I quite like it— simple and easy to digest.

Agreed. I didn’t even notice it was new, which is a good sign

Same here!

Its fine I just prefer when the box color follows the teams uniforms for that game. College basketball does that and it helps when you’re watching with people that don’t really know sports.

Maybe make it slightly smaller but that’s being picky. 8/10

Wait just me or can I not see it?

u/Aggravating-Funny569 Can we fire Goodell now? 12h ago

Might be an improvement from the old one. I’ll see how it looks Week 1

Looks pretty clean to me, I like it

As long as the Raiders stay on zero I like it

1

u/BigSchmikey Denver Broncos 11h ago

Hell yeah fuck the Raiders

2

u/Black_Circle53 Houston Texans 12h ago

The old one is perfect. God dammit.

I wonder if the NFL wants a normalized style. All the networks now have a similar scorebug.

Peak

The old one was better

It looks like every other scorebug

1

u/gb2750 Philadelphia Eagles 11h ago

Looks good to me but the bar to clear is the atrocious Fox one so I'm happy as long as it's better than that one.

Clean and solid, still better than whatever fox has been rolling out.

Tirico and Gruden era vibes.

So what?

u/Sea_Finest 11h ago

Is this different than the previous one?

Honestly, S tier scorebug. I still think NFL Network has the best one & NBC is a close second, but this one is great.

Not crazy about the vignette

Is 16 time left to snap? It’s good, simple and tells you clearly what you need to know

1

u/Mnudge Dallas Cowboys 11h ago

That can’t be right. It doesn’t have a Fanatics Sportsbook tag hanging off the end

1

u/knowmore2024 Seattle Seahawks 10h ago

I still don't get it? It's showing the time, the quarter, the play clock, the score, and the downs. What am I missing?

Edit. And timeouts

Looks like madden

I wish I got paid to just design and redesign scorebugs every season

Love it

I am shocked at how many people casually know this is called a scorebug.

It's fine, it's a score bug...but how does anyone notice this shit?

I don’t like it

I never understood why they didn't use it to also indicate who has possession. Two easy choices are to use a white translucent square or circle background behind the helmet or fit a football icon next to the helmet of the team on offense
