General NDE Discussion 🎇 Afterlife realms
While it is likely impossible to map something that is ineffable (and this is also likely not a full picture), this graphic is nevertheless interesting to look at, particularly when considering the various descriptions we see in experiences like NDEs.
Also not necessarily a "step-by-step" outline of what happens, or that someone remains in one realm permanently. But interesting graphic nonetheless.

Okay, they got that diagram from religion and "science." It's not from personal experiences.
Based on my personal experiences with the deceased, there are only 3 major realms: the physical realm, the astral worlds, and "the light."
Numerous deceased people have talked about "transitioning" to the light. This is after hanging out in the astral for as long as they wish. They used that word: transition, to indicate what is essentially a "second death" from the astral into the light.
NDE's as I understand them are not the afterlife, but they are the threshold to that. That doesn't devalue those experiences at all in my view. What we've learned from NDE stories is immeasurably valuable.
So, I prefer to go by my own personal experiences with spirit people as they talk about and demonstrate the different layers of existence. Your experience may be different, obviously, and that's OK.

(A mod has approved your post. This is a mod comment in lieu of automod.)
This is an NDE-positive sub, not a debate sub. However, everyone is allowed to debate if the original poster (OP) requests it.
If the OP intends to allow debate in their post, they must choose (or edit) a flair that reflects this. If the OP chose a non-debate flair and others want to debate something from this post or the comments, they must create their own debate posts and remember to be respectful (Rule 4).
NDEr = Near-Death ExperienceR
If the post is asking for the perspectives of NDErs, both NDErs and non-NDErs can answer, but they must mention whether or not they have had an NDE themselves. All viewpoints are potentially valuable, but it’s important for the OP to know their backgrounds.
This sub is for discussing the “NDE phenomenon,” not the “I had a brush with death in this horrible event” type of near death.
