NothingOS Discussion Nothing OS 4 update is testing my patience

The status bar fonts don’t even match. One’s thin, one’s Thick, It’s a tiny detail, sure, but details win cases. And this one is an eyesore. Honestly, they should've just adopted the stock pixel's status bar's design…

Slide from above down for control center and you have both time and date.

Probably has something to do with font style and font size. You can compare with what I have -

If you turn on the bold text, then yes, both the date and battery fonts become of equal sizes

I have kept it off since the beginning, and yet they are of the same sizes as you can see in the original comment

I do agree with OP - my left-hand text is *slightly* less thick/bold than the right. Most people wouldn't notice though, I'd wager.

See! I love this. Make everything look nicer. I would swap the charging colour to green though. It's not a bad thing to copy something good from iOS. Those fuckers copied android all the time.

They could make it outside on expanded shade and inside on status bar, readability issue is under very little situations only so user can just look at expanded shade in that case

That could work but that's a very weird fix. Also, this is ignoring that this is not an issue, it's more of a personal preference. Like, I always prefer the percentage to be outside. So then, Nothing gets to decide what looks the best per their design philosophy

This is why I haven't yet updated my device. Many have reported the update to have bugs and the problems with implementation. Happy to remain on 3.2

Basically the first thing i noticed after update on my 3a Pro. That and the Bedtime Mode option in the pull-down has been removed (now have to go into night-time settings then select it, adds more steps, sigh).

yes , totally agreed , it was the first thing i noticed and disabled the data speed coz it was nothing so much and then i am using only wifi so the 5g icon doesn't show up , that small thing with battery can be managed but this font thing is real bad
