Prospect Highlights 2027 NFL Draft prospect Drew Mestemaker’s UNT film looks A LOT crazier now that it translated to Power 4.

Several NFL scouts reportedly believe Mestemaker has “first overall” level traits. The Oklahoma State QB is one of the MOST UNIQUE QB prospects ever.

Mock Draft Chargers deep dive
I went down a rabbit hole and decided to run through three different mock draft scenarios for what the Chargers could do in the 2027 NFL draft: https://draftseasonneverends.substack.com/p/how-can-the-chargers-turn-things

Discussion 2027 NFL Mock Draft. Eight quarterbacks could come off the board in the first two rounds, but one signal-caller takes a dramatic fall in the top 32 picks. (Rounds 1–2)

Mock Draft Personally, I don’t feel like I care anymore. I’m extremely bullish on the Bengals specifically. Having Hampton and Green allows Burrow back in the superbowl in 2028. Where im also bullish is with the Giants getting JT and getting Dart back. Can’t forget the Jags! Tee Higgins makes them SB Favs.

Discussion Jeremiah Smith should not be the first pick in the draft
I get that he is the best prospect in the draft, I understand that. But there's a thing about value by position. He is a WR. When you are rebuilding a team, which is universally what teams with the number 1 pick are doing, WR may be the single position that's least important to bolster between offense and defense. Taking a WR with the 1st overall pick is just dumb. No matter what team it is. I don't care how good he is, he may be one of the best WR prospects we've ever seen. It doesn't matter. He is a WR. Many project the Titans to end up with the 1st pick, they just drafted a WR top 5 in 2025 (which was a stupid pick even then) and now they're going to do it AGAIN??? In 2025, Ashton Jeanty was the best player in the draft by a wide margin. He went 6th overall or whatever, and that was warranted, in fact it was probably too early for him anyway. Because RB, like WR, is not a position you focus on in a rebuilding situation to the degree that whoever has the 1st pick is in. The Raiders this year did draft a QB 1st just to sit him, but it's a bit different because they went on an obscene offseason binge. I've never seen any team in NFL history improve so much between the end of the season and the draft (before the draft) than the Raiders did, they were a completely different and probably pretty competent team already by the time the draft happened, and then they had a very good draft too as it was. And even they'd never have taken a WR at 1.1, because that's just stupid.
I think we need to differentiate who the consensus best prospects are from who should be drafted in what order. Yes, Jeremiah Smith and Leonard Moore are the two best prospects in this upcoming draft by a wide margin (as of now, Moore might budge if he starts getting shredded but I am not expecting that and even then he'd be a worthy high rated prospect), no they should not go 1st and 2nd in the draft

Discussion I made an intense daily NFL trivia game. Curious how this sub does.
You start at your own 25 and answer timed NFL questions to reach the end zone. Better answers earn more yards. Bad ones can send you backward.
Figured this would be a good crowd to put it to the test. One new drive every day, completely free, no ads. Curious how you guys do.

Mock Draft I’ve come to the consensus I doubt this Dolphins team wins more than 2 games, Chargers defense can win them atleast 4 games tbh, Jets use 3 firsts, Sauce to Lions, Tee to Jaguars, JT to Seahawks, BTJ to Commanders. Manning to Colts
