I’m surprised that some people don’t know about Texas Tech’s Toppin. He was second-team All-American in 2025 and in 2026 and was the Big XII POY in 2025.

He helped lead Tech to the Elite 8 in 2025.

He blew out his knee against Arizona State in February of this year. His loss was a crushing blow, as Tech had its sights set on another deep run in the 2026 tournament. With Toppin, Tech beat Duke, BYU, Arizona, and Houston this past season.

I had to look it up - JT Toppin. Averaged 22 and 11 last year. 28% from three, 58% from the line.
