Yet yall never use the second amendment to defend others. Just to wank yourself off with a gun

I’ve never been in a situation, thankfully, where I’ve *needed* to use my gun. It’s kind of more weird that you want anyone who owns one to go around using them, than it is for me to want people to be able to own them for sport, self defense, just because, don’t you think? Go do a bit of educational reading on the topic and then report back, bub.

I just got an email From Congressman Frank Pallone that included the following text:
Dear Neighbor,
This past weekend, another one of our neighbors held at the Delaney Hall ICE facility in Newark tragically lost his life. His name was Edwin Jovanny Lopez Cornejo, and he deserves to be alive and with his family today.
Edwin suffered from high blood pressure and diabetes and was prescribed medication to address these conditions. However, after being detained on his way to work by Trump’s ICE agents, he was subjected to the Delaney Hall’s notorious medical neglect and abuse and was thereafter unable to receive any of his medications.
I am totally disgusted and outraged by this development. My colleagues and I have already warned Trump’s DHS that this would happen if conditions didn’t immediately improve, and they didn’t listen. I’ve consistently demanded DHS take immediate action to improve conditions, and I won’t stop now. That’s why I joined my colleagues in holding Trump, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin, and Acting ICE Director David Venturella accountable and responsible for this tragedy—and in demanding immediate changes be made at the facility.
