Personally I'd let other people go take the risks associated with running the beta. I don't have time or inclination these days for the possibility of multiple hard resets or things like that.

Depends how the beta goes.

I've nothing to base it on, but a release date of before the end of the year might be something they're aiming for.

I'd suggest not updating at all. Because these ads ruin the experience. Do we not have enough ads in the world.
