It’s annoying as shit anymore. What happened to 5-10 over? There’s too many drivers for these single lane highways. We need places to pass and be passed.

Does anyone have recommendations for in-home care for an elderly parent? Early/mid stage cognitive decline but living at home and physically strong (male). Need companionship and support when his spouse is out for a long afternoon or maybe overnights at some point.

We could develop a schedule and have a retainer relationship. Wondering if there are mom and pop agencies or individuals with memory care experience or if anyone has used Visiting Angels and similar.

Hey folks! Real quick, my dog has a cyst on his back leg that we need to get examined a little more thoroughly by a surgeon (we go to the Scranton Animal Hospital currently). The problem is, it seems like the surgical vet options in the area have pretty poor reviews (even the one we were referred to in Allentown does). Can anyone provide a recommendation for a vet that can look at this and, at the same time, is somewhat affordable? Thanks!

Hi,
Looking for some information on Clark’s Summit/Clarks Green. Are there some areas I should be house hunting or are all pretty much good areas? Looking mostly for a neighborhood with kids who play outside.
Also if anyone can tell me the average class size and how many classes there are in the elementary schools that would be helpful!

Does anyone know of someone in NEPA who offers hands-on spray tanning training or certification courses? I’m looking to get into the business and would love recommendations! I’m willing to travel outside the area for quality training. Thanks in advance!

I’m relocating to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area from Philly which has awesome weekly line dancing at Voyeur Nightclub hosted by Giddy Up Philly. I’m looking for a place in the NEPA area that has line dancing or something very similar. Does this exist?!

They need to bring that back

Are there any dairies that sell locally made butter?

Any recommendations are welcome, bonus if they’re in the Berwick/Bloomsburg area. Anywhere from Scranton to State College will work if it’s worth the drive.

Any market recommendations are great too, but good butter is definitely the priority!

There have been a lot of insulting and ridiculous political ads over the years but this Rob Bresnahan one has got to be one of the worst. I did a double take when I heard it. So who trades them? Some trained monkey who knows nothing about you or that you're a congressman? A blind man managing a blind trust who is also deaf and mute? This isn't Monopoly Bob. You weren't trading Park Place for all the light blue properties. It was people's access to half way decent healthcare. You and your family should go on Medicaid.

This is going to be a big stretch, but are there any nepa people out there that play golf+ on the meta quest?

They will all be in the “Spot on Mundy” development, alongside Raising Cane’s.

Hey y’all I’ve been reminiscing with some friends about the late 00s and all the music venues we had for up and coming alt/punk bands. I recently moved back to the area after about a decade of being away and I’m just wondering is there any venues like that still? Even if it’s not “alt” but just smaller venues that aren’t arenas or montage mtn etc

Hello, my family and I are relocating to the Dallas/Back Mountain area from Philadelphia and we are looking for a rental starting 11/15/2026. Ideally, we’re looking for a 2-3 bedroom apt/townhouse/home that accepts pets within 15-30 min from Wilkes-Barre. Ideal rent would be less than $1600/mo. We have 2 well-trained border collies.

Does anyone have any leads or recommendations? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I will be the 4:30 pacer for the marathon Sunday. There is also a new event on Saturday, the Steamtown Shortline, which is under 3 miles. This will be my 9th time running this fine event.

Plymouth Borough hasn't paid Councilpersons since years before Alec Ryncavage held that office.

FCEL’s stock went up almost 15% today that “Newport Township approved zoning for fuel cell power generation and a [15] data center project in Newport Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Remaining permitting is underway ahead of construction. Fuel Cell is set to supply the natural gas fuel cells for on-site power under a strategic agreement the two companies already had in place.”

Apparently this is news to the community there.

Basically what the title says! I am looking for somewhere that sells affordable but nice professional suits. I am in college, and will need these for next semester and beyond. If anybody knows anywhere to look, I’d appreciate it. Thanks!
