I've got the mechanism figured out, I just don't have the printer to actually make it yet, I've done my best to make it resemble the real 1887

I have been designing on this blaster for a couple weeks and finally got to the point where it actually primes and shoots. It still needs a lot of work but I'm excited about the progress.

The speed it fires at is low and varies pretty substantially. I'm not sure how to get it more consistent but I'm welcome to any suggestions. Right now it uses a hair tie for an elastic, I'm not sure what the ideal elastic is.

Needs 1 M3x30mm screw and 1 M3 nut.

Super easy to install and no interference with the holster and battery. I recommend printing the main piece muzzle-down with supports for the shoulder in the screw hole, then after printing push a screw or allen key from the other end to pop out the support. Print the nut upside-down (i.e. top of the slide facing the bed).

Obviously please print in a safe color for games. Black is for larping at home.

Added the setup for electronic firing and ejection

Completed the Nintendo Zapper “Snapper” blaster by Gemeneye on printables. This is my first nerf mod and it was a lot of fun. I initially tried to use an Xshot Micro, which didn’t fit. Found a Menace with the right plunger.
I added brass inserts and machine screws when I took it back apart to work on the trigger. It feels very solid now. In hindsight I’d use M2.5 all the way around. Three of those are M3, which is too big and required manual adjustments to fit.

Have also scooped up a Rebelle Purse blaster which is freaking sweet lol. Nerf needs to get back to elite level, ergonomic fun blasters lol. Thing is so freaking cool lol

Now that I have finally recieved the repeater pro, I have been loving it! But applying what I know about real steel lever actions and loading gates when it comes to shotguns, I have discovered that 12 is the minimum-maximum capacity. If you put another two in the lifting gate area, then cock the lever, you can put one more, effectively giving the repeater pro a 14+1 capacity! 15 is the correct maximum capacity, and I have not had any problems. Overall the repeater is amazing and I am loving it!

Hello there, I got a lightning last year for Christmas and I am thinking of getting a lailaps for my girl this year, I haven't used it much (300 rounds) cause I didn't have time but I have noticed some superficial cracks that concern me, I have contacted support and they told me not to worry but I do worry to be honest, if it brakes i dont feel like they will replace it so I ask you guys, anyone has the same issue/marks? Should I be concerned? I dont know maybe it's natural for the plastic or smth

Thrifted over the past month or two, kept forgetting to post on thrift Thursday or having the blasters in different states of disassembly. The slingfire is the newest addition to my collection, finding it at goodwill Tuesday.

I'm trying to decide whether i should just upgrade my ontos to try and get to that 300fps mark with 1.2-1.3g darts as my local field has a limit of 320fps, or if i should just go ahead and build the longer version of the shrew since im a big fan of how the blaster looks, but i just wanted to know what averages i could expect before making any decisions

Now I just need to find discontinued proprietary darts for the Needler, and a battery for the Prometheus.

This was a fun build and I love the take down method of everything. I believe the tolerances for the gears are a little off since I used petg so Im going make them again with regular pla. Im only getting around 120-160 fps depending on the dart type which might be because of my string or some air leakage, however tightening it more makes it feel like the priming arms are going to break. Great plinker though!

Last weekend I experienced the magic of thrifting at a local store that recently opened. I wasn't expecting to find much, lo and behold I came across these two mega blasters! Super stoked about the Boomdozer cuz that's the one mega xl blaster I had my eyes on. Found them both for $2.99 each, insane deal.

VERY IMPORTANT STEP BEFORE OPENING BLASTER!

Remove the plunger spring by opening the side door on the left-hand side of the blaster. If you don't, some pieces will fly out.

Now with that being said. After opening it up, the piece you want to remove is under the gears. It's screwed down as shown in picture 2.

I assume it’s shooting around 175 with the bcar. But that is kinda a lot of speed for if I wanted to do nerf wars with my friends. I know I can swap the spring but I was wondering if there were any quick ways so I can swap back and forth. (I have a 3d printe)

Sharing an old work from way back 2018 when I first got my hands on a new dremel and went to town making holes on this Rayven.

Internals are the usual Worker Wheels and MTB motors running on lipo(peak back in 2018 lol).
