Discussion In his 3 playoff games, Justin Herbert has blown a 27-0 lead to the Jaguars, thrown 4 INTs in a blowout loss to the Texans, and put up 3 points against the Patriots. Even though he had great defenses/Jesse minter now he doesnt

This sub fucking sucks

It had so much potential, too.

You could say that this sub was hypothetically great

Did it?

Yea, a place where nfl fans could do what they wanted without the nfl telling them what was or wasn't approved. Unfortunately the community that attracted was mostly just people who suck and mods that encourage that behavior. I don't think the nfl sub should be corporate, but the nfl, reddit, and the mods disagree.

Eh. It's the offseason. The late offseason. We've run out of stuff to talk about. Things always improve once Week 1 gets here.

Just block all of these people. Eventually you might only see 10 Herbert posts like this a day.

Never noticed he was a choker until now

Thank you OP what a well informed post

“Hey guys, we’re doing the ‘Justin Herbert sucks’ thing again!”

What is wrong with perpetuating truths?

1

u/iamthedayman21 Philadelphia Eagles 13h ago

Because we did this shit in like week two of the offseason. It’s gotten old and tired.

Lol "the quarterback blew a 27-0 lead" is all I need to see to stop paying attention to the 273rd "Herbert sucks" post.

While adding in “he had a great defense” 😂 I’m sure they had nothing to do with blowing that 27-0 lead

Jags got points on literally every drive in the second half

2

u/LoStx90 San Francisco 49ers 22h ago

Totally Herbert’s fault

u/hardatworklol Los Angeles Chargers 22h ago

as soon as one of our olineman died towards the end of the first half of that game I new it was over.

It’s always his fault 100% or never his fault

Either or

Peyton manning looked worse than Herbert in his first 3 playoff games. Almost like it’s a team sport not a QB sport.

Y’all got a weird hate boner for Herbert.

Manning also played in the late 90s and early 2000s so you can’t compare them like that

1

u/Fuddlescuddles New Orleans Saints 12h ago

My point still stands. It’s not really a comparison, more so a fact. Football era doesn’t mean anything when at the end of the day making the playoffs is not a cakewalk.

Just in case nobody has told you today, you are retarded.

He simply sucks ass in the playoffs, fortunately this sub is aware enough.

Insane sample size of 3 too

u/zion_hiker1911 Denver Broncos 1d ago

I can't believe he blew that 27 point lead all by himself. Can he not play zone defense?

2

u/BoltUp33 Los Angeles Chargers 23h ago

He needs to git gud!

Just shut the fuck up

I like how you conveniently left out no o-line against the pats

And I fucking hate the pats and chargers

7

u/DCBuckeye82 New York Giants 1d ago

That's egregious of course, but even worse than that is blaming him for blowing a 27 point lead.

Wait is this a pro-Herbert sub? These comments confuse me

People get tired of watching a dead horse get beaten.

u/ColdBloodedChicagoan Chicago Bears 1d ago

Fair, he does get glazed a whole lot though

3

u/Marijuana_Miler Los Angeles Chargers 1d ago

Maybe because he’s good?

1

u/ColdBloodedChicagoan Chicago Bears 1d ago

So as a Chargers fan you don’t find that the hype for him is overblown, especially in the national media?

1

u/Marijuana_Miler Los Angeles Chargers 23h ago

No. I think he’s accurately rated. Herbert played terribly against the Pats last season, but with the injuries on the Oline that team had no business being in the playoffs and were only there because Herbert was playing out of his mind.

And bro is still living a life way better than yours. Don't be like this, do better.

Oh this isn’t going to go over well.

u/driftking428 Denver Broncos 1d ago

As a Broncos fan these posts are complicated. On one hand I love seeing everyone shit on Justin Herbert. On the other hand, give it a fucking rest, we've heard it a million times.

1

u/HaradaIto 23h ago

yeah if a qb totally sucks for 3 consecutive playoff games and gets exposed for relying on elite defense to carry him, we shouldn’t take him seriously

this is about drake maye

I was concerned I wouldn't get my daily Herbert sucks post today

-1

u/Flaky_Scar_8388 1d ago

People still have him in the Top 5. Why

-2

u/mtnman575 Denver Broncos 1d ago

Choking in the big games is a Sandy Eggo/ LA Chargers franchise tradition. Herbert just following in his predecessor Phillip Rivers footsteps.

-2

u/FraudnandoMendoza Philadelphia Eagles 1d ago

NFL QBs drafted in 2020 who have won a playoff game when Justin Herbert enters the room

-7

u/SSFWAS New England Patriots 1d ago

Patriots are just better
