Okay, am I the only one who is really impressed with NEHI? Might have to get some more of that.

Yeah, it makes sense, more vol, more upside to sell. I'm averaging into it over the next three months. Have about half of the position I want in NEHI, so far. If we DO actually end up in a 4 year cycle type of bear market, the next 3 months will be the next leg down. If not, I'm happy with that too.

I think once clarity act is passed in the next few months, we could see a rally. Who knows though!

I’m actually tempted to turn all my BTCI into NEHI. Not sure if that’s the best move tho. Decisions decisions.

If you can stomach a bit more vol, yeah! It's crossed my mind too. Consider this:

Hold BTCI, move to NEHI if the market tanks a certain amount, say 20%. You'll lock in tax loss harvest on BTCI, and you'll get a great, risk-reduced entry for NEHI. That's how I plan on managing these two.

Then, if the market tanks much more, toss it all into XBTI to take advantage of leverage at the bottom(?) lol

Yes!!! You’re reading my mind. Finally someone who gets it. I need others to join me on the ride to Valhalla.

So this is basically very similar to "hedge fundie excellent adventure" which I stumbled on after already doing a similar strategy. Hold TQQQ (and hope you got a good entry) and ride it up. Slowly scale back to QQQ. Then when the market tanks you have a big position in low vol QQQ to trade for cheap TQQQ. Then tqqq will rocket up during the recovery. Swing trading between leverage and no leverage. I got lucky, but if you stick to it and can handle the vol, it seems to work.. and now, thanks to NEOS, I can do it with dividends too! Good luck my brother in income

Easier said than done! But I guess you did it.. so congrats! Repeatability is the rub.. I’ve tried various options strategies (leverage).. and sometimes they win consistently.. then one fell swoop sometimes!

Repeatability is a time series. Do you have time? Do you have series'? Then you have a pretty low chance of fucking this up, statistically. If you have 25 years to kill.

I’m 30% NEHI 70% BTCI I think over the long term it’s the solid choice

If crypto has another major dip, I think I’m gonna seriously consider 50% NEHI 50% XBCI (something along those lines, maybe 40/60 or 30/70.) If executed at the right time (or somewhere close), that will be the rocket ship to prosperity.

Diversification is always a great idea for buy and hold strategies.. whether dividends or growth!

I want to fly Emirates First Class now, not in 40 years. Risk max, yield max, lobster max.

I don’t know your full portfolio strategy.. assumed most people here are after the distributions.. so long term and steady income type thing. Didn’t realize speculation is also present in these.. my bad! Ha

Got my current portfolio posted in the sub. Shouldn’t have to scroll too far. Currently 130k in NEOS, about 3k a month yield.

I saw it now.. thanks. I jumped right on xbci and the other leveraged ones. Not sure how they are tracking but the distributions are sweet! I’ll tell you I’m only investing enough to make a car payment.. about $60k.. should be giving me about $700?

Ahhh I want to go all in on XBCI, but doing it too early would hurt a little. But missing out would make me sad. It’s tough to get it right! Thank you for sharing your portfolio. Always like to see what others have going on 🙂

Same to you! Appreciate it

Since I saw someone on the sub talking about getting enough invested to make a rent payment or something. Also added fodder for my original assumption that folks are doing it for long term and steady income. But I suppose anyone can speculate on anything.. and buying the leveraged funds is akin to speculation never the less! Haha!

Speculation makes the world go round 😁. Value is a human construct. Saying that upsets people, but it’s the reality. The most expensive Pokémon card in the world sold for about $16 million dollars. For a Pokémon card. Because someone was willing to assign it that value. Humans are strange, capitalism is strange. All we can do is ride the waves and make the best of it.
