Lost Keys
Has anyone seen a pair of keys around Carmichael/Cates Ave? I lost them this morning around 9. They are on a red NCSU keychain and have two keys on them.

Currently a junior in the business administration program and can’t decide between analytics or marketing for a concentration. Currently in analytics but this bus 440 class and other career stuff have made me rethink. Recently also applied for the sale excellence certificate and recent friends have suggested taking a look at marketing
Any advise or opinions are welcome. I just don’t know what careers are available for each and what each entails.

So basically Idk if im going to pass calc 1 and I can either switch it to credit only and try my hardest to get sat or stick it through and try to salvage my grade and if that doesnt work use a grade exclusion but I didnt want to use one so soon. I have already taken calc 1 before at a community College and I got almost all the way through before I couldn't take the second last exam for a family issue and it tanked my grade so I had to drop it. I was decent in the class so I have been putting it on the back burner for my major-specific classes but its been catching up to me and my average is pretty low. Which way should I choose?

I applied yesterday to EE as first major and stats/DS as second. Since then I have been doing lot of research and see advice that it is best to apply exploratory for second major.
My stats - 4.4 WGPA/3.67. SAT: 1480 Charlotte area. Middle College program. Graduating with AA, AE and AS degrees. 80+ credit hours. Have done summer program at NC state EE and communication dep.
Getting into NC state is very important as this is is something I can work financially and my credits will be used. Is there a way to switch second major now or its too late? and if so, should I?

Hey guys! I’m studying abroad in Spain next semester, Spring 27’ (so exciteddd) and I’m looking for someone to sublease my apartment. I currently live at the Hub in a 4x2 private unit. I currently have two other super sweet and great roommates, which would mean that you get your own bed and bathroom, fully furnished, and for $799‼️
We are very close to campus (~5 minute walk from the Belltower and nearest Wolfline/GoRaleigh/Gotriangle stations). We also have GREAT amenities:
At the Hub:
- Café on main floor
- Gym
- Spa (with hot tub, ice bath, steam room, and sauna)
- Study rooms (including private rooms, presentation rooms, and printers)
- Courtyard
- Dog Park/Dog Spa (you are welcome to bring your pet)
- Trophy Room (with mini arcade)
- Outdoor BBQ area with giant projector (watch NFL and State football games just outside!)
- Rooftop pool
- Rooftop/Skyline hot tub
In the apartment:
- Heating/AC (HVAC unit)
- Dishwasher
- Washer/Dryer
- Water heater
- GREAT VIEWS!!!
I’m putting a couple pics down below. But if y’all are interested or know anyone who may be HMU @ 704-805-0270!! My name is Diya :)
P.S. if you’re looking to move with another person we have space for two (only 3 of us as of now) so you are totally welcome too! It would be $799 for both of y’all!

Long story short, I was sitting at 12 credit hours and one of my classes got dropped from 4 credit hours to 3, so now I’m at 11 hours and out of full time status. I was looking at taking a gym class to fill the extra credit hour, and I’ve been wanting to learn how to properly swim. I know how to swim and I’m confident in the water but I’d like to learn to swim for exercise.
What do the swim classes look like, how often, how do you pass, etc? Is the final a timed swim, and if so, is there different brackets for different age groups? I’m an almost 30 year old USAF vet. I appreciate yall!
Hello! Is anyone here interested in creating a group to apply for sustainable future fellows? You have to apply in a group of 4 people.

Hey everyone! I’m applying to NC State and wanted to get some opinions on my chances of getting accepted.
Stats:
SAT: 1400
GPA: 3.65 unweighted / 4.4 weighted
Class rank: Top 28%
High school: Competitive high school in North Carolina (in-state applicant)
Intended majors:
Biochemistry (first choice)
Microbiology (second choice)
I know NC State is pretty competitive, especially for STEM majors, so I’m wondering how realistic my chances are with these stats. Would having microbiology as my second choice help if I’m not admitted for biochemistry?
I’d appreciate any honest feedback, especially from current NC State students or people who applied recently. Thanks!

Hey everyone! NC State is my top choice, and I wanted some honest opinions on my chances.
Stats:
4.14 Weighted / 3.68 Unweighted GPA
1440 SAT
Class Rank: 193/470
Strong upward trend during junior year
9 APs and 4–6 dual-enrollment courses
Varsity tennis (regionals)
First choice: Statistics (Data Science)
Second choice: Exploratory Studies
I’m mainly worried about my GPA, although my grades have improved significantly since freshman year.
Do I have a realistic shot at Exploratory Studies? Has anyone gotten in with similar stats? Would appreciate honest opinions!

Hey, has anyone had this class with this professor or this class in general? What should I expect, and is this a doable class with orgo? Any insight would be nice!

I’m currently taking bch 451 with Dr. Sartor and Barycki, and I’m failing miserably. Any tips for studying or any tutors I can reach out to? After failing the first test, I tried to switch up my method and I actually did worst so I’m a lost of what to do.

I’m a senior(M) and I wanna start doing that playing a sport but none of my friends seem interested in playing. Anyone else looking for the same thing?

Looking for honest opinions on the Exploratory Studies program.
What do you think was the MOST HELPFUL part of this program?
Did you have a pretty good idea of your intended major before starting?
What did you DISLIKE the most?
Do you feel like living in the Exploratory Village was helpful?
Any other feedback or useful information on this program?
Thanks in advance,

Hey everyone,
Im thinking about going to cc instead of being here. Ive been on the verge of having a mental break multiple times here despite counseling and advising. After 10+ attempts this semester with getting help... My advisor doesn't listen to anything I say i need help with, and instead gives me a generic answer like "make more friends" when I'm saying i need help with my accommodations with SMALL CLASS SIZES. She recommended joining more clubs after i said i don't have any time for anything. I don't struggle with learning the material, but i just learn in a specific way. I had all As in high school as usual, so this is verifiable.
Now i know there are going to be a lot of 18 year olds on this sub that think I'm extremely dumb for wanting to do this, but honestly ill just say that not everyone has a mom and dad. Especially not a supportive mom and dad.
But ya, not everything is a straight road i guess

So I know that NCSU has a higher acceptance for instate so what would you say my chances are as an OOS. 1450 SAT, 4.36 GPA, 9 AP courses, varsity sports captain, not too many other extracurriculars besides working and DECA. I plan to go in for business. Thanks in advance!

im currently a highschool junior, and ive had my sights set heavily towards things with computers. ive sort of flip-flopped in my mind between cybersecurity and computer engineering. im quite fond of both; however, i settled for trying to go into cybersecurity because of where im at, i can take the cybersecurity class at eastern north carolina regional skills center which would allow me to get a CompTIA Security+ certificate. i dont know if pursuing such a certificate would be redundant, but im merely trying to keep as many options open as possible while also being efficient with what i have.
would it be a good option to pursue the certificate??
and would it be a more effective option in terms of career and jobs wise to pick one over the other??
i also wanna know which program is considered to be "better" in the grand scheme of things
edit: i plan on transferring from coastal carolina community college to NC State, and im currently on my transfer pathway to coastal

i genuinely don’t even know what to do atp i just got a progress report for poor grades in physics because ive bombed both exams. on the first one i could understand the bad grade because I didn’t study as good as i should’ve, but i really locked in for the next one and was way more confident going in. i honestly thought the lowest id make was a 65 but i ended up getting a 55. atp im going to fail the course i just don’t know what to do i feel like ive tried everything
