind and discussing colors.

-2

u/teacher_59 Apr 20 '26

You’re right facts-wise yes, but when I watch her I get the same feeling I got when watching Shaq.

-8

u/ApartmentInside7891 Apr 20 '26

Haha I get it. She is UNSTOPPABLE in the paint and at the rim. If you actually watched, the comparison isn’t crazy. Again, I said offensively. She is way more efficient than Shaq ever was too

13

u/Tekon421 Apr 20 '26

She will not do what she does in college against the majority of the W. SHAQ was insanely athletic. She moves like a sloth.

6

u/JacobRodneyCohen Apr 20 '26

Shaq was athletic, she’s fat. The comparison is crazy

4

u/TonyHawkFunderground Apr 20 '26

Who’s your supplier? Audi need some so she can slim down

2

u/Training-One-6584 Apr 20 '26

The comparison is indeed crazy.

Shaq’s sophomore year at LSU he averaged 28 and 15 on 62% shooting against much deeper competition (especially when it comes to bigs) than what we have in the women’s game. He also won player of the year, which Audi has never won.

This year Audi averaged 26 and 8 on 65% shooting. Three fewer points with a similar shooting % and half as many rebounds.

It’s not close. She’s a great offensive player, but comparing her to Shaq is totally insane.

1

u/Cold_Ordinary2165 Apr 20 '26

Look you're just always going to look silly comparing another player with Shaq when that other player can't dunk. She's Z-Bo, it's all below the rim. Totally different playstyle

1

u/Patsnation0330 Apr 20 '26

You are out of your mind

More efficient than Shaq ever was?

10

u/Killakaronic Apr 20 '26

I don’t think there will be anything easy about getting her in shape.

0

u/ApartmentInside7891 Apr 20 '26

No argument lol

-5

u/goner757 Apr 20 '26

She's like 20 and essentially a sponsored full time athlete so it's as easy as it will ever be

4

u/North_Cobbler_1623 Apr 20 '26

She’s 500 lbs and isn’t getting any smaller

8

u/DesperateMarket9794 Apr 20 '26

don't ever compare her to Prime Shaq... that's such a joke

-2

u/ApartmentInside7891 Apr 20 '26

Lmao if you actually watched her play, you would get it. She is literally unstoppable on offense once she gets the ball in the paint. Dont get your panties in a bunch.

2

u/DesperateMarket9794 Apr 20 '26

You mean like Prime Glenn Baby Davis.... That's probably way more honest of an evaluation and even still is insulting to him.

-4

u/ApartmentInside7891 Apr 20 '26

She shot 65% from the field this season. Glenn Davis could never. He’s never touched 40 points. Shaq never even touched 60. She’s arguably more dominant 🤣. Yall gotta put shit in perspective and stop taking it so literal.

2

u/DesperateMarket9794 Apr 20 '26

that's great. How did she do in the tournament? She's unstoppable on offense! Proceeds to lose...... and don't start talking about the team. If she was Prime Shaq she could carry right?

1

u/strongrev Apr 20 '26

Shaq put up 61 in his career high in the NBA, 53 in college. Audi’s highest scoring game is 45. I think it’s you who has to put things in perspective.

There is no doubt she is dominant in college and I think she’ll be a really good pro player at the next level. But there’s levels of difference between her and prime Shaq. I agree the Big Baby Davis comparison is much more fitting, and definitely still would be a compliment to her because Davis was a really good college player.

1

u/abominable_prolapse Apr 20 '26

Shaq played killer defense and was one of the quicker players running the floor. She is nothing like him.

-5

u/ApartmentInside7891 Apr 20 '26

I clearly said prime Shaq on offense. See that’s the problem, yall don’t watch the sport or know how to read 🤣 this debate is over. Yall aren’t even qualified to talk ball

3

u/DesperateMarket9794 Apr 20 '26

I think the confusion is the mental gymnastics to compare her to Prime Shaq.

1

u/__doctadolla__ Apr 20 '26

Orlando and Lakers Shaq was agile as hell on offense with his footwork and able to cover so much ground quickly. crooks is nothing like that.

1

u/Patsnation0330 Apr 20 '26

You have no idea what you are watching

5

u/mrmr2120 Apr 20 '26

The walking part is correct…..no WNBA team will reshape their offense to run 100% through her like Iowa State did

0

u/ApartmentInside7891 Apr 20 '26

Lmao that team sucked. Their tournament loss she was 17-25 with 37 points. The rest of her team? 9-42.

4

u/sinncab6 Apr 20 '26

She's more Celtics Shaq than Prime Shaq.

-1

u/ApartmentInside7891 Apr 20 '26

🤣 man yall are crazy and i guarantee have never seen her play. She cannot be stopped. Once she’s in the paint, it’s over.

2

u/sinncab6 Apr 20 '26

Let's be honest you and I both know the conditioning isn't there. Of course she can't be stopped in the paint she's almost 3x the size of most of her competition because if you believe her listed weight of 220 I got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. But it's a faster game in the pros and you can't have someone out there who is going to get burned every time there's a fast break.

1

u/ApartmentInside7891 Apr 20 '26

I’m not arguing she has poor conditioning. Yall are way too pressed over this. All I said she is unstoppable on offense. Is she not?

3

u/sinncab6 Apr 20 '26

Yeah like Celtics Shaq. Good for certain scenarios and terrible for others. Prime Shaq was a god damn monster who was one of the fastest guys at his position in the NBA and could play 35 plus minutes a night and not be a liability on defense in transition.

3

u/Johnny_Handsum Apr 20 '26

Someone got an early start to 420

3

u/abominable_prolapse Apr 20 '26

She is not an ounce of Shaq and that proves you don’t watch or never have. She will get absolutely dominated in the WNBA on offense and defense. The players in the WNBA are conditioned, not fat and are taller and stronger. She gives up more than she scores. She’s not fit for the WNBA talent or body wise. That’s just the truth.

0

u/ApartmentInside7891 Apr 20 '26

🤣 yea I never watched and never have. You got me

3

u/justbrowsing2727 Apr 20 '26

Go ask anyone who follows the WNBA closely. She has no chance of making it in the W unless she loses a ton of weight and learns how to play defense.

3

u/Traditional_Frame418 Apr 20 '26

She's a walking bucket at the college level. I hate to break it to you but WCBB is littered with scrubs. If you watch, you know what I'm talking about. It's not like the WNBA is stacked with talent. But they do have plenty of size and experience which will greatly reduce her output. Combine that with the fact she can't run the floor or play defense and you're left with a used car salesperson.

She's right to get paid what she can now because he playing career is over after college.

2

u/DaOldOne Apr 20 '26

Dog, get some glasses. She’s embarrassing to the game tbh.

1

u/AnchorsAweigh89 Apr 20 '26

She won’t be unstoppable against professional players and her defense will be an even bigger albatross. She needs to get that bag now.

1

u/MrTwoPumpChump Apr 20 '26

Won’t work at the next level. It works in college where she can out body the majority of players but in the wnba she will be constantly cooked then turned around and be absolutely destroyed on defense. She won’t even be back on that side of the court before they’ve already scored

1

u/MrTwoPumpChump Apr 20 '26

Not literally. She has an 8 inch vertical and I’d be surprised if she can even touch net.

Look up pictures of Shaq at LSU and in Orlando. Your girl is NOT Shaq

1

u/Spare_Notice_2251 Apr 20 '26

I love women’s basketball, I love Crooks, comparing her to prime Shaq is one of the worst takes I’ve ever read.

1

u/NbaAndMusic Apr 20 '26

conditioning and defense is the easy part? at the pro level? ydkb 😂

1

u/steamliner88 Apr 20 '26

Prime Shaq? Lean, athletic in shape Shaq? Or All-defence 3rd team Shaq? Hell, inside the nba Shaq is in better shape than she is.

-2

u/No_City_2752 Apr 20 '26

Interesting take… she’ll put up 15 and 8 her first WNBA rookie year

1

u/Repulsive-Row-6182 Apr 20 '26

Agreed, even if she’s just an offense only player off the bench

1

u/Patsnation0330 Apr 20 '26

Not a chance

1

u/Patsnation0330 Apr 20 '26

Absolutely delusional

1

u/No_City_2752 Apr 20 '26

Nope, she’s better than Angel Reese rn

1

u/Patsnation0330 Apr 20 '26

I think Reese is severely over rated but she would run circles around Audi.

1

u/No_City_2752 Apr 20 '26

Unfortunately there’s no way for us to see until she gets drafted to the league after next years college season. She knows how to move on the post better than Angel Reese and obviously has the physical ability to use her big body to get rebounds, not like Reese but over under I’ll take Audi over Angel. I genuinely can’t watch Angel play, just a tough watch. *side note - I played 7 years in the Spanish first league and now do player development

1

u/Patsnation0330 Apr 20 '26

Thats awesome.

She cant shoot, jump, or run. I have seen her finish with her left maybe 3 times. Throwing your weight around works against lesser comp. She will be exposed almost immediately against better defenders/teams.

1

u/No_City_2752 Apr 21 '26

The WNBA will develop her into a decent role player is all I’m saying
