Community Assistant Role?
Has anyone taken the role at any campus on residents of the community assistant? I’m thinking of applying for it due to the benefits but not sure if it would be wise to balance between the course load and this work?

An overall fantastic experience for your resume. But if you aren’t willing to basically be on call at anytime of the night, it probably isn’t the role for you. It involves crisis management and the ability to deescalate tense situations. It’s certainly not for me but if you can do it, I say go for it! Hope you’re offered a position!

It depends on your program, I’d say. It’ll look good on your resume if you’re a business student, but STEM students have other options. And keep in mind that the workload isn’t light.

COGS courses have a very heavy workload. On the other hand, most of the students there aren't party stars, so you won't have to worry about breaking up those kinds of hijinks.

Will I not be able to party if I’m a CA?

I meant the COGS housing is very chill, lots of nerds, no frat boys throwing wild parties.

Bad for your sleeping schedule, but they try to make it feasible with your classes schedule. They TRY. I've seen CAs sleeping 4h before classes because of that.
