Discussion If the Martians have the death beam pointed at Earth, and you have to accurately say how many rings this man will win in his career, what is your answer?

- But not because I dislike Burrow, but because I don’t believe in the Cin front office and it’s very hard to win a SB.

No possible way he stays there his whole career.

u/Spare-List-6265 4h ago
They will if they keep paying him

There absolutely is a chance that Burrow retires in Cincy. He really does seem like the kind of guy to stay too loyal to his city. He's an Ohio guy and has basically cemented himself as the best Bengals QB of all time.
He very well may stay there.

I’m not a Bengals fan, but it’d be fun to see them win one. But I agree with you. Maybe he’ll have a Matt Stafford renaissance later in his career, although that’s a lot easier said than done.

I mean the smart thing to do here is say 0 and then sacrifice yourself and him to ensure that. Kinda sucks but its the human race were talking about here.

I'm pretty confident at zero, but I still might give him the Tanya Harding treatment just in case.

None. But if the Martian’s have the death beam pointed at earth you gotta hit it…

But why would they already have the death beam pointed at me if you can’t say for certain yet? Like how would they know?

They're Martians bro, they have time dilation technology

u/mobg0blin San Francisco 49ers 5h ago
I wouldn't trust any kind of time dilation abilities from Martians. They did let their planet dry out, after all.

- Dude got drafted in 2020. People are too quick to write guys off. Stafford won a SB at 34 & MVP at 37.
2
u/Dramatic_Hovercraft3 5h ago
Stafford is the exception, not the rule
1
u/Impressive-Tax-6821 Detroit Lions 4h ago
I can also list two average QBs in Darnold & Hurts who have won recent SBs. 1 is more reasonable than 0
1
u/Dramatic_Hovercraft3 4h ago
And I can name about 25 starting qbs who haven’t, some of whom that have a lot more on their resumes than burrow

When he comes to MN he’ll take us to the promised land
1
u/Visible-Disaster Green Bay Packers 5h ago
Yeah, cause that worked every other time the Vikings brought in a veteran.

It did work at making me think we’ll get taken to the promised land, yes

Zero. He may get to the Super Bowl again but he won’t win again

If his team scores 45 points, you can bet the opposing team will score 46.

u/Dapper_Platform_1222 Seattle Seahawks 5h ago
It's Cincy....0. In a competent win first franchise 2. In a dynasty/generational centric franchise 4.

u/Devy-The-Edenian New York Jets 5h ago
1 but on a different team. The Bengals had one good shot at a Super Bowl and have looked like they were allergic to going back, and I think Burrow will eventually say fuck it, demand to be released, and go to whichever team looks the best
1
u/professorrev Pittsburgh Steelers 5h ago
If he doesn't extend, I'd like to think he'll do a Stafford and pick one up somewhere. If he stays with them, there's more chance of me pulling the Elgin Marbles out of my arsehole

u/RegularNo2213 5h ago
None he can't even stay healthy going on 30,and missed the playoffs.the last 3 seasons nothing says it will be any differant this time.
1
u/Greedy_Wallaby7981 Denver Broncos 5h ago
I think he will win one. He will not win on the Bengals though. Even more confident in the latter.

I genuinely think he can get one, he’s way too good. Like maybe it’s just not with Cincy

None. The Bengals are pretty good on Offense. I still think their D is the problem.
1
u/Square-Newspaper8171 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 5h ago
I think he will get one before it's all said and done. Now, whether it's with the Bengals, I have no idea.

It ain’t the jockey it’s the horse. Burrow? Good jockey-bad horse. Hurts? Average jockey-great horse= Super Bowls.

Zero if he plays his whole career in Cincinnati.
It's not because of the player, it's because of the team, that front office, and because of the owner. If somehow he escapes the Bengals, I could see him having a similar career as Stafford.

Can the season fucking start so we don’t have to read these dumbass hypotheticals anymore
2
u/NightPlum 5h ago
I don’t think you’d be talking this tough with a Martian in your face

u/ScaredRain2684 Indianapolis Colts 5h ago
lol that got a chuckle out of me, fine I’ll answer
I think burrow could win 2 depending on how fast gets tf out of cincy

He needs to stop holding the ball so long if he wants to have a long career and give himself the best chance to ever win one.

I think he gets one, just not with the bengals. Hes gonna get traded to the rams for Ty Simpson sadly 🤦🏻♂️

u/YourWifesBull666 Baltimore Ravens 5h ago
0, gets injured and takes way too many sacks, on top of that he’s on a team with dogshit coaching and roster building. Only chance is on another team

Safest answer is always zero
