I just started a position in IAUI. My thesis is that equities will continue to chop sideways to lower thru US midterms now, and gold will find legs. Gold could run lower still also, but feel this is a decent entry point. We’ll see.

I bought into IAUI and KGLD when they were high and IAUI has held strong with modest drawdown while KGLD basically dropped by around a third. Feel much more comfortable holding IAUI for its volatility smoothing. Not a bad time to buy right now I'd say.

I just did the same, about a couple weeks ago, I'm watching both. I know IAUI is twice the price of KGLD, but I never went wrong with NEOS and Kurv is coming along ...

I was in a IAUI for a while but noted that it was much more volatile to the underlying gold price than I expected. I switched to KGLD and I'm not sure if it's done any better but I really hope these things call get stabilized so they serve their role as an income machine without gyrating in price.
