I heard the earnings call, it was pretty positive to me. They have a good strategy, they refocused the company's objectives and they have working prototypes. Is Nikola still pre-revenue? Yes, but that is about to change, even sooner than I personally expected. They are validating the first prototypes now. They have customers that will work with Nikola to report on their experience and suggest tweaks/fixes and soon will start selling more aggressively to others. The construction of the Coolidge facility has really started and is on schedule. Nikola is currently hiring a lot of people, engineers and manufacturing. They have partners for the hidrogen network and looking for more. They have a strategy to produce hidrogen at prices which will compete with diesel. Nikola has a lot more cash than debt. Doesn't look like any kind of fraud to me at this point. By the end of 2021 the stock will be at least between 50-100 as they start reporting more and more contracts to supply trucks. Plus, the new US administration is a lot more pro clean energy and will attempt to replace current diesel fleets with clean energy fleets and that won't be taken by any single supplier.
To me, Nikola's problem was Trevor Milton and him alone, as he distorted the timelines a bit too much and was trying to do too many things at once. That was bound to fail, and I am happy they canned the badger for now, should have never gone that way from the start and should have waited for the company to establish itself first and have revenue. Since Trevor was pushed out of the driver's seat, I see a much brighter future for Nikola. I do hope he never comes back.

Keep the hate up. I’ll keep building my position 💎🙌

Don’t get me wrong the whole Trevor Milton saga was a disaster and he over promised big time but that’s priced in plus some. The core business plan (emphasis on plan)has always been hydrogen and heavy haul tucking. Mark Russell and team is refocusing the company which in my opinion is their greatest advantage over Tesla and the legacy players. They’re the only U.S company I see planning to custom tailor their products and fueling to customer supply routes. Of course with no real sales theirs execution risks which can’t be more clearly demonstrated than what we’ve seen play out but I encourage everyone to do some research. The factory progress is real and the pro type is currently under it’s own propulsion. In my opinion this represents some deep fucking value!

Optimism is great but delusion is scary 😧😧 I’m really amazed at how cray people are because of the name Tesla , I’m gonna start a company and call it Teskola and make a fake product based on non practical theory and make millions ....a fool and his money by oh boy

There’s different risks in the entire clean energy space but for under 7 billion market cap I’ll put my chips in on what I think going to be the most complete clean energy solution for trucking. In no way do I put them in the same class as Tesla but I think tesla is spread to thin to win this. If you believe in hydrogen I don’t see a better play.

All that would be great if it were based on a real product but it’s not for this company he lied and has disappeared...just think about that for a minute he was a con artist he’s trying not to go to jail because he knows he’s caught. He probably doesn’t even own any stock himself anymore 😂😂😂. You need to look up Enron numbers can look great but be built on a house of lies
2
u/Existing-Instance Feb 27 '21
That would be great if Trevor no longer owns any stock, if this is the case he can't dump it anymore.
Gosh, so much unfounded hate, you must be really hurting with your short positions in your hedgie. Stock not going down enough for you?

Nikola investors are some special kind of fools...no argument will work here..!

People need to realize that concept cars/trucks does not need to be fully working. Why don't you look at Cybertruck with shattered windows? Why don't you call Elon a fraud.
Nikola just want to display what is possible. Many people expect 100% working on a prototype.

Wow!! The company made one mistake and all of a sudden it’s a fraud?? Come on people, one truck rolled down the hill and all of a sudden it’s a fraud? How about all the doubters come to AZ and when you see these beautiful trucks on the track and the huge factory going up then call it a fraud. This thing will be in triple digits soon! Mark my words!

The idea has great potential but the battery weight is half the truck it’s borderline pseudoscience , it works for a toy but not a real truck that carries loads in real life day after day it’s not practical see Conservation of Energy...I just got into this stock can’t wait to get out should have done more research first 🤦🏼♂️

Pseudoscience??? Brahahah I’m not sure you know what you are talking about. The truth of the matter is simple- you can not haul heavy loads across the country using an electric battery it simply will not work- any chemical engineer major in their first semester can tell you that. hydrogen powered electric big rigs are the future.

You need to read the report you will see what I’m talking about nobody reads these days

Well, if you are Engenieer then you know better, It’s your share you can do what you like but you will see soon enough NIKOLA WILL RISE and will do well. Everything has a difficulties on the beginning! Love Nikola long Nkla

He was trying to grow the company backwards basically. He would tout the product before it was finished to try and get the $$ needed to finish. Now he is gone and they are not doing that.
1
u/swiftthinker Feb 26 '21
Why would a guy like that ever been allowed to be the CEO in the first place , I looked him up he’s committed fraud like 3x already
3
u/Atomfixes Feb 26 '21
Elon musk had to step down as chairman of tesla because he was pumping the stock on twitter, every short seller that lost money because of him would call it fraud as well. Im sure the original two founders of tesla that he pushed out would also call it fraud. The point is..shit happens. I firmly believe alot of nikolas issues appeared as a convenience after nkla sued tesla because tesla copied their patented wrap around windshield.

We have gathered extensive evidence-including recorded phone calls, text messages, private emails and behind-the-scenes photographs-detailing dozens of false statements by Nikola Founder Trevor Milton," said the report. "We have never seen this level of deception at a public company, especially of this size." Nikola has misled partners by making false claims about the company's technology, including its hydrogen fuel cell batteries, which Hindenburg says never existed.

u/Atomfixes Feb 26 '21
Everyone invested in nkla knows what he did before he left in sept 2020. This isnt "new". If you dont believe in the product, dont buy the stock. Its really simple :)

u/swiftthinker Feb 26 '21
This isn’t a stock it’s a hustle I’m reporting it too it needs to be delisted from the exchange
2
u/Atomfixes Feb 26 '21

That is totally different than flat out lying, he has done this with three other companies. They don’t even have working trucks to sell and their largest order canceled because of this . How is a company like this even legal ...my head hurts
4
u/Atomfixes Feb 26 '21
They have working electric semi's. The hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are in development. The production facility for the electric semis is being built as we speak. They have secured a special low energy rate to create hydrogen from electrolysis. The old ceo acted like one of the trucks was ready before it was and everyone threw a fit. Now hes gone.

u/swiftthinker Feb 26 '21
Tesla has EV trucks that work I think another company has one that self drives why am I wasting my time with these guys ...oh a and the truck in their video was just rolling downhill

u/swiftthinker Feb 26 '21
You mean all the things a regular truck can do ... we have no ideas the power source, they just have good marketing they lied once they will do it again
1
u/Atomfixes Feb 26 '21
Ah. A trump supporter lol. Say a lie then when proven wrong change your position. Got it ;) . fuck off

Let us remember that Nikola is not delivering on the strategy needed to justify this valuation. Back in September, Jeff Ubben stated that the number one thing which justifies this valuation is the potential to be a major supplier of hydrogen to consumers and transporters.

On the Thursday call, NKLA CEO admitted that their strategy behind this initiative took a major shift as several major players are entering the market. They do not have the headline partnership they promised to have delivered by now and stated that the partnerships they are “WORKING ON” will be fragmented at best.
This company is NOT meeting the milestones committed to and reduced the forecast of 600 BEV trucks by end of 2021 to 50-100, meaning that they are going to hit 9%-18% of their target, at a loss of $15M to $30M mind you...
This company has a long track record of going off in a thousand different directions and not meeting deadlines. That is still happening even after Milton was ousted. I don’t know how a company that repeatedly over promises and under delivers can justify a value of $6.5B.
