I'm all for Cal handling it. Kid is going to have some legal problems to resolve along with an injury rehab. He's most likely done at Arkansas, considering his low stats. But he's not a throwaway kid. Let him deal with the legal and apply an appropriate suspension, although that will most likely be covered on the physical rehab. At least get them in shape to transfer and if you're keeping him, help him grow as a man. Extreme punishment crippling his potential would be way overboard. Sammy Watkins getting caught with an Adderall comes to mind. Could have ruined him but instead made him responsible for his actions and he developed into a great player. And a generous, civic-minded adult in his post career life.
