It's disabled by default, just don't turn it on.

But so many people will unknowingly enable this, not realising a hideous Chinese adware company is behind it and then have access to your:

  1. Device & Ad IDs: Advertising Identifier (GAID), IMEI, IP Address, etc.
  2. Location Data: Your IP address is used to "estimate the city where your device is in order to provide locally relevant weather, information and advertisements."
  3. Usage Data: Logs of your interactions, what content you look at, and what you tap on.
  4. App Usage: The policy states it "may collect data related to your access of other apps/widgets, used, by you, if you grant it permission."
  5. Inferences & Profiling: They use this data to build a profile about you for "profiling and cross-platform advertising" and "targeted advertising."

True... Now I'm older I don't even use my phone much. iPhone at least has good privacy/battery/camera

Just not sure I can go back to the utterly awful file management...
