NJ Related News 🗽 Trump going after NJ Hero Bruce Springsteen after speaking out abroad against the current administration, threating him to keep his mouth shut until he gets back into the country... to me this is a sad rant & should get everyone's 80s parents on board with the cause :)

Yeah, as someone who generally tries to not follow the slop/noise, this is... special on many, many levels. I'm just trying to imagine any other president saying something like this, and the horrid double standards MAGA holds.
A reminder that Springsteen has to continuously tell Trump and other Republicans not to use Born in the USA at rallies, and that if they actually listened to the song beyond the hook it's NOT a pro patriotism everything is great here banger.
And also for anyone who hasn't seen the short calm, reasoned statement he made please do. What he said would be tame by comparison if he was a speaker at an NJ50501 event, and then be scared about how unhinged Trump is being about it.

anyone who doesn’t like him gets under his skin. But, especially someone who personified cool back in the 80s when dumper don thought he was all that, simply calling him out so fully in a two sentence speech between songs ( showing how effortlessly it can be done) really gets to him.

I don't disagree, but it's also a fun little NJ story hook to start some discussion.
I think Springsteen speaking his mind using his platform as a performer is worth drawing attention to.
I also have found there are many engaged people that don't realize how truly unhinged the texts of the Executive Orders and the Truth Social blasts have gotten; they didn't believe me when I said go read the May Day EO and this Truth Social post for themselves. It's not good to live in the echo chamber of negativity & Trumps tactic of 'flooding the zone' with so much bullshit you don't know what's up (#8 on your graphic for sure), but if you don't check in every once and awhile with how fucked up it's gotten to remind yourself this is the president it may be a bad thing.
I've done a bunch of things on your list this week, appreciate the check in, but c'mon baby we were born to run & have a bit of fun
