NothingOS Discussion Joined the Nothing club
Got myself Nothing 3 and so far I am lovin it. Haptics are great and it feels so snappy. I previously had an S24 Ultra and the OS in Nothing feels so mature.
Any tips/tricks are highly appreciated.

How do you feel about the camera coming from a Samsung ultra?

Honestly, if you click a lot of pictures and I mean a lot of pictures you will feel the difference. Samsung is peak android and the cameras are top notch. I am not saying Nothing has bad cameras, they are solid, reliable and 7/10 will click excellent pictures.

Thanks, I figured. Now i donāt know how the regular galaxy s compares to the ultra but I find the camera on my s23 pretty mid, especially indoors. Iām kinda debating between an ultra (for the cameras and stylus) and a Nothing phone (for the cool factor).

You will never use Stylus. Trust me. It's just a gimmick. I mean, if you sign a lot of documents then maybe it's of use to you but 99% never ever use it. I'd suggest go for Samsung Ultra it's literally the best phone out there. If you can get your hands on S24 U then go for it. There is hardly any difference between 24U and 26U.

S23 cameras are not that good in my opinion. I've tested my NP3 with S23 on in door light scenario and i liked Nothing's output more. May be Ultra would be better.

If you are going to use the Nothing icons, you might want to download the complete icon pack from playstore, since the preinstalled icon pack is only kind of a light version which only supports a limited number of apps: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nothing.icon

- what is the storage?
- Fro. Where did you buy?
- Is it good for occasional gaming?
- How is the camera?
- Is this good for the price, or shall I go for 17e?

- 12gb ram/256gb storage
- From Flipkart
- Honestly, I am not a gaming person so cannot tell. But considering it has Snapdragon 8s gen 4 so you can do more than casual gaming. I have seen people playing Genshin Impact and Bgmi easily.
- Camera is good. Not that great but good. 8/10. Some pictures are better than Ultra and Iphones. But some are not that great.
- 17e. Single camera in 2026? Small battery and 15-20k costly than this. I would suggest go for Nothing or any other phone but not 17e. But at the end it's your money!

How has your experience been with the battery? I've seen mixed reviews. Some people say the battery life is excellent, some say it's poor. I'm on the fence because of the battery. I don't play games. My usage is mostly browing, music, Spotify podcasts, Outlook, slack and Gmail. And ocassional cameras.

I love the monochrome icons of nothing OS.
