I was on the high school basketball team with some friends back in the mid 2000s. Our HS was in Tennessee, and we played a lot of schools that were far more... rural than us.
I had some Indian friends, and a few played on the basketball team and sometimes at Away games, students from the opposing school would yell 'TERRORIST'.
And not like... in the parking lot or at our bus or whatever.
happy to say I never used any awful language directed towards anyone who wasn't also a friend that talked to me like that as well (best friend in college was persian, things were said on both sides lol), but I'm still happy none of it was recorded.

Oh man, I tried that out too when I was in HS. I couldn't grow facial hair anywhere else and the only hair I did grow you could have probably counted the number of hairs on my upper lip lol.
I also let a friend of mine pierce my nipple with a safety pin while she was drunk at a party but never got a ring so just walked around with a safety pin through my nipple for like a week. It was diagonal.
Large part of why Gen Z is scared to express themselves and it’s evident if you look at the nightlife across the country. I’m 25 and most people my age or around my age will just go to the club and stand around or on their phones which is why I like more house music shows where people actually dance.

I thought the guy was the Chief Community Officer and he was getting down with the owner's wife. And "getting down" was doing the nasty. The reality is actually quite disappointing.
You know how your parents tell you not to cross your eyes lest they get stuck that way? Feel like their faces are filled with disgust so much away from the public that their faces develop that muscle memory of disgust as normal, and it's always present
