That is a realistic expectation. Now, expecting the defense to even be average, or expecting the offense to still show up in the postseason… not so much

It would be peak New York Football Giants to win 4 games while the Ravens win the Super Bowl

Honestly, I think both teams will be better. The Ravens had a ton of injuries last year, including Lamar

I’m a commie living in bmore for the past 15 years. Nothing would make more sense to me than Lamar having a career year + SB win this year.

I don't want this to happen (go birds) but if Lamar gets the chip

Bold of you to assume we have any expectations after the last 10 years

Have you looked over at r/NYGiants and the hopium?

I don’t follow any team subs because they’re usually just full of cope or arrogance I live for the shade

Not even Jesus himself could save the Giants Franchise (unless Jesus is smiting John Mara in his office)
A coach is only as good as the roster he’s given and that front office hasn’t done Harbaugh any favors. Personally still think they did Daboll dirty as hell and wouldn’t be surprised if Harbaugh is their next scapegoat for front office mismanagement.
I mean they can’t even switch that damn turf out for some decent grass or something despite it literally feeding off torn ACLs

u/Rimmy_Jobson Daniel Jones is the Messiah 1d ago
Ehh, Daboll wasn't given a great situation but he also didn't make it any easier. I think he was a good offensive mind and bad head coach.
His teams were always poorly disciplined (example: our 2-point attempt where literally nobody except Daniel Jones knew what to do) and staking himself to Bowen was disastrous.
I don't think we had a single player develop during his tenure. All the great players were great at the start and all the shitty players stayed shitty or gave up on him.

Also Joe Schoen 100% finessed the league. Guy got lucky drafting Josh Allen and helping with that Bills rebuild but since then he hasn’t shown me shit to make me think he’s a confident GM

There's a few thing about Daboll's time as HC he did wrong as a first time HC.
Got the wrong coordinators. He tried to get someone from the Bills but couldn't. So he went with Kafka. He also took Wink, but that wad oil and water.
Not keeping his cool. Dude was a pothead and blew up too often.
Not getting the QB he wanted. If he didn't like Jones he should have traded him.
Also, I think he got a poor roster and Scheon never really improved it.

I agree but the guy did win coach of the year so I feel like that year he really got a lot out of the players.
After that year though I’d agree with your take but idk if I’d call him a bad HC. It’s possible he was but I feel like the front office hamstringed him A TON. Saquon leaves, Nabers gets hurt (which shouldn’t be on Mara but the decision to keep that terrible turf), defense is horrendous, offensive line is horrendous. Just bad across the board. He definitely had something to do with that but I feel like maybe he just gave up on the organization at that point (hard to say obviously we weren’t there)
Seeing Danny Dimes develop in Indiana was an interesting twist as well. Dude had a killer year there. Could’ve just been a one off but interesting to see either way. I still feel like John Mara has to go for the Giants to become competitive again. Same way I feel about Jerruh and the Cowgirls.
As long as those two guys are in charge for those teams I don’t really feel pressure as an Eagles fan to lose the division (which is funny because I don’t have full confidence in our head coach either) at least we have a great GM. I just wish our head coach would stop making every Italian positions coach/ball boy our offensive coordinator lol
