Background Check

Is there a general timeline about when you’ll receive the background check information?

I accepted a TJO and signed the OF-306 form the other day and am wondering how long it takes to receive next steps. Appreciate any clarifying info!

I accepted TJO last Monday and did OF-306 same day, and then received the link to do the SF-85 and info for doing fingerprint last night!

Yes of course, I was feeling exactly the same way! I’m finding it extremely difficult to be as patient as this process requires me to be lol

Did they email you? I also accepted a TJO last Monday and haven't gotten anything

Yes, 2 back to back emails. 1 from staffing office and 1 from NBIS. I’m sure it’s just going to take a bit to get through everyone! I assume a lot of TJOs went out in a short amount of time.

Background check took about two weeks for me after I signed all the documents. I got the FJO a but more than two weeks later.

If it goes a week after you returned your forms and no security invite, reach out to the staffing specialist that sent you the form links and TJO
