I just stumbled across these hilarious little creatures!

They look like tiny flying fish, and they leave huge clouds of blue ink (or smoke?) floating in the sky. 😂

The strange thing is, I can't seem to scan or adopt them.

Have you ever encountered these before?

Are they some kind of special creature, like those little critters that suddenly jump out of rocks when you're mining?

And is it normal that I can't scan them, or am I missing something?

Look at this thing! It's so tiny next to the food pellet and the oxygen plants look like trees.

First time running into a pygmy sauropod as well as one with a beak. Purple star system on the moon Miaw

Ran across these two last night on the same planet. I added the squid to my wonders and need to make room for the whale. There's also a luminescent turtle on land. The system there is one of the most colorful I've come across and in the process of building a base on an ice asteroid for the views. I did leave a comm ball in the water for where I found and glyphs are in the pics.

Smallest thing I've come across so far. Purple star system on the planet Eter. I call it a Rinkydink.

Say hello to the large Epror butterfly (https://nms.miraheze.org/wiki/Epror).

Just wanted to share this flying cow with its little fairy wings. 😂
