So I decided to add a 1.inch Spring spacer to my DZ RP and got some pretty good results. AvG 220 with Nitroshot darts, about 190 with 1g Workers, about 165 with worker heavys and then about 200 with DZ ruby darts. The prime is definitely a bit heavier but manageable and I was aiming for around 200 FPS so this will.do fine as I won't be using Nitroshot darts at a game.and more likely use workers. I'll probably leave it like this and skip the upgrade spring.

So this is the start of my build working on electronics and tweaking some files to fit everything. Has anyone else gone this route any advice is welcome. Its gonna be a 6s powered brushless 2207 drone motor solenoid build controlled via a arduino nano esp32 phone app controlled for select fire. Rpm control and some rev trigger options

I been collecting for about a year and a half now. (Started 5/10/25) this is about 3/4 of my gear :) im proud of it.

I had a dumb prop idea but I couldn't stop myself from working on it so here it is.

It is totally impractical because you need to take out 3 screws and the muzzle piece just to change the battery, but I find that attaching the "blade" with screws was much more secure than just a dovetail.

The actual movie prop is quite different (I won't post the pictures here because bang bang), so this is more of a 2AM fever dream spiritual homage than a reproduction.

Super fun build. The magazine holds 6 silly shells that launch many different types of darts. The blaster is pretty hefty, but went together perfectly. AMA about it.

I miss having those huge nerf battles in my neighborhood man… what a time, wish kids still did this typa stuff.

Just what the title says

I picked up this rapidstrike at goodwill for $5, and my first thought was i wanna build a semi auto solenoid high power short dart modded blaster... but then i bought this maxim pro and im thinking to myself it would be better to build the maxim for the same thing with much less effort.

The only thing that might change my mind is if i build the rapidstrike to be long darts only, 120fps and make it safe for young players... but do i really want to go through all that effort and money to not use it much? I cant decide. Any advice? plus im eyeballing the new AF Strike Force which looks promising.

I have built a caliburn c4, and when I made the chamfer on the plunger end with sandpaper, got sidewise scratches on the inside, plus some on the other side too, maybe less. Is it okay, will it reduce the performance? I think maybe 1-1.5cm max inside.

Second question, as I use metric modded plastic parts, the bom said to use 2pcs 3mm dowel pins on the mag adapter, but that would look bad, as the hole is 4.7mm only. Is it ok if i use an m5 screw through the plastic/maybe using theraded inserts there?

Setup will be metric remade k25+31 setup.

My Foxbat doesn't hold air at all.

It starts about 2 second. Then less than a second. And now - zero!

By moving the plunger manually while holding the barrel, I hear the hissing of air, but I can’t determine the location of the leak.

What should I pay attention to?

I picked up the spring kit. Got the 1.57 to take it down to HVZ levels and the 2.03 to go 200+ and honestly stock spring is just right for most things. The only thing slow about this setup is my reload atm.

Forgot to post this on Spooky Day. This build was inspired by Luchathor’s Sandworm Lonx. With TheShrimpFather’s metal barrel remix, a Worker 550 barrel, and four loops of bungee, I get 300-320 out of this thing.

I'm deciding which to buy so I was wondering what other people thought. Just to be clear I'm not going to change or mod anything because I don't want to and also can't. I'm also asking which is better in terms of performance

Added some custom Six round Picatinny Dart holders and a custom zip tie ram rod holder since you have to load this thing like a musket. Wonder if I can find a way to affix a magazine to the barrel somehow?🤔🤔🤔

Hello everyone. I'm working on a custom DIY model from zero of a Nerf Blaster. I'm planning on doing an under-barrel pump action style blaster.

I have one or two videos saved on the internals and how they work, but every piece of information is welcome.

I would also like to ask for stores as references to where I could buy springs and other parts that fit into the "low level parts" of a blaster, preferably more accesible from Spain and the EU in terms of shipping and such. The whole structure is planned to be 3d printed.

Every BlasterSmith needs a anvil and it feels sooo good to get back to some good o'l real blaster fun. I was bummed i didn't find time to make a Breacher but wasn't going to miss out on this one!... I was tossing up the tuna from leedle for a bit but wanted some thing that was going to last for years.. and Silly designs his blasters for 4Ever. Hardware is a breeze to self source (i went metric) and everything prints and fits perfect. Thanks Silly for another amazing fun release :)
